Designed to be used with any deck, Red Tarot is a radical praxis and decolonized oracle that moves beyond self-help and divination to reclaim tarot for liberation, self-determination, and collective healing. Red Tarot speaks to anyone othered for their identity or ways of being or thinking—LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC folks in particular—presenting the tarot as a radical epistemology that shifts the authority of knowing into the hands of the people themselves. Author Christopher Marmolejo frames literacy as key to liberation, and explores an understanding of tarot as critical literacy. Situating tarot imagery within cosmologies outside the Hellenistic frame—Death as interpreted through the lens of Hindu goddess Chhinnamasta, the High Priestess through Aztec goddess Coyolxauhqui—Marmolejo’s Red Tarot is a profound act of native reclamation and liberation. Each card’s interpretation is further bolstered by the teachings of Toni Morrison, bell hooks, Paulo Freire, José Esteban Muñoz, and others, in an offering that integrates intersectional wisdom with the author’s divination practice—and reveals tarot as an essential language for liberation.

New deck new deck! Had my eyes on it for a while and it came back into print just in time for Pride Month!

This is the Numinous Tarot Deck!

And then I went out of town and didn't unbox it until today BUT we all decided July was Wrath, right?

So for the remainder of June (Pride) and July (Wrath), if you are LGBTQIA2S+, MOGAI, OR QUEER, come into my inbox and ask for a FREE 1-card reading! Aces count, non-binary people count, everybody counts! (except for TERFS and White Supremacists, y'all can GTFO)

You don't need to tell me what you are, you can just say "hi I'm lgbt" or something, and you can request private readings or send your question as a message or anonymously.

I do request that allies sit this one out. I do a limited number of regular free readings each month, so you can inquire about those.

My normal free reading rules are in place (so go read that other post, I reblogged it recently) which means 1 card per person per month. This is all on the honor system but don't forget I'm a witch, y'all. If I feel like your vibe is off I will check with the cards before answering your question. And I reserve the right to refuse anyone any question for my own reasons. Also I have a lot of other shit going on, so these will be done when I have the spare time - don't expect an immediate response, it might be a couple days.
