Ok, it is no surprise that most people are very upset with the final Produce X 101 lineup; X1 and more so Jinhyuk not making the lineup. He was a hard-working trainee that definitely showed potential, talent and leadership skills so when he didn’t make it many people speculated this was on purpose. 

Now I’m not claiming that I know all the facts but from what I understand and have seen, many people are saying that the votes were rigged by Mnet as something similar happened in the last 3 seasons of Produce; someone who was in the top 10 in the last evaluation drops to No14 in the finale. However, this season was different as they had the X position which was decided on the trainee accumulative votes throughout the WHOLE SHOW. If the show had been like all the other Produce seasons then yes, Jinhyuk would’ve been the 11th member but because it wasn’t he was not. Fans also pointed out that the gap between the votes were all very similar which I guess is what started this all. 

But that isn’t why I am annoyed. Personally, I really did like Jinhyuk as he was always so caring towards the other trainees and was a very good leader. What annoys me is the fact that people are saying that he DESERVED to debut more than others. In my opinion, no one deserves to debut more than others. When you go into Produce you go in as equals, you are all there for the same reason and that is to accomplish your dream of becoming an idol. It doesn’t matter if you’ve already debuted because people are going to be watching where you are now, not where you have come from. Everyone works their butt’s off just to get there in the first place and then as the show goes on you can see that they work even harder to stay.

I have seen so many people saying that Minkyu and Jinhyuk should’ve debuted instead of Minhee and Eunsang which breaks my heart, not just cause they’re my picks but can you imagine being 16 and having a fandom coming at you saying you don’t deserve to be where you are? They probably feel useless and worthless which they are not. Like peoples, they have worked just as hard as any other trainee to get where they are so why can’t y’all see that?

So yes, maybe Mnet did rig the votes but they issued an article addressing the issue which seems a bit dodgy but they’re not going to change the final lineup if it really was decided by Mnet which I don’t think it was. If it was decided by Mnet then I feel like they would’ve included Minkyu as he was getting so much attention for being a visual but they didn’t. So peoples, WHY CAN’T Y’ALL JUST LOVE AND SUPPORT X1?! Like yes, I understand that you’re probably upset if your pick didn’t make it but that's just the show, you shouldn’t come at other trainees for making it. And let’s not forget that Mnet does evil editing so some trainees may have been portrayed in a certain so people disliked them, so as international fans I feel like we don’t get to the trainee as a whole. I feel like people forget that part of the show is for companies to get their trainees faces out there and recognized so when they do debut they already have support and fans. Jinhyuk was in Up10tion and now he can return to them and gain more hype and hopefully come back with them.

All in all, I feel like national producers just need to calm down and take a deep breath. Like why are y’all still surprised if Mnet rigged votes if it happened in the last 3 seasons? Just love and support X1 and know everyone there has worked hard to get there. Plus BY9 might be happening according to some news sources but who knows. Produce X 101 is just the beginning for many trainees so I look forward to seeing what is to come. So spread the love guys, there is no need for all the negativity cause it’s becoming half of what I see. X1! FIGHTING! PRODUCE X 101! FIGHTING! Argh, I love them so much <3
