Getting Comforted by your Wife

A/N: sorry I haven’t been working on much work has been kicking my ass but here’s some fluff and comfort form your fav female characters!

You quickly walked to your bed and plopped yourself down next to your wife who snickered and held you tightly. You had just come home from work, and it was clear that you had a terrible day. The stress was evident in your body as you laid motionless against her chest as you groaned and wanted to whine to her about your job and about your bitchy boss and co-workers who wouldn’t leave you alone, For the amount of years you and your wife have been together you two have learned to recognize the signs of when both of you needed each others support or just standing next to each other to calm each other down in situations. After the two women had embraced for a while, Your wife rubbed your back as an heavy sigh escaped past your lips.

You stared at the floor with an small frown tugging on your lips as your wife sighed cupping your face "What happened, sweetie?" She questioned. "Do you want to talk about it?" This lead you to take a deep breath and let it out slowly. "It's just...everything. It's too much," you muttered lowly as your wife hummed as she tightened her embrace and continued to rub your back. "It's okay, dear. We'll get through this together. Tell me what's bothering you, okay?" You were quiet for for a few moments as she tried to find the words to express what she was feeling. "I just feel like I'm not appreciated at work," she finally said before pausing and speaking again “and I feel like I’m not doing good enough in our relationship” She gently brushed your soft h/c hair away from covering your face and looked into your eyes. "Oh, honey, I'm sorry," she said. "I know how you always try your hardest, but it seems like nothing is ever enough for them. Is there anything I can do to help?"

Your lip quivered as you shook your head. "I just don't know how much longer I can take it. Everyday it's the same thing over and over," you uttered as your wife felt her heart break for you. Her wife, her sun, her world and wanted to do anything to make you feel better. So she did the thing that could comfort you that always surprisingly worked she hugged you tighter and kissed your forehead peppering kisses. Even though it wasn’t her love language she knew you needed it. "Shh, honey, it's alright," she said softly. "Let it all out."

Tears broke down your eyes as you plopped your head on her shoulder as you gripped onto her tightly sobbing “It's okay," she repeated, her voice full of love and care. "Let me take care of everything."

As she held you in her arms, she felt the stress and tension leave her own body, and she knew that you were safe and needed her. All that mattered was that she was there for you, no matter what had happened you would always tell her.
