How widespread are the odonii? Do they only live in the capital or does every town have its own temple?
The cult center is in the city Wardin, this is where THE temple to Odomache is, where the Odomache permanently resides, and where the majority of the priesthood in general is based. The priesthood is overwhelmingly centered in this capital and the vast majority of its public rites occur here, but does have branches throughout the state.
There's another major temple in Odkoto which has almost as many members and has a pretty major sway on local government (and has been in a cold war with some of the merchant guilds that Also have a pretty major sway on local government, this is where most of the 'assassinations suspected to have been ordered by Odonii' have taken place). Odkoto was the departure point for the ultimately failed colonization of Finnerich and the currently successful colonization of the Lleniwir island, and also gets the 'most frequently besieged and sacked Wardi city in history' award. So concepts of Sovereignty and Dominion and Military Might are especially important there on a cultural level and God-As-Odomache is effectively a patron deity(-form) of the city. The temple complex there is massive (built in part on remains of very old Imperial Burri temples) and holds the biggest semi-domesticated lion population. One holiday public rite to Odomache is performed only here.
Every other provincial capital has at least A temple and some local Odonii, which is because (aside from political and pragmatic reasons) their presence is considered to be a metaphysical bastion for the health of the state and all its major divisions of government. Every local jurisdiction outside of Wardin is run by an internally appointed high priestess, selected out of the body of 'senior priestesses' (the Odomache effectively fills this role in the Wardin cult center). Temples to Odomache are near-exclusively a mega-urban thing (with a the exception of a small temple in Lobera a ways down the Kannetod river, which is part of the state cult/priesthood but is the assimilated remnants of an unrelated cult and kinda still doing their own thing to some extent).
The CULT to Odomache is wider than the Odonii and there are other centers of practice and worship (though they still tend to be pretty urban, and small). The most notable is the outdoor temple to Odomache Ebada ('patriarch/father Odomache') in Ephennos, in which the Odomache godform is venerated specifically in Its aspect as a guardian/father to the collective people. It's maintained by a small lesser priesthood of exclusively men and a bunch of lay followers, though the Odonii do have a hand in this (the Ephenni high priestess directs public rites here on a yearly local holiday).
Most of the priesthoods and major temples in general are an urban phenomena and people living far from major cities generally want to be able to participate in their own religion. So you'll won't find many Temples but will find community-made shrines in many villages/towns (though the agricultural Faces (Ganmache Mitlamache Anaemache Inyamache) are typically the focus of these). This is generally considered acceptable as long as it's an extension of lay practice and no one involved is 'playing priest' and attempting rites they shouldn't. These shrines are usually just places to their communities perform more focused veneration, celebrate holidays, and leave offerings to aspects of God.
The villages on the pilgrimage route between the city Wardin and the Sons of Creation tend to have the most lavish community shrines to Odomache. This is because some Odonii and usually the Odomache are usually accompanying the pilgrimage, and will often oblige their hosts with blessings of their shrines or gifts of cult objects (statuettes, amulets, etc). The village Waenatlan Hehaë on the northern Briya river has a particularly lavish and proudly kept shrine. When they hosted the inner pilgrimage party 21 years ago, the community provided them a feast and slaughtered two oxen and three horses and several ducks for the occasion. The Odomache in attendance declared that they should be gifted with a real kagnoma odo headdress (helmet with a full sacrificial temple lion pelt, this is considered a holy object) for their shrine in return for their exceptional generosity as hosts, and lay pilgrims have been leaving an abundance of little handmade statues and the like for the village shrine ever since. (This sort of thing is typical under normal new year pilgrimage conditions, its expected that host villages Act like hosts and provide for their guests within reason and capability, and they can usually expect (but should NEVER verbalize or demand) to be gifted to in return).

I genuinely love how terrible Tuvok is as a leader. The two times he's in charge the people under his command try to mutiny against him. Chakotay has to threaten to beat people up for the Maquis to go back to his lessons and the only reason Harry Kim didn't start a mutiny is because Kes got him to change his mind about going back to get the captain. He was literally like one second away from being forced to walk the metaphorical plank.

The theme of him being too rigid to lead a wide variety of people is so interesting. I assume that as a security head it's easier because you're supposed to be able to unemotionally carry out tasks...there's a certain personality I'm sure that gravitates towards that line of work and perhaps that personality is the kind that Tuvok works well with but I find his claim that he's 'never had an issue' with teaching others before in Learning Curve to be him being oblivious to those issues. In 'Repression' the Maquis crew are all talking about how they can't trust Tuvok because he's a traitor and there's no real push back against this.

No one brings up anything Tuvok's done to make up for this betrayal or soothe these clearly festering bad feelings because he hasn't. He's done literally nothing. This is season 7. He's spent SEVEN YEARS just letting that whole 'I betrayed half this crew' thing mellow because I doubt he even thought to do anything about it. I love this man - he's gonna get stabbed!!!

Recent milestones, such as team members presenting at the prestigious LeadingAge Annual Conference, being represented at the leading American Association for Service Coordinators Conference, and hosting our own comprehensive internal training programs, demonstrate our dedication to staying at the forefront of senior living excellence.
Leadership in Action
Last October, we had an opportunity to showcase our expertise and leadership at the LeadingAge Annual Conference. Sandra Dzankovic, Director of Operations for Independent Living, and Jennifer Parks, Director of Service Coordination, represented AHEPA Senior Living by sharing insights and lessons learned with their industry peers. The topic of their discussion was “Enhancing Quality through Teamwork in Affordable Housing,” where they shared their secret for improving teamwork between housing community property management teams and service coordination teams. As a result, residents benefit from AHEPA Senior Living’s approach to teamwork. The panel featured a resident from our LaVergne, Tennessee community who shared this perspective, which was well-received by the audience.
Sandra’s contribution emphasized the crucial role of streamlining operations to help with maintaining high-quality living environments. Jennifer’s focused approach to service coordination highlights the importance of addressing the diverse needs of residents, from mental health to community engagement. Their presence at the conference both showcased AHEPA’s forward-thinking ethos and reinforced our standing as a trend setter in senior living.
Hosting Service Coordination Training
Next, we held a Service Coordinators Internal Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana, where we discussed the industry’s leading topics on older adult services, with an emphasis on mental health, to our service coordinator teams as well as others from the industry who signed up. This event ensured our service coordinators had the latest knowledge and tools to address the changing needs of our residents. Key topics covered include mental health awareness, with a focus on men and veterans; cognitive awareness and decline, safety procedures, understanding caretakers, and best practices for delivering consistent, high-quality services. These topics are key when creating a supportive and enriching environment for all our residents.
“We hold our conference annually to ensure that service coordinators gain knowledge, broaden their minds, and receive quality in-person training,” Quality Assurance Manager Bridgette Carter said. “It also provides opportunities for service coordinators to connect, recap their learning, and enhance their skills and abilities.”
Ensuring Safety and Compliance with Property Management Training
Moreover, we held our annual Property Managers Conference in Fishers, Indiana. This annual training helps seasoned property managers stay up to date with essential regulations and current processes. Here, we addressed several critical areas such as compliance, fair housing laws, safety protocols and emergency preparedness thanks to presentations given by experts in these industry spaces. These topics are crucial for maintaining our communities with integrity and safety in mind, and by discussing these best practices, we ensure our communities are both compliant with legal standards and aim to exceed expectations for comfort and peace of mind for our residents. The conference also provides a forum for our property managers to engage with the executive officers of our board of directors, facilitating a two-way avenue of communication.
New property managers are also immersed in training. These four-day sessions are focused in the classroom with workstations set up to allow property managers to complete all workflows as required by their positions. For example, they are led through the processes of guest registration, all the way to qualifying prospective residents according to HUD guidelines and moving qualified residents into their properties.
“This was an intensive training that enabled property managers to network, learn, and ‘put the pieces together’ in their individual placements,” stated Maria Gray-Gerhart, the Director of Training. “We had a great time and build rapport that will enable me to support trainees and these new property managers to support one another in the future.”

Our approach to excellence is established through consistent training, a focus on best practices, and the drive from the leaders within our organization.
