MGB in the World

Public talks and press mentions continue apace as the Green Book travel guides continue to attract a wide audience, especially during Black History Month. Last month I was invited to give a talk on the project at UVA’s Center for Cultural Landscapes to a packed room of engaged faculty, staff, and students. On March 21, I’ll be introducing another Green Book-related project at a lecture for the Latrobe Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians, in Washington, DC. In addition to spreading the work, public talks help me connect with other historians, technologists, and people who have knowledge about Green Book sites or something to contribute to the project. I always get interesting questions and I’ll be doing an FAQ page soon based on some of the most popular ones.
