Good Omens Fic Rec: Of Size and other Matters
When Crowley gets a random text from an unknown number, he thinks it must be a joke at first. Turns out it's by a rather amusing stranger who might have an interesting matter at hand. Aziraphale just wants to get an upcoming function over with and not have people trying to set him up with anyone. At least whoever accidentally received his message seems to take the mishap with humour.
Length: 28,204 words
AO3 Rating: Explicit / Spice Level 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Best for: At Home, After Dark, Human AU, Comedy
Triggers: None

*Minor Spoilers* This is an excellent wrong number to fake relationship story. The mash up of these tropes is so fun. Aziraphale has just gotten a new phone you see, so of course the suggestive message he meant for his friend Tracy is instead sent to a complete stranger. Whoops!
This author has an excellent voice for Aziraphale. Very witty and in character, with a flirtation in him that comes through now and again. There is a secret he whispers into Crowley's ear that had me on the floor. It's not even fully told to us (it’s mostly an "off camera" scene) and yet the tension got to me so much I had to look away for a second! Crowley is very suave here, he knows how to read people and his interactions with Gabriel are a real highlight. He clearly knows which of Gabriel's buttons to press! Those aren't the only buttons he presses though, as fate would have it, Crowley can provide exactly the thing that Aziraphale desires. The sex in this written as skippable, but I think it is the main course of this story. Their push and pull is very thrilling. This author has an excellent grip on their compatibly and passion for each other.

10 P.M.
Two Hours until Automated Take-Off.
He stared at Soul’s dead body from the hall, his hands shaking at his side, his eyes unable to look away from his teammate's bloodied, unmoving corpse. He took a deep breath in, trying not to cry as he approached the lifeless red and black suit, pocketing the brush he had picked up in a different room, the only thing he’d found so far. And he didn’t notice anything next to Soul’s body, either from one or two things. A hoarding bug, or he had just simply not found anything, although that’s not what Heart was worried about now.
He gently lifted the lifeless body, looking around. Nothing seemed to pop out at him that could’ve been the perpetrator, the cause of his teammates death. He couldn’t tell if that was a good or bad thing. He let out a shaky breath, trying to make his way to the fire exit he knew was somewhere around. He had passed it earlier, he knew that. But he couldn’t remember exactly where.
Mind had only opted to stay in the ship as it was the last day on a bigger quota, and if all three of them died, they would lose all of the loot in the ship, and Soul didn’t want to take the role of staying in the ship this time. He was typically placed there in a type of “time out” in the ship, as outside he’d normally throw himself at danger and try his best to die. Although nothing really stopped him, because the man has a concerningly strong will to die. A determination, if you will. A beep came from the item lodged at his hip. Mind’s voice came through, crackled and slightly annoyed.
[Soul? Did Heart die again?]
Heart propped the body in his hands up against his knee, grabbing the walkie talkie.
(Nope... it’s me.) He noticed how his breath shook. He had to pause to breathe and try not to cry on radio- that would be embarrassing. (I, uh...Soul’s dead, yeah.)
[Oh. I’m surprised it’s not you.] Then, quietly added- [...this is why both of you shouldn’t go inside. Soul should’ve stayed at the ship again.]
Heart gulped slightly. The silence after the message seemed so loud, seemed to make his head hurt. He continued walking, his boots making the floor underneath him shake and thump against the metal grate flooring. He cursed quietly under his breath, walking into a room he definitely didn’t remember- he was lost. He continued walking around, stumbling and trying to find his way while carrying a dead body. He knew he had to rush, but he couldn’t exactly run with this dead weight in his hands. It was a miracle he could even carry it- Heart was not known for his strength.
[Are you lost?]
He cringed slightly. He would not need Mind’s help, he told himself. He did not need help. He could find his way by himself, because it had to be somewhere. The building couldn’t be infinite, right? It had to loop back somewhere. Somewhere, hopefully, near. He ignored the question, trying to avoid the vulnerability of asking for help in general- especially from Mind, who seemed to figure out that he needed help pretty quickly, and started to give him directions that ended up frustrating him even more. He didn’t need it, he was fine.
[It’s just up ahead. Keep going straight. Wait-]
Heart practically had a heart attack- pun intended -when he noticed a pink and purple box with human-like fleshy feet and one arm approaching him. It stood there, blocking his way, right in the doorway that he needed to go through. He stumbled backwards slightly, watching the jester stand still, as if deciding what to do. He put Soul down, yanking the walkie talkie out of its slot on his belt, his grip on the item almost causing it to be thrown against the wall.
(Shit, Mind- it’s a jester. I-I...I can’t get through.)
A quiet curse came through.
[Okay. Alright.] He paused. [Breathe. Let’s just go around. Leave Soul's body there- it’ll be fine, he’s just dead weight.]
Heart let out a nervous chuckle, the joke making him feel slightly better. He turned around into the darkness, glancing back at the jester every few seconds although he knew that it was passive...for now. He listened intently to Mind's directions, only really complying this time because he did not wanna die, although he didn’t have hope. Left, left, right, there’s a red dot behind him, keep going, left, right. He froze in place when he heard distant, quiet music, finding it harder to breathe as the almost soothing nursery melody entered his ears, processing what was happening. What was about to happen.
[Heart?]
(Mind, it’s fucking cranking- where’s the fucking exit, please, now-)
Mind gulped, his fingers tapping away at the keys on the terminal.
(Mind? M-Mind?)
He cleared his throat, talking into the walkie.
[Listen to me and listen carefully. You need to backtrack- the jester moved away from in front of the door. I don’t have sight on it now, but it’s no longer in the way. 180, then it’s left, right, left, right and right. I need to go silent because there are dogs nearby.] He frantically whispered into the walkie, his leaden eyes tracking the red dots doing circles around the ship on the monitor in front of him. [Do you need me to repeat?]
(Left, right, left, right and-)
[And right.] He nodded, the act purely for reassuring himself. [Good luck.]
(Thanks..?)
[You will need it.]
He turned the walkie off, the beep echoing through his ears. He climbed under the desk, squating and watching the door directly opposite of him. It was late, and all he could see was shadows walking, and he could hear the eyeless dogs growling and snarling. He could also smell their putrid, disgusting smell, and he covered his nose. He slowed his breathing as he heard something approaching, trying to minimize how much noise he was making while he waited for Heart to return, although he didn’t have his hopes up about that either.

Good Omens Fan Fiction Friday (4/18/25) - Texting
For someone who barely texts, it's amazing how much I love a good text thread in a Good Omens fan fic. There are tons of great text threads out there. But today, I'm highlighting fics in which texting is primary.
Since you probably assume these will all be human AUs, I thought I'd start with our angel and demon texting each other in Lockdown Texts (G) by the smashing @klikandtuna. Isolated by the Covid lockdown, Crowley has a cell phone delivered to Aziraphale and teaches him how to text. I was LMAO at all the things Aziraphale thought LMAO could mean.
The first text fics I ever read were the Wrong Number AU series by GaryOldman. They begin with Texts from an Unknown Number (T) in which Aziraphale tries to text his brother Gabriel at a loud halloween party and ends up reaching Crowley instead. After this meet-cute, we follow them through the first year of their relationship in Sorry, Right Number (T). And finally, we read their text thread all the way to their wedding in He's My Wrong Number (T).
It's a short series of the fluffiest fluffiness.
In Of Size and Other Matters (E) by LCWrites, Aziraphale's friend Tracy is trying to fix him up with a date for a family function. When he accidentally texts a reply to one of her spicy comments, he reaches Crowley instead. Yes, the title is relevant to the content if you're turned on by something other than silly text threads.
And since I'm already on the topic, I might as well hit Sorry, Right Number (aka The Dick Pic Fic) (E) by @thavron. Be warned this fic is accompanied by NSFW artwork if you read fics on the subway. And yes, it's just what it promises in the title. Crowley accidentally texts a dick pick to Aziraphale who replies. It's silly. The banter is ridiculous.
Finally, let's end on a sweet note. This next fic does not feature tons of text threads, just one very important one. The Angel I Knew (M) by @captainblou is one of those beautiful fics that hits you in all the feels. I loved it so much. Aziraphale gets a text from his former spouse nearing the 20th anniversary of their child's death asking to meet. At their meeting, Aziraphale finds that his spouse has transitioned and is now Anthony. The pair navigate the deep wounds inflicted when their child died. I'm tearing up just thinking about it. But in all the best ways. This is the kind of fic that will stick with you.
I'll be back next Friday with more great Good Omens fan fics on a new theme. In the meantime, check out my other favorite fics on this pinned post of weekly Good Omens fan fiction recommendations. And if my faves appear to be your faves, check out my bookmarks on AO3--all the fics I rate in my top 10% (two of the fics from this week are on this list).
Don't forget--always thank your favorite fic writers. They're a gift to the fandom.

Hello! Thank you so much for your amazing work :) Do you know any AUs with one of them as a writer or editor or librarian or something that relates to books (but not the typical bookshop)? Thank you!!! :)
Hi! We have #writer aziraphale and #writer crowley tags. Here are more fics in which they work with books...
New in Town by orphan_account (T)
Aziraphale runs a library in a small english town where not much happens. He is, however, quite intrigued by the beautiful person who just came to town. It doesn't help that the stranger likes to frequent his library quite a bit.
Between a Book and a Hard Place by LCwrites (E)
After a very enjoyable one-night stand, A. Z. Fell and A. J. Crowley go separate ways, though memories of each other linger. More than they ought to, considering it was nothing but a casual encounter and they won't meet again. How fortunate for them that their respective work is keeping them busy. Having one of his more salacious novels turned into an audio book should be enough of a distraction for Aziraphale. As should be getting to narrate one of the famous M. Cortese's porn books – pardon: historical erotica – for Crowley.
As Yet Untitled by badwolfgirlicouldkissyou (E)
Aziraphale Fell is a number one best-selling author, despite his lack of self confidence and desire to hide from the public eye. Whilst fighting off his anxiety disorder at the premiere of his first novel's feature film adaptation, he meets an enigmatic, mysterious photographer who seems to only have eyes for him. Can they navigate their newfound bond? Or will past trauma and current obstacles get in their way?
Work of Heart by WickedWriter (T)
Aziraphale loved his volunteer duties at the library, he was able to surround himself with books and find a comfortable routine. He even made friends with the people who worked there, which helped to fight off the loneliness that settled into his life. All due to one change in his usual routine, Aziraphale met Crowley‒ a fellow volunteer‒ who was almost the opposite of him in every way. Crowley was flashy and boisterous, and the children who attended his reading circle absolutely adored him. Although Aziraphale really wished he’d pick something other than horror stories to read to them.
Editor's Note by ghostrat (M)
A.J. Crowley, best selling author of action thrillers and sci-fi dramas, wants to try his hand at romance. When writer's block rears its ugly head, his editor and literary agent suggests a romantic writer's retreat in a last-ditch effort to meet his deadline. Aziraphale can be a miracle worker at times, but there's no way a reclusive month away will spark all the romance he needs to finish... Editor AU: In which two of the least romantic men on earth try to write a romance novel.
Write A Way by AngieWords (E)
Azira Fell and AJ Crowley are both successful authors in their own right, invited to speak at the same national book festival. Despite a falling out a couple of years ago, they've never actually met in person - so this event is going to be excruciatingly awkward for both of them. Right? As it happens, and unbeknownst to them, it seems they share a love of a certain TV show... and being very active parts of its fandom (yep, it's Fanfic Writer Crowley and Fanfic Reader Aziraphale time!)

But behind closed doors, their relationship is anything but proper. What began as a hesitant, yet passionate affair has deepened over the past year. The recent hush of winter cloaked them like a dream, each stolen hour strengthening a bond neither dare name aloud.
And now with spring’s arrival, the Viscount’s affections grows bolder. Crowley, ever conscious of the gulf between their stations, cannot bring himself to believe such happiness could last. With the promise of love slipping through his fingers, he must confront the truth of his own desires—and decide whether he has the courage to reach for it.
Somewhere In The Woods by animeangelriku Rating: E Words: 9,475 Chapters: 1 Summary: There’s something about this complete stranger that begs Crowley to stay, to listen to him, to give him a chance.
“Who are you?” he asks, his voice barely audible. The smile on the man’s face grows. His eyes crinkle at the corners. His cheekbones round into a curve that Crowley wants, for an outrageous moment, to bite.
“Aziraphale,” the stranger—Aziraphale—answers. “Now, are you coming with me?”
Written for the prompt: I accidentally stumbled into a fae spring gathering while chasing my runaway cat, and you’re the fae who’s annoyed I didn’t dress for the occasion but still insists on dancing with me.
Night Blooms by GaiasEyes Rating: E Chapters: 10 Summary: Early spring has always stirred both romance and nostalgia in Aziraphale Fell. So, when he stumbles upon a once-familiar, now untended garden one crisp March morning, he cannot resist exploring. One flower in particular calls to him—more vibrant, more fragrant than the rest. Drawn to its beauty, Aziraphale plucks the bloom, certain it will make the most exquisite tea. But when he drinks it, the infusion does more than delight his senses—it stirs dreams richer than reality and conjures the presence of a man who haunts them. Written for the prompt: I found a strange flower in your garden that smells incredible and tasted just as good… only now I can’t stop dreaming about you.
Homecoming by Heretic1103 Rating: E Chapters: 15 Summary: After their friendship ended badly nearly fifteen years ago, Crowley and Ezra meet again when Crowley is temporarily forced back to his hometown to recover from an injury on the job. Can they rekindle the friendship and possibly turn it into something more?
Alpenglow by LCwrites (Janara) Rating: E Chapters: 5 Summary: Freshly out of a relationship and at what feels like a turning point in his life, Aziraphale takes himself to a lonely mountain cottage with the hope of finding peace and quiet. Figuring It Out by Leviosally and Wings of Opal Rating: E Chapters: 5 Summary: Spring has come to London, and with it, fresh possibilities. Anthony Crowley--determined to finally follow through on old dreams--signs up for a couple of classes as he tries to revisit what he loves best, get out of a rut, and get back into his career as a freelancer. Aziraphale works as a librarian not far from St. Lucius' School of Fine Art, and when his neighbor and friend, Anathema, asks if he would be interested in a little side-gig as one of the life models for her Intermediate Figure Drawing class, he agrees. That's not going to awaken things in anyone, right? Spring semester Art school meet-cute
Syzygy by Mageofthepeople Rating: E Words: 9,807 Chapters: 1 Summary: Dr Anthony Crowley decided that a small village in Oxfordshire would be the best place to make some astronomical observations for the upcoming Vernal Equinox. Az Fell is a bookseller set to start work on continuing his education. After an encounter in Tadfield's only nightclub ends badly, they find themselves in each other's company in a remote field outside the village. Written for the prompt: I’m an astronomer tracking the equinox, and you’re a witch who’s furious I’ve camped out on your ritual site. I don’t care about magic, and you don’t care about science.
The Breaking Of The Ice by MirjamOmens (Mirjam) Rating: M Words: 6,802 Chapters: 1 Summary: The earth thrummed under Aziraphale’s feet. Huge chunks of ice and debris grated against each other as the power of the flood crashed them into the pillars of the bridge and up the riverbanks. The bridge held, as it had for many years, and soon the flood wave passed, leaving a free, roaring river in its wake. Aziraphale looked upstream, where the river curved behind the small batch of forest, and drew a deep breath to calm his heart.
Spring was here, and with spring came high waters, and with high waters came… the log drivers.
A historical log driver human AU. Aziraphale lives in a village by a river. Every spring the log drivers arrive to spice up the life of the sleepy village for a couple of weeks before they continue downstream. One of them has red hair, strong arms and lovely hands. Not that Aziraphale has been watching, of course.
I'm watching you watch me (the way the devil watches angels) by MM2022 Rating: G Words: 5,116 Chapters: 3 Summary: Crowley met his angel the day he Fell. He was not even being his usual dramatic self when saying this, no—a fall on the runway during Paris Fashion Week was indeed a capital-F Fall. Fake relationships
This trope should be renamed as pre-real relationships. I'm sure I read more than the ones currently in this list, but I can't find them at the moment. Please do check other people's reblogs, plenty more recs there!
Of Size And Other Matters, by LCwrites. Rated E, 28 k. P. Jul 22.
Lovely from strangers to lovers, fake relationship human AU. Aziraphale needs a date to accompany him to an event hosted by his brother, Gabriel. Crowley receives a text from a stranger, clearly by mistake, but why not having some fun? I really like the dynamics between them, the ease and the trust. A tiny bit of angsty pining but quickly and happily resolved.
The Small Ad, by ladydragona and SylWritesStuff, rated E, 32k. P. Jan 24.
To overcome boredom, Crowley offers his services as a hired partner. Aziraphale is in need of someone to pretend to be his partner. The rest is history. This is a lovely, hot, and sweet fake relationship fiction. Very interestingly, the POV changes at every paragraph, and because the story has two authors it left me wondering whether one wrote Crowley and one wrote Aziraphale, but kind of in real time.
Plus One, by Caedmon. Rated E, 100k. P. Mar 24.
Human AU where Aziraphale comes from a very wealthy, traditional, old fashioned family and needs a date to take to his brother's (Gabriel) wedding. Guess who volunteers?
And Now All Of My Garden Is Grown In Lavender, by ilikeblue. Rated E, 72k. P. Apr 24.
Aziraphale is a successful queer romance author whose books are being adapted for TV. At the start of his career, his agent, Gabriel, insisted he claims to be married in order to gain more readers. Now that the spotlight is on him, Aziraphale needs someone to play the part of his husband. Did I mention that Crowley is Aziraphale's gardener and friend? I'm sure you know where this is going. This story has a little angst and lots of good vibes of trust, friendship, love and loyalty. And a happy ending!
On The Same Page, by Chekhov. Rated E, 117k. P. Sep 20.
Human AU where Aziraphale and Crowley are both writers. Aziraphale writes Christian books, Crowley writes adult books and they help each other out with their writing. Until they have to pretend to be married. This was such a good read, I really couldn't put it down. It's almost exclusively narrated in Aziraphale's POV but the mutual pining is evident and the build up to them resolving their issues is so bittersweet and deep and just lovely. There is a happy ending, don't worry. And the side story will really... aargghh, I won't spoil it for you, just read it.
Married At First Sight, by Aracloptia. Rated T, 146k. P. Dec 23.
A new classic! I doubt anyone reading these lists might have missed this fic, but let me tell you how much I loved it anyway! As the title suggests, Aziraphale and Crowley take part in the reality Married At First Sight. It's hate at first sight for our two heroes, unfortunately, but the slow burn that follows must be one of the sweetest things I've read in fiction. Crowley and Aziraphale both come a long way to understand each other and let their guard down, and the whole process is just marvelous to witness. And, no, I've never watched a single episode of the show Married At First Sight either, you really don't need to on order to enjoy this fabulous fiction. Lovely array of side characters to top it all!

Good Omens Fic Rec: Special Delivery
Crowley receives a rather interesting parcel which was meant to go to his neighbour. What starts as a chance encounter soon develops into something more. When Aziraphale ordered a specific item in a bout of spite, he would never have expected that it would lead to getting to know his neighbour better. A lot better. And maybe himself a little as well.
Length: 27,818 words
AO3 Rating: Explicit / Spice Level 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Best for: At Home, After Dark, Human AU
Triggers: none
Read it here, fic by LCwrites
*Minor Spoilers* Of course I am always grateful for any length of a story an author gives us, but I went through all the stages of grief when this one ended. I seriously need this to be a million words long because I enjoyed it so much!
I'm a huge fan of this author, I've read many of their works and they write incredible sexual tension. Their Aziraphale's know what they want and are not afraid to get it! Almost every Aziraphale they write has this inner slut that gets to blossom around Crowley. It's a great reminder of the way they compliment and balance each other in every iteration.
This human AU starts off as an awkward, but sexually charged, meet cute between neighbors. And ends on a trilling exploration of a voyeur (photographer)/exhibitionist dynamic. Crowley, likes to look, and Aziraphale, likes to be looked at. Such electric chemistry in this one. Clearly an after dark read here, and something you'll want to read in one sitting!

Hi there! I just wanted to congratulate you for all your hard work!! All of you have made an important account for this fandom, and I hope you're all doing alright
As a treat (and only if you want!!), can you tell me a cool fic you've read but never recommended before? (If not, that's quite alright)
Hello. Here are some fics I've read and enjoyed recently that I don't think we've recommended before, but if we have they are worth recommending again and adding to the #mod faves tag...
Marriage in an Orange Grove by shanimalx (T)
Murmurations is the oldest café in Soho, whose clientele is usually limited to reclusive artists, older men who value peace and quiet, and those who know the employees personally. Crowley is all three. (Aziraphale makes Crowley a cup of coffee, and Crowley kind of wants to marry him for it.)
Imagine how the world could be by HolRose (T)
Salesman Crowley is driving home when he sees a man in obvious distress at the side of the road. He stops and offers him a lift. Little does he know that this compassionate action will change his life forever. This is a human AU that can be read as a stand-alone story without reference to the other works in the series.
A Tricky Situation (Entirely of his own making) by sixbynine (E)
"Crowley stood up and went to leave, he turned back just as he opened the door and took a deep breath. “You know I was quite excited to come here and work with you. I enjoyed reading your work. I disagree with a lot of it, but your writing style is lovely and every so often you’d let that privileged rich white boy mask drop and it was fantastic. I was hoping to meet that Professor Fell, but I’m beginning to think maybe he doesn’t exist and I’m going to be stuck with a rude stuck up arsehole for the next five years.” He slammed the door behind him before Aziraphale could respond. Aziraphale gaped, open mouthed, at the shut door." -- Aziraphale is teaching at Kings College London. He's been teaching at King College London for a long time now thank you very much and he does not take kindly to new Professors being sprung on him suddenly. Especially when this one has quite publically made his opinon of Aziraphale's work known. Luckily Aziraphale has an understanding penpal...
Among the Stacks by MeinirRhos (NR)
Nearly a year after Aziraphale returns to Heaven, he vanishes from existence, leaving Crowley bereft on Earth. Just when the demon has finally started to heal and move on with his life, he finds his angel by chance in a library. But Aziraphale has no memory of his life as an angel, or of Crowley. How will our hero cope?
But You Are An Ocean by megzseattle (T)
After Aziraphale's defection, Crowley tries to figure out how to live life for himself.

AJ Constantine's Fic Recommendations: Good Omens Alpha/Beta/Omega
There are some really fun themes that can be played with in an Alpha Beta Omega alternate universe. Experiencing, giving into, or resisting instincts/ animalistic urges, societal clashes... Even just the world building alone can be delightfully interesting to read as well as write.
There are particular ABO structures I tend to like more than others, and I've gathered a list of those that I particularly enjoy.
Click on the link below to see the list of recommendations.
Cinders Bound by Golden Crown by AJ Constantine. Rating: E Words: 121,707 Chapters: 24. Cinderella Alpha Omega AU. 18th century setting. Alpha Aziraphale, Omega Crowley. Summary: From the far end of the ballroom Prince Aziraphale’s eyes locked on Crowley as he raised his hand beseechingly. Crowley couldn’t have looked away from the prince if his life depended on it, although he was keenly aware of the increasing number of eyes joining the Prince’s to stare at him standing frozen on the dais. He suddenly knew with a clarity that brought a calm wash soothing over the jagged edges of his seething emotions that he was incapable of not answering the silent call of the bright Alpha below him. As he descended the dais, the Prince mirrored his steps, the sea of nobles between them parting as if by magic in the spreading silence of the ballroom. When they came close, the Prince gazed at Crowley’s face searchingly. “May I have this dance?”
Down a Hole Filled with Hope by ZehWulf. Rating: E Words: 23,307 Chapter: 1 Summary: Crowley's finally cutting and running from his abusive pack and relationship, and it's just his luck that he's too big now to fit all the way down the tunnel entrance to the old den he fashioned in his much more hopeful, naive youth. But imperfect or not, it's going to have to do for a hiding place until his pack gives up the chase; he just hopes there will still be time after they've moved on to find somewhere else to ride out his heat. AJ’s notes: Very, very spicy, and great world building a developing connection between the characters. (added to list 4/5/25)
A Fine Taste by LCwrites. Rating: E Words: 7,010 Chapters: 2. Alpha Crowley, Omega Aziraphale. Summary: When a guest repeatedly asks for a declaration of the ingredients used in his dishes, Chef Crowley is stumped. Things might become a bit clearer once he learns that famous critic A. Z. Fell has written a review of his restaurant. AJ:s notes: A delightful little treat of a story. The ABO story elements were more a byline of the universe rather than the main focus.
Heaven-scent by Mimsynims Rating: E Words: 6,025 Chapters:1 Summary: Aziraphale’s friend Tracy has talked him into attending a speed dating event, but the lack of interesting potential partners makes him question his decision. None of them strikes his fancy, nor do they smell right. Then, by chance, he meets his childhood friend Crowley—and suddenly all of his dating troubles make sense…
Just Married by @tawnyontumblr TawnyOwl95. Rated E. Chapters: 7. Words: 23,838 Alpha Crowley, Omega Aziraphale. Regency setting, falling in love after getting hastily married. Summary: Aziraphale East does not wish to get married. His mother has other ideas. After all, what other choice does a gently bred omega have? When Aziraphale persists in rejecting suitors, Mrs East takes matters into her own hands. However she has thoroughly underestimated how stubborn her youngest child can be. As does his new husband.
A Little Adjustment by @entanglednow entanglednow. Rating: E Words: 10,099 Chapters: 2. Omega Aziraphale. Regency-style setting. Summary: It's a grand event put on twice a year by the Lucifer estate, where everyone can throw social convention and expectation aside and adopt whichever manner they like. Omegas reaching a hand out to a masked stranger and requesting a dance. Alphas playing coy and demanding to be chased for the thrill of it. Betas high on the idea of being wanted so much it felt like a madness. The physical masks stay on, of course, it would be terribly bad manners to break the rules. AJ’s notes: The masquerade setting and world building is divine, as are the intimacies. The ending is so sweet I smile just thinking about it.
An Oddly Mesmerizing Display by @zehwulf ZehWulf Rating: E Words: 28,888 Chapters: 6. Alpha Aziraphale, Omega Crowley. Summary: Crowley's a sex-indifferent/favorable asexual omega fresh off suppressants and in the market for someone to help him through what promises to be a trial of a heat. His friend gets him tickets to the Spring Fling Heat Date Auction, where he can win a date with an eligible alpha (or omega). Naturally, a certain alpha with a regrettably memorable stage magic show and intriguing scent catches his eye…
An Omega's Guide to Surrender by @tawnyontumblr TawnyOwl95. Rating: E Words: 11,478 Alpha Aziraphale Omega Crowley. Chapters: 2 Summary: Crowley has not had a heat since he was a teenager. Far too busy, far too cautious. He's never really liked alphas much anyway. Well, except one. And that alpha has just made Crowley an offer he finds it rather hard to refuse.
Seared into Skin by Vagabond. Rating: E Words: 100,816 Chapters: 21. Alpha Aziraphale, Omega Crowley. Regency style setting. Summary: Anthony Crowley has avoided courtship like the devil, refusing to give into high society's idea that an Omega needs to be married by a certain age until his parents decide to remove his choice. He soon finds himself married off to a gentle, soft-spoken Alpha. Lessons and love ensue and Crowley realizes there's absolutely more to life than what he had been taught.
Time to Prey by @tawnyontumblr TawnyOwl95. Rated E. Chapters: 3. Words 8,788 This one isn't quite ABO, but I'm including it because it has a very similar theme. Aziraphale has a rabbit-like form, Crowley has a wolf-like. Summary: Aziraphale is an offering being presented at Wolf Hall for the Solstice hunt. That doesn't mean he has no choices at all. Aziraphale has his eye on the future. He knows what and who he wants, and isn't afraid to flirt for it. AJ's notes: the world building here is so intriguing and well done, and the handling of the character's emotions, instincts, and intimacies are just off the hook delightful.
Tribute by LCwrites. Rated E Words: 5,661 Chapters: 1 Summary: Used to receiving all sorts of ostentatious trinkets as tribute, Crowley is surprised when one of the lands bordering his grounds opts for something out of the ordinary. An omega who appears to be more than meets the eye. Intrigued by the unexpected and unasked-for gift, Crowley offers him a choice. AJ’s notes: Warlord Alpha Crowley, Omega tribute Aziraphale. Wonderful world building in a short amount of time, and lovely spice. This is a wonderful writer, go devour all of their works. (added to list 4/5/25)

In Want Of
In Want Of
by LCwrites
Intent on appropriating a book, Aziraphale gets into more of a pickle than he might have expected. How fortunate that Crowley and a very handy, dark closet are nearby. And what is a little blood-drinking between good friends? Nothing at all. Unless they get carried away.

All Explicit Fic Recs: Alphabetically Sorted M-Z
Note that most summaries in this list are shortened. Each link will lead to the fic's rec page where you can get full details, summaries, and links to read each story.

MatchMade! by amaruuk (37k, Explicit) Crowley tests a new dating app for an online publication. When his match dumps him for another man’s match, he and his fellow dumpee take a chance on each other.
Middle of Nowhere Tennessee by Worrynoodles (17k, Explicit) Thirty years ago, Azalea Easton is on a summer trip with her parents when she meets a freckled redhead named Crowley. They hit it off immediately and are joined at the hip for the rest of the summer. Now. Az has changed a lot. Has been through so much. For one thing, he’s a man. As he finds himself in the middle of nowhere Tennessee, looking to start over, he runs into an old friend. One he may have had much stronger feelings for than he thought.

Not for All My Little Words by mia_ugly, soft_october (8k, Explicit) Aziraphale has read every book in his shop at least once. He has reread some of his favored volumes dozens of times, has memorized whole great swaths of them. Of Fire and Falcons by CemeteryAngel725 (54k, Explicit) A Good Omens Human AU set on the American Renaissance faire circuit.
Of Size and other Matters by LCwrites (28k, Explicit) When Crowley gets a random text from an unknown number, he thinks it must be a joke at first. Turns out it’s by a rather amusing stranger who might have an interesting matter at hand.
Oh, be quiet by Sabotaged_Words (15k, Explicit) It is the happiest of times for Aziraphale: After years of hard work, he finally gets casted for his first major leading role in an elite theatre production. If only he didn’t have to work with Crowley, a notorious West End star, as famous for his arrogance as he is for his magnetic stage presence. (And for looking unfairly good in those indecently tight jeans.)
Oh, Maker by by voluptatiscausa (57k, Explicit) “The humans are strange and graceful as they explore the garden, explore themselves, explore each other. It’s the exact same process.”

The Larger Hope by NaroMoreau, summerofspock (8k, Explicit) It’s unfair. A joke of the universe, Crowley thinks, to make him the biggest bottom in the London area with a huge dollop of size queen to boot and then to turn around and give him eight inches of useless dick between his legs.
