So I'm playing Kiwami 2 rn and you know what pisses me off? The fact that they made Kiryu all worried about Sayama who's essentially a stranger to him at this point (not to mention a fucking COP at that) and made him pick her up when she got dizzy and shit because they wanted to set up romance between them or whatever WHEN in kiwami they literally added in that fucking pier scene where Majima gets shot in the fucking gut and pummeles down into Tokyo Bay and Kiryu just fucking LEAVES HIM THERE LIKE???!?!?!?!?!?!?! Were they afraid that Kiryu rescuing Majima and cradling him in his arms was gonna look gay as fuck???? Otherwise it just doesn't make sense (not to the story, not to Kiryu's character).

rgg needs feral women but at the same time i don't want them making more female characters. they simply don't deserve them. they gave us majima, imagine what they could do if they actually loved and cherish literally any girl/woman in the series instead of the old song and dance we're used to :/
Imagine what they could do... it really does suck because they have quite the knack for making such fun, loveable characters but time and again they just fall short with the girls. Someone needs to tell them they don't have to make the girls love interests and can give them distinct stories of their own, then they won't feel compelled to write them out of the plot... maybe.

today's scam: Aha water (again)
Was walking down pink street when I got stopped by a barker who promised that all my problems could be solved..., long story short, anyone remember Aha water from the 80s? Well, they rebranded as AHA water (subtle, I know) and they''re back at it. I stalked the people who make it and they literally collected puddle water from the champion district to put in the concoction. I didn't really feel well after drinking it, but the overall experience was good because they totally tapped into that nostalgia. Overall a really solid scam. Stay safe out there kamurocho.

The Value of Lies: Majima Boss Rush
Mild spoilers for Y0
Tumblr media
A new Majima event! They added a few new cards alongside it
Tumblr media
I had a moment of “huh, why’s Shimano from 1985 and not 1988? that’s too late for the YK2 flashback--oh NO............ during Majima’s torture in the Hole????”
anyways, Shimano is not in the event. sorry to the Shimano stans
Summary: 6 months into Majima’s stint as manager of the Grand, he’s still chasing after as much profit as he can and has scouted a new batch of hostesses. One of them seems lackluster, but there’s more to her than meets the eye...
[Half a year after Majima Goro had began working as the manager of the Cabaret Grand.] [The Grand's revenue had been steadily rising, but was still nowhere near the desired amount-- For the sake of further profits, Majima was aggressively scouting other clubs to refine his own business...]
<door opens, Majima walks in> Majima: ...Sawabe. How'd the new girls do today? (tl note: The name is 沢辺 which is pretty much just Sawabe or Sawanabe)
Tumblr media
Grand Employee Sawabe: ...They seem to be doing reasonably well, the customers who like inexperienced girls have been asking for them. Majima: I see. Any gals seem like a standout?
Tumblr media
Sawabe: I don't know about a standout, all of them have something special... except for one. Majima: ...Except one? What's goin' on with that?
Tumblr media
Sawabe: ...There was one who just didn't seem very motivated. Her name is Arisa. Sawabe: But it's my job to make girls like that useful, so I've been trying to provide lessons. Majima: That's true. I appreciate the help. With how the number of customers keep goin' up, I'll take all the help I can get. Majima: Unfortunately I still gotta be out of the club, so you're my only hope for trainin' the girls here. Sawabe: Please leave it to me. Sawabe: I know that people are the same as water, if left alone they'll settle in low places.
Tumblr media
Sawabe: I'll manage the new girls diligently, and make sure they're trained well. Majima: Please see that you do. Majima: ...And just to be sure, ya ain't gonna fall for some of the girls you're teaching and get handsy, right? Sawabe: ...Absolutely not. I could never allow my family to be on the street because I broke one of the club's rules.
[two weeks later...]
<the door opens, Majima enters> Majima: ...I'm back. How'd thing's go, and how were today's sales... huh? (tl note: TWO WEEKS DUDE???)
Tumblr media
Sawabe: Ah, welcome back, manager. (tl note: oh okay Majima didn't walk in on hanky panky. my bad. sorry for doubting you Sawabe) New Girl Arisa: ...Well, I'm going back to the floor. Majima: ...Was that Arisa you were just talking to? Sawabe: Yes sir. She just lost her parents. But she still comes to work and does her training because she didn't want to miss any days... Sawabe: So I hear her out when she has difficult feelings that she can't express to the customers. Majima: .........I see. Sawabe: At first I thought she just wasn't motivated at all... I even scolded her a few times before realizing this was the case--she just couldn't get into the right headspace with all that sadness. Majima: ...And ya believe that? Sawabe: Huh? O-Of course. There was nothing to indicate she was lying. Majima: Gotcha. Majima: Seein' as she's havin' such a hard time, I ought to talk with her. <out on the floor> Majima: ...Arisa-chan. Ya got a minute?
Tumblr media
Arisa: Yes? Can I help you with something? Majima: If you're makin' a play at Sawabe, it'd be best if ya stopped. Arisa: Huh? What are you talking about? I'm not making a play... Majima: ...Heh, I'm just sayin'. Majima: If ya have any troubles I'm also someone ya can come talk to. Arisa: Umm... Th-Thank you. If you'll excuse me. <she leaves> Majima: ............
[another 2 weeks later]
Sawabe: I'm sorry, Arisa. We can only meet up after everyone has already left. (tl note: I RETRACT MY PREVIOUS APOLOGY. SAWABE YOUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!)
Tumblr media
Arisa: No, don't apologize. I'm the one asking unreasonable things... I know we can't let anyone find out about this. Arisa: Besides, I would be happy being anywhere with you, Sawabe-san. Sawabe: Arisa... Arisa: ...Still... The manager isn't going to be back today, right? Sawabe: Yep, he said he was heading straight home. Arisa: So then... it's really just the two of us. Sawabe: Yeah, just us two. .....But, is it alright if I do a bit of work first? Sawabe: It's the last day of the month, so I need to get our sales money so it can be transferred to the bank tomorrow. (tl note: Sawabe if you flake to go fuck a hostess and Majima gets the shit beaten out of him I'm going to throttle you on his behalf) Arisa: Okay, I can wait 🎵 Sawabe: I'm sorry. I'll get it done quick. <she leaves> Sawabe: Now then just gotta get the money out of the safe... <he opens it> Sawabe: ...Hmm? Oh, Arisa must have needed to use the restroom. Now then... huh!!?? <a bunch of goons rush in> Arisa: Sawabe-san. Thanks so much for opening the safe 🎵  ....Now I'll be taking allll the money in it.
Tumblr media
Sawabe: Wh-... What the hell's going on? <a goon punches him> Sawabe: Guh... <he drops> Brawny Thug: That dumbass was a good mark for this... Have a nice nap. Arisa: Soooo cool 🎵 Thug's Pal: Hehe... Now we just stuff all this cash into the bag.
Tumblr media
???: ...I went to all the trouble of warning you. Arisa: !? Majima: I already told ya, "If you're makin' a play at Sawabe, it'd be best if ya stopped".
Tumblr media
Arisa: Wh-Why's the manager... Majima: I noticed ya gettin' awful cozy with Sawabe a little while ago. Majima: So I started doin' a little diggin' and figured out your plan. Had to be gettin' some thugs to rob the safe with ya--your parents aren't dead, your little brother doesn't exist, all ya've been doin' since ya got here is lying and cheatin' people outta money. Arisa: .......... Majima: And on top of trickin' Sawabe, here ya are tryin' to clean us out, which is a much bigger issue. Thug: Well... Even if all of that is true, how do you expect to get yourself out of this situation now? Thug: I don't see any cops around... Don't tell me you plan on handling this all by yourself? Majima: ...Of course I plan to. Thug: The hell? Are you mocking me! <goons rush in> Thug: That's just fine!! If you can do it, go ahead!!!!
Tumblr media
<EVENT HAPPENS>
Brawny Thug: N-... No way...
Tumblr media
<he collapses> Arisa: ...! <Majima walks over> Majima: ...We're done here.
Tumblr media
<he kneels down> Majima: Hey, can you stand? Sawabe: Ugh... S-Sorry... <they're both back to standing> Majima: Don't worry. I'll let ya off easy this time, since I knew what was happenin'. Think ya'll get tricked again? Sawabe: Th-Thank you so much...! Nothing like this will ever happen again...! Sawabe: But... I really didn't think Arisa would do something like this... Arisa: I'm sorry Sawabe-san, Majima-san... That thug was threatening me... that's why I... Sawabe: Eh...!? Majima: ...Are ya that stupid. Now I know ya ain't the kinda guy for this. On the other hand, you were the one that was trickin' that man, ain't ya? Sawabe: Eh... Wh-What do you mean? Arisa: ...Haa, I messed up. That guy said he was a former pro boxer, but he was way too weak.
Tumblr media
Sawabe: A-Arisa... you... Arisa: I guess I can't fool you. Are you going to hand me over to the police? Majima: Heh, that's surprisingly upstandin' of ya. Majima: However, I ain't handin' ya over to the cops. Arisa: ...Huh? Majima: There's no profit to be made in that. Majima: I'd rather have ya work at the Grand again. Arisa: Work at the Grand...? Majima: Exactly. Of course, if ya run off or play hooky then I'll throw ya to the cops without mercy.
Tumblr media
Majima: And you'll have to make yourself a diligent hostess and work hard--I'll forget about this whole thing if ya become a girl that earns more than ya were gonna steal from this safe. Arisa: ....... Majima: ...What d'ya say? Arisa: I will... return to working at the Grand. Majima: Heh, that settles it. Arisa: Sawabe-san... I'm sorry for deceiving you. I'll do my best from here on out. Sawabe: H-Hold on a minute, boss! I-Is that really okay? Even after all this... Majima: Mhm. Sawabe: I know I was the one who got scammed, so it might not mean much from me, but still... Arisa-chan has the worst sales out of the whole club.
Tumblr media
Sawabe: And then she tried to rob us, so, is it really okay to hire that girl...? Majima: It's true that her sales were bad, but that's cause she was half-assin' it. Majima: You experienced first hand just how good she is at this, didn't you? Sawabe: ........... Majima: To keep up a deception like that, ya need all sorts of skills. Majima: You're much warier than most, but she still got her fingers on your purse strings-- Majima: Seein' that you're a very doubting person, she used a lie about her parents' death to get ya sympathetic-- Majima: Two weeks or so of keepin' up that lie, playin' the part of the girl ya'd want, all with the goal of slowly foolin' ya-- Majima: Even with the risk of "If I lose my job my family will be out on the street" ya still caved. Majima: Gettin' someone ya just met's guard down, gettin' them to open their wallet, lying to find out more about them-- Majima: And of course, keepin' up the lie so the person you're talkin' with doesn't catch on... Majima: To me, those are the ideal skills for a hostess. Majima: If she approached our guests with the same diligence that she went after you, I have no doubt that Arisa would be our number one. Majima: In order to make 100 million yen in sales, even though there's a risk, I'm not going to let a profitable woman like her go. Sawabe: ...You may be right, boss. Majima: Whew... Well, I'll see ya tomorrow, but... try not to get scammed again, okay? Sawabe: ...Y-Yes sir.
Tumblr media
[Afterwards, when Arisa resumed working at the Grand, things went exactly as Majima predicted. With her ability to see through her customers and her skillful lies, she had one man after another captivated by her. Seeking to become the Grand's number one hostess, she has risen to the very top.]
<EVENT END>
Bonus stuff:
unrelated to this event they released a White Day Kiryu where he awkwardly gives you a return gift. I’m not even making fun of him that’s literally what the title of his card is
Tumblr media
Ichiban got one too where he bashfully gives you a senbei
Tumblr media
and then not a White Day card but still a guy giving a gift, we got a new KSR 1995 Nishiki
Tumblr media
something I didn’t notice until looking through Nishiki’s cards is that they give a date on Nishiki’s new hairdo
Tumblr media
ONE YEAR??? NISHIKI YOU ONLY HELD OUT A YEAR??????? it was Christmas in 1995 too so depending on when in 1996 this is it could be even less time. it does make it a kind of cartoonishly awful year for him to have experienced though, if you condense all of the flashbacks into that span. that’s rough buddy
enjoy him looking so sad and dejected (he failed to beat up Haruka)

Have you played Yakuza 6 yet? If so ya got any kazumaji head canons based off the events of the game?
I absolutely love your ideas for them and I am beyond upset that Majima was barley in the game. Or even mentioned that much.
They did the boi dirty in this game, I swear.
*clenches my ass hard enough to shit diamonds*
oh I have OPINIONS about 6 I'll tell you that but it is good fodder for the kazumaji agenda 👀 I'mma be kinda rambly in this but I promise it all ties together kdjfjkldfkldf
so we all know Kiryu goes off to find Haruka and because I'm a big fan of dadjima, I can only imagine Kiryu lets him know while he's stuck in jail and Majima's just like WHAT
so Kiryu does a lot of self reflection but acting upon it is another matter. I can see Majima chastising him, saying she ran away cuz that's all Kiryu ever does (part of him is still pissy about him leaving in y3) and she's never had a healthy role model other than the king of hypocrisy. Kiryu would go on about how it's just to protect people yada yada but Majima would be like my guy, you left a bunch of kids in the care of your daughter who should not be parenting for you. you refuse any and all help because you think you can do it all on your own. you left me with Daigo who you said I wouldn't be babysitting AND YET—
I just want Majima to absolutely rail into him about how self serving he's acted despite better intentions. like of course Haruka ran away, look how much pressure she was under, what she went through in the idol bizz (maybe I'm a loser but I did not like Haruka's part in y5 that shit icked me), what you (Kiryu) do every time you feel like a burden to people. how naïve it was to think any part of Kiryu's past would leave him behind just because he wanted it to. how his lone wolf thing impedes on everybody else. how in 5 he literally says he needs to stop running from his past and he does it anyway. this game FRUSTRATES ME rrhrrhhrhrr KIRYU FRUSTRATES ME ACK. but also I have a thing for Majima just being angry at him, to actually lash out and spew all those feelings of being left behind or being refused to let help because Kiryu's stubborn. how he let himself be used all those years to help Kiryu out just because he asked and now once again Kiryu's off on his own, never changing his tune about how he doesn't wanna rely on people. Majima's not perfect either and frankly he communicates like shit too but I just want that RAGE to get out and explore how Kiryu would hear him but never listen. makes it all the more tragic when he finds out Kiryu "died."
*tho I must note, as much as it does irritate me, 6 makes sense entirely for Kiryu's character lol. nothing he does in it surprises me in the slightest so while I'm not a fan of the story, it's pretty fitting for him since he's the downfall of his own story half the time. and it's not so simple as just saying Kiryu's to blame. he's constantly forced to deal with shit just as much as he wants to be left alone. he struggles and he tries hard I'll give him that. I don't think he's a bad person for what he aimed to do in 6 but he's not infallible either. and sometimes it's just par for the course. like how he makes the compromise at the end of the game to disappear so his family can be at peace all the while in his history, he's had major problems doing what he's told - never truly disappearing anyway, going about whatever's gonna happen in gaiden. could you imagine if Haruka caught wind that some resting bitch face motherfucker is beating the shit outta armies somewhere? could you imagine her finding out that Kiryu left again?
honestly I think his character is really interesting cuz of this. he has good intentions and I feel like to him there's some expectation that people should understand this, that people should accept his choices. I think it's fun to explore how others react to that - how it's in a way offensive, that Kiryu thinks he knows what's best and how to handle it as if he has all the power and say. how pissed people feel about him shoving them away for the sake of their safety, etc. I don't think he'd listen to Majima tbh but I think it's important that someone unafraid of Kiryu's dumbassery would lay it out how it is to him in a way that cuts, more so than Haruka, Date or like Akiyama could.
ANYWAY, Majima's mad at him lol but can't really do anything atm due to the surrounding circumstances. I like to think he's got some of the Majima family watching out for Kiryu and Haruka if they happened to see them. Nishida at least cuz ain't no one gonna arrest a cutie patootie like him. it's not much but it's a little peace of mind. Majima knows Kiryu's reckless as all hell so he's worried and doubly annoyed that Kiryu doesn't care (about his own safety or that other people are concerned for him).
so since Majima has a fat 5 minutes in the whole game, there's not much to say about his involvement overall (other than oopsie stuck in jail) but I've had some thoughts about what all the jimas³ are doing in the meantime.
all the jimas are grouped together because I said so even tho realistically they'd prolly be separated lol. Daigo and Saejima are handling things well enough but Majima's bouncing off the walls in boredom and nothing irks him more than being stuck in one spot while Kiryu's out probably getting hit over the head with a stop sign and refusing medical attention. Daigo's losing his mind but he can agree Kiryu's bullheaded and talking about that keeps Majima distracted. Saejima does his part in trying to get Majima's mind off things now that they have all the time in the world to catch up on whatever.
Tumblr media
time passes and I'm rewriting the part in 6 where they show up at the end cuz I live in a fantasy world.
Kiryu "dies" and suddenly the three of them are released early, no doubt knowing his death had something to do with it. Daigo gets Kiryu's letter and Majima makes some joke about Kiryu's literacy but a quick scan of the letter makes Daigo's face drop. he reads it and Majima doesn't think it's real. he doesn't know how to feel. even Saejima is in disbelief. but the letter is vague. it's conjecture written by Kiryu of his own death so there's a chance he's fine. Kiryu's fine, he's always fine. he's been shot and stabbed a million times, he's fine.
but it's not long till it's confirmed by Date. Daigo's skeptical cuz his inner punkass doesn't trust cops. Saejima's on the same page but Majima's in full denial whilst also believing it to be true. his reaction is immediate and violent. he wants something to be done, he wants revenge but Daigo wants to follow Kiryu's wish to avoid war. Majima's so outraged he frankly couldn't give less of a shit about Kiryu's wishes so it's up to Saejima to wrangle him back *insert a dramatic fight here.* Majima gets his ass beat and he's just a mess. things move fast though - the fate of the clan is up in the air and he just couldn't care. but Daigo needs him and for that he pulls it together, just barely.
fast forward to when the jimas go into hiding. they get set up in a lil safehouse via Nick Ogata. I like to see it as a basic bitch type of place, very out of the way, very ignorable but the inside is nice enough. they have to stay cooped up as much as possible and it drives Majima insane. he's fidgety, always pacing. Saejima tries to calm him down and it works for a time until Majima falls into another slump and repeats.
Tumblr media
they took a few things with them that they could, mostly small stuff, some clothes and the like. Majima brought along a few of Kiryu's things, namely some pocket cars and a shirt. he wears it often, being very against washing it. Daigo's too stressed to notice but Saejima watches Majima just break down into someone he doesn't know. he's tired, closed off, guilt ridden. Saejima starts to think this is who Majima was after getting out of the Hole. a shell of a person taking blame for things out of his control. losing the will to care for himself as some sort of self imposed punishment for not doing more. seething in silence in the powerlessness.
his beard grows scraggly, his hair is unkept and the circles under his eye grows darker everyday. his behavior mimics his Sotenbori days where everything was for Saejima, all he could think about was Saejima, how he failed him, how if he tried hard enough he could see him again. it's not the case with Kiryu though. he didn't even get to see the body himself.
he's always on his phone reliving memories through photos and conversations. he freaks out when anyone touches the pocket cars and eventually the shirt gets worn out. he's spiraling while the others look on, unsure how to deal with someone whose entire personality revolves around having a fake one.
Tumblr media
Saejima takes initiative. maybe he's seen Majima like this before or maybe he hasn't. doesn't matter because he gives Majima a bit of tough love, telling him to get a grip. telling him that Kiryu wouldn't want to see him like this and, under his breath, he needs him in better shape so they can beat the shit outta whoever was responsible. it's not easy of course. it takes Majima awhile to learn how to live again and frankly he doesn't want to talk about Kiryu but Saejima forces him to - to get comfortable with mentioning him, enjoying the memories they had. letting him know it's okay to be vulnerable. it's not a kind or pleasant recovery but it's there. it's helping.
and perhaps some time under supervision, he goes to see Haruka and meets Haruto for the first time. he tries to keep a strong façade for her but she can see right through him and gets one of those rare moments where he's just quiet. where he's real. she catches him up on things and it's a rough one for the both of them, especially since he has to keep the visit short. she doesn't bother asking him where he's going afterward but he promises to keep in touch and that he does. she sends him a lot of photos and videos of the family and he backseat-parents Yuta whenever possible. Haruka's never been a fan of always having Kiryu at arms length but this arrangement helps her deal with the long distance since there's effort on both ends to stay close.
Majima's not used to having others around to help him cope but he eases into it decently enough without the Tojo Clan on his shoulders. he even gets along better with Daigo who has time now to focus more on himself and the grunge within his soul. he's a silly lil dork and that charm reminds him of Kiryu but in a way that doesn't send him spiraling. he starts to see all reminders of Kiryu in a more hopeful light, one that brings back his energy. for most of their home confinement, Majima wouldn't even go out as Goromi since half his confidence came from Kiryu's support. but now and then, with Saejima and Daigo backing him, he can tiptoe a bit back into his fav dresses, ones that Kiryu gave him, ones that hurt to put on because of the baggage they carry. he doesn't even have his wigs anymore so he assembles what he can, how he can into something he knows Kiryu would have called pretty regardless. it stills hurts but it helps.
Tumblr media
but, he'll always dip back into the pain of it all. missing intimacy and things taken for granted. he regrets his last words with Kiryu were criticisms knowing he's not perfect himself. maybe he's faced with realizations that he can't survive without certain people, that his attachment issues are brought to the forefront for everyone to see. it's ugly and embarrassing and for the first time in a long time he feels very seen. death's always been a reality for him and he's never cared much for it in regards to himself but losing someone so close, so suddenly? without closure or goodbyes? he's forced to deal with the frailty and mortality of someone he thought was invincible.
and it scares him.

playing kiwami 1 and man. all jokes about majima everywhere aside, it means Something to me that after kiryu gets out of prison the first and only person to go out of his way to find and see kiryu after 10 years is majima despite the fact that being in the tojo clan and fraternizing with kazuma kiryu at that point is basically a sin worthy of god knows what punishment (and in broad daylight at that). and all just because, in his own weird way, he missed him a lot.

The murmuring sounds of upbeat music and the chattering of your co-workers could be heard from outside of the dressing room. As you were told by your boss, this evening there were special guests and they would be renting out the club for the rest of the evening. From the tone of your boss, he sounded skittish. But why?
As you were finishing your makeup touchups, your coworker stuck her head through the door.
"Y/N-chan the guests are here!"
"Here already?" You turn your head to the clock on the wall. "They're not supposed to be here for another twenty minutes."
She turns her head back around and steps into the dressing room, closing the door behind her. "Well from what I heard, some of the guests were eager to come sooner."
"How many are there?" You stand from the dressing table and straighten out your outfit.
The coworker thinks to herself briefly. "Only a few, but from the looks of them, they don't look like our typical clients." Her voice is now in a whisper.
You raise a brow. "Older me-"
"Yakuza." She cuts you off.
"What business do they have coming here?"
"I guess they wanted to come and check it out, but who knows. But we really shouldn't keep them waiting." She grabs your wrist and guides you out of the dressing room and into the lobby.
As you and your co-worker step out of the dressing room, your boss approaches you.
"Y/N-san you've been requested by Majima-san. He's the um... former patriarch." He shudders. "You are one of my best girls, so please don't let me down." He escorts you to the corner of the club where you will be accompanying your client.
Your boss gave you a nervous grin and a thumbs up to wish you luck before leaving you alone.
"Good evening, Majima-san." You bow. "I hope I wasn't keeping you waiting for long." You sit next to him.
From the look on his face he was astounded by your attire. Compared to some of your co-workers, you went all out on looking your best, however as a platinum hostess, it was required.
He clears his throat and gives you a smile. "You came right on time, although," He swings his arm behind you around the back of the booth chair. "I wouldn't have minded one bit waiting longer to know that I was gonna get a gal like ya."
You giggle at his compliment.
From the way he displays himself from his men, he had no problem showing off who he was. He was definitely a Yakuza affiliated from the way his tattoo was peeking out of his snakeskin blazer, and you were already catching yourself staring his exposed torso. Aside from the eyepatch covering part of his face, you had to admit you were catching feelings.
"Shall I get you something to drink?" You ask with a smile.
"Sounds good to me. What's the most recommended drink here?"
"I'm not quite sure, but if it were to be a favorite, I'd say champagne."
The man beams. "Champagne it is then."
You signal the waiter to bring you the bottle of champagne. The waiter nods bringing you the bottle shortly after.
"I have to say..." He gazes your fitting outfit. "You sure know how to make a fella fall fer ya." He compliments. "I asked for the best hostess, but your boss didn't give me your name."
"I apologize for, Majima-san. It's Y/N."
He takes a fresh cigarette from his carton and offers you one.
You took the cigarette from his fingertips. Smoking was something you didn't do as much, but knowing how addicting it can be, you were careful not to do it as often. Majima raised the lighter in front of you, igniting yours before his.
Majima takes a long drag of his cigarette bud before speaking again.
"Y/N-san." He let the name roll off of his tongue. "That's a pretty name. Ya don't hear as many names like yours around here." His eyes survey the room making sure that his subordinates are in line.
He looks back at your nervous demeanor with an almost finished cigarette. It must have been your first time dealing with the Yakuza in a hostess club.
A grin appears on his lips.
"Are ya always this nervous around good-lookin' men? Or is it ones in the dark suits that's making ya feel bothered?" He teases leaning into you a bit. His gloved fingertips purposely brushing your shoulder.
A feeling of warmth rose to your cheeks from Majima's question.
"It's just that it's unusual for our boss to arrange something like this." You grin awkwardly. "But you also are very... handsome."
He takes another drag. "Are ya saying that because it's yer job or do ya really mean it?" He leans in closer. His arm now resting on your shoulder.
Your heart was starting to pound the more he invaded your space. You could tell that he was getting pleasure out of making you fluster.
The tension between the two of you was overbearing. It felt wrong, but deep down you were secretly enjoying the physical touch.
After a few seconds of staring at him so dumbfounded he breaks into a contagious laugh. "I'm just poking at ya!" He rolls his head back as he pats your shoulder.
Majima's strange behavior disconcerts you. In your mind, it seemed a bit childish for a patriarch to act this way, but who's to judge. He was letting loose, and it was probably something he rarely ever has a chance to do, considering his job includes committing illicit activity.
"I didn't mean to put ya on the spot, but," He slowly looks back at you with a broad smile. "I am flattered to receive a compliment by a girl like ya." He takes one last drag and extinguishes it on the ash tray.
Majima then reaches for the bottle on the table, pouring a glass of champagne, handing it to you. "So, tell me something about yourself. What made you want to work as a hostess?" He pours himself a glass and leans back into the booth, spreading his legs in a relaxed manner.
You took swig from your glass; the acidic liquid hitting your tongue followed by the sweet tasting flavors of citrus, peaches, and a hint of cherry. The alcohol soothed your anxiety, but as much as you wanted to get seconds, you had to be careful not to consume so much on the job despite the flavor already getting you hooked.
"I used to live in a small town, but I moved here some time ago for better job opportunities and for a better future."
Majima raises his brows with interest. "You're new here in this town, huh? What do ya think of it so far?" He scoots closer to you.
"Well, I haven't done much of exploring of the town yet since I've been busy working. But the people here are very friendly."
"I can't believe you hadn't had the opportunity! Say, if ya ever wanna find a place to dine at," He points to himself. "I'm your guy to give ya to point ya to the right restaurant."
"Thank you. I'll be needing some suggestions some time when I go out to eat." You take another sip from your glass.
"So, what brings you to our club?" You ask.
Majima's contented expression fades. He downs the remaining glass of champagne and sets it on the table before speaking. "Considering you've lived here long enough, I'm sure you know what kind of person I am." His gaze making the butterflies in your stomach flutter.
"A Yakuza, right?"
He nods. "Since we've found out the place has opened recently, my boys and I had to come by and check it out. It's nice to know who's running the business in our territory." He looks around the room admiring the atmosphere of the club. "And so far, I love what yer boss done to the place."
You smile and nod in agreement. "He's put a lot of effort into making his business successful."
The facial hair exceeding outwards from his goatee made his jawline more accentuated and handsome. From the way his body relaxes against the booth chair, the canvas from his blazer exposes more of his muscled torso. You couldn't help but stare with such delight.
The erotic thoughts began to plague your mind the longer you stare. You wonder what it would feel like to run your hands up to his chest, feeling every scar on him. How it would feel wonderful to trace your hands along his tattooed skin.
"So, how long have ya been a hostess?" He turns his head.
"A few years now. I used to work for a corporate, but it was exhausting. But one day a friend of mine reached out to me about a hostess club that was hiring, and I haven't had second thoughts since."
"I can understand wanting to get out of the rat race. Do you have any plans in the future or are ya comfortable where you're at?"
"I've always wanted to start a business of my own. So in a couple of years, I'll have enough money to go back to college."
"An entrepreneur, huh? You have some good ambitions. I like that about ya. A go-getter!"
"Thank you. You're the first person that I can talk about goals or plans without dozing off." You laugh.
Then you lean towards him with one hand supporting the rest of your body. "I have to say out of all the clients I've had, you're the most interesting one."
"What makes you think I'm interesting?"
"It's your outfit for one. I've never had a client who's dressed differently. All of my past clients were older businessmen, so it's nice to see a bit of change."
"You really like my style?" He chuckles. "I have gotten stares from the way I dress. Yer the first person that's complimented my outfit."
"And your personality... I like it."
There were so many more compliments you wanted to spill out of your mouth and how much you wanted to profess your feelings to him, but you held your tongue.
Majima raises a brow. He was already getting a kick out of you serving up compliments to him. "What's with all the compliments?" He chuckles. "I ain't ever heard a woman pour her heart out to a man before."
The temperature of your body grew by his comment. You took one last swig from your glass to calm your anxiety and hoped it would relax you for the rest of the session.
"I know we just met this evening, but there's something about you that... attracts me." You fold your now clammy hands into your lap.
His face softens. The affinity in your words is starting to become obvious to Majima. He wanted more.
"Ain't you the sweetest hostess." He coos. "I guess it's my charm that's gettin' ya worked up."
You didn't realize his hand was accidentally laying on top of yours, lightly brushing the back of it with his thumb. He leans in a bit closer to hold your chin with his free hand. Your heart was pounding again. A man you've met for the first time, a high-ranking Yakuza, is making you fall hard for him.
Something inside you wanted to take things a bit further. Confidently, you moved you hand slowly up Majima's thigh making his breathing hitch.
Those innocent eyes, soft pastel lips, the dress that hugged your body close to your skin allowing it to flaunt your curves. And the amount of skin you were displaying from your legs was starting to make him feral.
"You really know how to get a man going." His voice dips low and seductive. His hand then moves from your chin to cup your cheek.
Something about his voice is driving you even more aroused, and his touch is only fueling it more.
As your hand caresses upwards towards his crotch the tight, twitching feeling in between his thighs is starting to get to him.
He wanted to run his hand up underneath your dress to get an arousing reaction out of you. He wanted you to quietly whimper out his name the further his hand went inwards into your thighs, but he knew better not to.
Instead, his gloved fingers teasingly tip-toes along your exposed thigh sending sparks of lust within you.
If nobody was present in the club, you'd let him have his way with you.
His lips are now close to yours. You could smell the combination of the faint smell of tobacco and the sweet tasting champagne that lingered on his tongue.
His goatee tickles your cheek as he leans into your ear.
"As much as I'd love to roam my hands underneath that dress of yours, I'd like to get to know more about ya." His voice vibrates in your ear.
You could feel him grinning ear to ear. He slowly pulls away with his lips purposefully brushing your cheek. The hand that once laid on top of yours was brought to his lips to place a kiss.
"I may be a Yakuza, but I know better to not take a woman home on the first night. It wouldn't be polite of me." He lowers your hand.
He was right. It wouldn't be the polite thing to do, especially it being the first time the two of you have met. But it was hard to push the provocative thoughts of yours in the back of your head.
He leans back into the booth chair, draping an arm over your shoulder and bringing you close into his embrace.
"I have to say with you in this club, you make it twice as good."
You lean your head on his shoulder and your hand finds its way back on his thigh. "I'm glad you've had a great experience, Majima-san. Or should I say Majima-chan." You laugh.
He smiles at your comment.
"Since you mentioned about opening up a business, I can help ya out."
"That'd be great..."

Will we ever get more high school AU I've become obsessed with it 😍
Oh definitely yes! I'm glad you're enjoying the School AU as much as I am, dear anonymous! 💕
A few days ago I was even sketching how some other characters may look in the School AU like, Daigo, Ryuji, Akiyama and Hana lol
Tumblr media
And It's also funny because last night I was remembering the camping trips from my school days for some reason, and then I started thinking how a camping trip with Kiryu, Majima and other Yakuza characters (their classmates) from the School AU would go xD The bus trip, forest hiking, flag hunting, cooking, playing soccer, treasure hunting in the dark, the boys and girls' cabins, bonfire,... Ohh the possibilities are endless! So much chaos would ensue sjkdsdfskhsd Imagine Kiryu's anxiety, anticipating of living with Majima in an isolated place for 3 whole days? xD And Majima would never go on a school camping trip willingly, but the thought of being able to get more chances to provoke Kiryu-chan and maybe spend some alone time with him in the woods changed his mind on the spot jhdfjksdhfds
Anyway, I don't have any concrete idea for the school AU for now but I'll let those thoughts cook and something eventually will come up! I also always accept suggestions from you guys because two or more people brainroting together are better than one, am I right?

I don't fault Majima for encouraging Makoto's doctor to admit his feelings at all. It makes sense from his warped point of view, a doctor is safe and normal and well off enough to give her a comfortable life, someone nothing like Majima- but that does not stop me from fucking hating that aspect of the story. Like Makoto got no say. She was horrifically traumatised and in such a vulberable position and then her doctor, who likely knows all her history goes and "falls in love" with her like... Fuck Off. That is unethical as shit and the power imbalance is immeasurable. i want that guys kneecaps caved in. Fuck you Tateyama.
