La Miura SVR, dove la “R” sta per “racing”, rappresenta l’evoluzione in vettura da corsa della famosa Jota realizzata dallo storico collaudatore di Lamborghini, Bob Wallace. Dopo la perdita della Jota di Wallace in un incidente, Automobili Lamborghini ha costruito alcuni altri esemplari di Miura SVJ e solamente una SVR. Queste fanno parte delle sole 763 Lamborghini Miura prodotte tra il 1966 e il 1972.

La Miura con telaio numero #3781, motore numero 2511 e carrozzeria 383, nata come S di colore Verde Miura e interni neri, era stata consegnata in Italia alla concessionaria Lamborauto di Torino il 30 Novembre 1968, dopo essere stata esposta al 50° Salone dell’Automobile di Torino. Nel 1974 è stata acquistata dal suo nono proprietario, il quale l’ha riportata a Sant’Agata Bolognese per farla trasformare in SVR. Nel 1976, dopo 18 mesi di lavoro, la SVR è stata venduta in Giappone, dove è piaciuta talmente tanto da ispirare i disegnatori del cartone animato giapponese “La volpe da corsa”. Il successo della vettura è stato ulteriormente suggellato quando il produttore di modellini Kyosho l’ha utilizzata per la realizzazione del suo modello in scala 1:18. Le forme e i colori di questa SVR unica sono così diventati i più riprodotti e conosciuti al mondo, e il modellino è entrato nella leggenda del collezionismo.

La scheda di produzione originaria ha aiutato poco, mentre ha fatto fede la specifica delle trasformazioni effettuate nel 1974. Il restauro totale svolto dal Polo Storico è stato alquanto impegnativo, visto che la vettura era arrivata a Sant’Agata Bolognese smontata, anche se accompagnata dalle sue parti, e rimaneggiata in svariati punti. Rispetto alle specifiche originarie, durante il restauro, su espressa richiesta del cliente, sono state aggiunte le cinture di sicurezza a 4 punti, sedili più conformati e un roll-bar smontabile, al fine di migliorare la sicurezza durante le previste esibizioni in pista”.

Covid Relief Funds Fueled a High-Performance Shopping Spree, Prosecutors Say A man in California who received more than $5 million in Payment Protection Program loans intended to help struggling businesses during the coronavirus pandemic was arrested on Friday on federal bank fraud and other charges after he used the money to buy a Lamborghini and other luxury cars, federal prosecutors said. The man, Mustafa Qadiri, 38, of Irvine, was indicted by a federal grand jury on four counts of bank fraud, four counts of wire fraud, one count of aggravated identity theft and six counts of money laundering, the U.S. attorney in the Central District of California announced. Federal prosecutors said Mr. Qadiri’s efforts to obtain federal loans started in late May 2020 and netted him nearly $5.1 million by early June. Mr. Qadiri is accused of using that money to go on a spending spree that included buying a Ferrari, a Lamborghini and a Bentley and paying for “lavish vacations,” all of which are prohibited under the Payment Protection Program, prosecutors said. Online court records did not identify a lawyer for Mr. Qadiri, and efforts to reach him by telephone and email on Sunday evening were not successful. Mr. Qadiri submitted applications to three different banks for Covid-19 relief funds in order to help four companies based in California that, in fact, were not in operation, prosecutors said. In addition to submitting fraudulent company information and “altered bank account records,” Mr. Qadiri is also accused of using someone else’s name, Social Security number and signature on the applications, according to a statement from prosecutors. Some of Mr. Qadiri’s assets have already been seized, prosecutors said. Federal agents confiscated a 2011 Ferrari 458 Italia that was registered to All American Capital Holdings, one of the companies listed on Mr. Qadiri’s P.P.P. loan applications, they said. A 2018 Lamborghini Aventador S, registered to the same company, was also seized, they said. The 2011 Ferrari 458 Italia can sell for more than $100,000, according to Cars.com, which says in a review that the vehicle “can perform as well as strain gawkers’ necks.” It has a V-8 engine and 570 horsepower and can go from zero to 62 miles per hour in 3.4 seconds, “which is about as fast as anyone can expect to go in a car today that doesn’t shoot flames out the back,” the review says. In July, a man in Florida who received nearly $4 million was arrested on bank fraud and other charges after buying a blue Lamborghini for $318,497, federal prosecutors said. In August, a man in Texas who received more than $1.6 million from the same federal program was arrested on bank fraud and other charges after buying, among other things, a 2019 Lamborghini Urus, for $233,337.60, prosecutors said. In February, the Florida man, David T. Hines, pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud, which carries a maximum punishment of up to 20 years in prison. He is awaiting sentencing. Ferruccio Lamborghini adalah seorang pemilik dan pembuat perusahaan mobil sport mewah Lamborghini, Ferruccio lahir pada 28 april 1916. Pada saat muda ia tertarik dengan mesin pertanian bukan gaya hidup pertanian, dia mempelajari tekniknya di Fratteli Taddia. Dimana itu adalah lembaga pendidikan didekat bologna, ia direkrut angkatan udara italia pada tahun 1940 yang menjabat sebagai teknisi di daerah Rhodes.

Dia menikah tapi pada saat meharikan anak pertamanya istrinya tidak selamat dan meninggal dunia. Setelah perang Ferrucio membuka Bengkel di kota Cento. Di bengkelnya sendiri ia memodifikasi sebuah fiat topolino yang merupakan mobil milik dia sendiri. di tahun 1958 Ferrucio membeli sebuah Ferrari 250GT, namun menurut dia mesin dari mobil tersebut terlalu berisik terutama di bagian Gearbox yang terasa sangat kasar.

Ferrucio mengadukan keluhannya langsung Kepada Enzo Ferrari yang merupakan pendiri perusahaan mobil tersebut, namun Enzo menolak mendengarakan keluhannya dan malah menyuruh Ferrucio berjalan kaki saja jika tidak suka dengan mobil buatannya. Karena kecewa dilakukan seperti itu Ferrucio tergerak untuk membuat enzo Ferrari tahu bagaimana cara membuat mobil sport yang baik.

Akhirnya Ferrucio resmi membuat perusahaan automobile Lamborghini dan memperlihatkan konsep kendaraannya di Turin Motorshow,konsep mobil yang diperlihatkan adalah 350 GTV dan menjadi legenda yang akhirnya orang orang mengenalnya dengan true 12-cylinder masterpiece, di tahun 1964 akhirnya rilis Lamborghini 350GT.

Antusiasme Lamborghini yang memikat membuat para mekanik dan insinyurnya menghasilkan mobil yang melegenda, serta selalu mengejutkan dunia di setiap perilisannya. Namun pada tahun1993 ferrucio wafat di kediamannya pada usia 76 tahun, untuk memberikan penghormatan perusahaan yang ia miliki merilis mobil yang bernama Centenario yang dirilis di ulang tahun ferruicio ke 100.

Delhi High Court has passed an interim injunction against Exotic Mile, an audio-gadgets business firm, for violating the registered trademark “boAt” of Imagine Marketing Pvt. Ltd. Imagine Marketing is the proprietor of boAt, a well know electronic products supplier in India. It contended that Exotic Mile had dishonestly adopted the trademark “BOULT”, which is phonetically and deceptively similar to “boAt”. Further, it alleged that the usage of the tagline ‘UNPLUG YOURSELF’ by Exotic Mile was confusingly similar to its tagline ‘PLUG INTO NIRVANA’. The Court while considering the presence of both companies one-commerce platforms,passed an interim injunction restraining Exotic Mile from using the trademark “BOULT” as well as the tagline ‘UNPLUG YOURSELF’.

Brexit Not to Affect the UK Trademark System for Now

During the recent ratification of the ‘Withdrawal Agreement’ between the United Kingdom and the European Union, the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) of the UK has clarified that there will be no disruption to IPO services or changes to the UK IP system during the transition period (1st February, 2020 till 31st December, 2020). Accordingly, the UK will remain part of the EU trademark system and the UK legal representatives will continue to have the right to represent clients before the EU IPO. The International registrations for trademarks and designs designating the European Union via the Madrid and Hague systems will also continue to extend to the UK. The IPO has further informed that the businesses, organisations or individuals, that have applications for a EU trademark which will have a period of nine months from the end of the transition period to apply in the UK for the same protections.

‘Mambacita’ Trademark Filed by Kobe Bryant Weeks Before Death

Kobe Bryant, the legendary basketball player, had filed a trademark application for the word mark “Mambacita” at the United States Patents and Trademarks Office, just weeks before his and his daughter’s death in a tragic helicopter crash in California. DOMAIN NAME DISPUTE UPDATE

Lamborghini Stops Fraudulent Domain from Impersonating It

Automobili Lamborghini, the popular Italian luxury sports car manufacturer, had filed a complaint with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center against jjoest, based in the US. Lamborghini alleged that the domain name “lamborghlni.com”, which is similar to its domain name “lamborghini.com”, was connected to a fraudulent email scheme by jjoest.  The scheme used the mark and the email address to impersonate an employee of Lamborghini to obtain  misdirected payments. The Administrative Panel headed by Nicholas Weston was convinced that the disputed domain was confusingly similar and jjoest used the domain name in bad faith. Thus, the Panel ordered the transfer of the disputed domain name to Lamborghini.

Automobili Lamborghini reveals the new Huracán EVO Rear-Wheel Drive Spyder virtually, using for the first time Augmented Reality (AR) on its official website lamborghini.com. The new V10 model provides drivers with an open-air celebration of lightweight engineering, with rear-wheel drive and a specially tuned Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS). Roof up or down, daily driving and high-performance fun are accompanied by the inimitable sound of the V10 aspirated power plant, delivering the same 610 hp (449 kW) and 560 Nm of torque as the coupé version. With a 0-100 km/h acceleration of just 3,5 seconds and a top speed of 324 km/h, like its coupé stablemate the Spyder is an instinctive driver’s car, delivering a fun-to-drive experience via hardware rather than software. The Huracán EVO RWD Spyder’s design optimizes the integration and function of the extremely lightweight soft top. The Spyder is a true Lamborghini with roof open and closed, sporting inimitable lines from every profile that confirm it is as dynamic in both looks and performance whether roof on or off. The Spyder’s exterior lines ensure drag reduction and downforce matches that of the coupé without requiring additional aerodynamic appendages, while enhancing the rear-wheel drive car’s balance and dynamism with roof both up and down. The driver is perfectly in touch with Lamborghini’s engineering heritage, experiencing the feedback and engagement from the set-up of a rear-wheel drive car where electronic intrusion is minimized, while enjoying the sense of freedom and spirit of life that only open-top driving provides.” Driving fun in the open air The Huracán EVO RWD Spyder is specially engineered as an instinctive driver’s car, still producing top performance figures but focused on the pilot’s skills and the set-up of the rear-wheel drive powertrain, providing unfiltered physical feedback and maximum engagement. The specially tuned P-TCS traction control system is designed for adrenalin-producing performance in all conditions, consistently delivering torque and assuring traction even as the Spyder is realigning after sharp cornering or drifting. Especially with the roof down, the driver’s senses are further aroused by the sound of the V10 aspirated engine responding to the throttle during maneuvers. The Huracán EVO RWD Spyder’s aluminum and thermoplastic resin body sits on a lightweight hybrid chassis in aluminum and carbon fiber, with a dry weight of 1,509 kg and a weight-to-power ratio of 2.47 kg/hp. Front/rear weight distribution of 40/60, with double wishbone suspension with overlapped quadrilaterals and passive shock absorbers, providing optimized driver feedback. Ventilated and cross-drilled steel brakes are fitted to 19” Kari rims with specially-developed Pirelli P Zero tires, with optional 20” rims and carbon ceramic brakes. Designed for life The Spyder’s soft-top roof stows within 17 seconds under the rear hood, even while driving up to a speed of 50 km/h (31 mph). In a range of color options, the soft-top perfectly complements the rear-wheel drive car’s body lines and color options, while ensuring a quiet cockpit for easy conversation and entertainment with roof up or down. With soft top both up and down the driver can also electronically open the rear window, which functions as a windshield when up and highlights the V10 engine’s unique sound when down.
