1. I’m thankful that I had resisted myself from snacking on pizza today.
2. I’m thankful that I’m still not diabetic, given my unhealthy freakin’ diet.
3. I’m thankful that I’ve got to spend time with my family.
4. I’m thankful that I’ve got to laugh and share my weird and funny insights to my friends.
5. I’m thankful that I’m still alive and fully-functioning despite the massive influx of coronavirus cases.
6. I’m thankful that I’m still able to see the brighter side of life despite such several problems and overwhelming pressure I’m currently going through.
7. I’m thankful that I am continuously learning from my past mistakes.
8. I’m thankful to be able to realize that even I couldn’t change who I was, yet it’s still possible to change what can I become.
9. I’m thankful to see my loved ones happy and eventually getting closer in achieving their dreams.

This 1985 interview is probably Warren Buffet's first TV interview. The interviewer certainly claims so, and Buffet doesn't object. I think I have seen one older one though. But it doesn't matter. This interview belongs to a time when Warren Buffet was very media shy. I watched it and made notes. How do yours compare with mine?

For a money manager, temperament is more important than IQ. He should be a stable person, and his comfort zone should be neither with the crowd or against it.
You are not right or wrong because a thousand people agree or disagree with you. You are right because your facts are and your reasoning is.
Most people look at a stock from a 1-2 years point of view, and not as if they are investing in the company. "If the stock market remains closed for the next 5 years, would you still remain invested in the stock?"
"The stock price does not tell me anything about a company. Its business numbers tell me everything. "
"We are based out of Omaha and not Wall Street because there is no static here, no unnecessary stimulation. We only get facts here. If we were at Wall Street, we would be a lot poorer."
Securities analysis is an intellectual business, limited to:
A) Define your area of competence
B) In that area, buy good companies cheap w.r.t value.
Making money in the stock market is simple. That is why it is not easy. Most people would find a simple method boring. They prefer complicated, ineffective techniques. And they end up losing money.

Introductions...
I’m Christina. Currently quarantined with my spastic 3 year old Labrador, April. I used to enjoy long walks on the beach before the State decided to shut EVERYTHING down and I love pasta, but that’s enough about me for now.
I’m not sure if the world of blogging is still as big of a craze as I remember it being, but due to being quarantined, I’ll take a jump back in.
Due to being recently furloughed from my job, I have decided on taking my chances to try something new: Soap making.
I’ve done my research. I’ve studied up on soap recipes. I’ve ordered my materials. Cleaning out the shed and furnishing it is the next step, as well as waiting for my orders to be delivered.
I’m not sure where this new adventure will take me. Trying something new is always scary, especially when that something new involves working with sodium hydroxide (lye), but I’m ready to make the best out of this unexpected time at home.
I hope everyone who reads this is doing well, staying healthy, and keeping their sanity.
