I would like to address something that has come up several times since I relaunched my computer recommendation blog two weeks ago. Part of the reason that I started @okay-computer and that I continue to host my computer-buying-guide is that it is part of my job to buy computers every day.
I am extremely conversant with pricing trends and specification norms for computers, because literally I quoted seven different laptops with different specs at different price-points *today* and I will do more of the same on Monday.
Now, I am holding your face in my hands. I am breathing in sync with you. We are communicating. We are on the same page. Listen.
Computer manufacturers don't expect users to store things locally so it is no longer standard to get a terabyte of storage in a regular desktop or laptop. You're lucky if you can find one with a 512gb ssd that doesn't have an obnoxious markup because of it.
If you think that the norm is for computers to come with 1tb of storage as a matter of course, you are seeing things from a narrow perspective that is out of step with most of the hardware out there.
I went from a standard expectation of a 1tb hdd five years ago to expecting to get a computer with a 1tb hdd that we would pull and replace with a 1tb ssd to expecting to get a computer that came with a 256gb ssd that we would pull and replace with a 1tb ssd, to just having the 256gb ssd come standard and and only seeking out more storage if the customer specifically requested it because otherwise they don't want to pay for more storage.
Computer manufacturers consider any storage above 256gb to be a premium feature these days.
Look, here's a search for Lenovo Laptops with 16GB RAM (what I would consider the minimum in today's market) and a Win11 home license (not because I prefer that, but to exclude chromebooks and business machines). Here are the storage options that come up for those specs:
You will see that the majority of the options come with less than a terabyte of storage. You CAN get plenty of options with 1tb, but the point of Okay-Computer is to get computers with reasonable specs in an affordable price range. These days, that mostly means half a terabyte of storage (because I can't bring myself to *recommend* less than that but since most people carry stuff in their personal cloud these days, it's overkill for a lot of people)
All things being equal, 500gb more increases the price of this laptop by $150:
It brings this one up by $130:
This one costs $80 more to go from 256 to 512 and there isn't an option for 1TB.
For the last three decades storage has been getting cheaper and cheaper and cheaper, to the point that storage was basically a negligible cost when HDDs were still the standard. With the change to SSDs that cost increased significantly and, while it has come down, we have not reached the cheap, large storage as-a-standard on laptops stage; this is partially because storage is now SO cheap that people want to entice you into paying a few dollars a month to use huge amounts of THEIR storage instead of carrying everything you own in your laptop.
You will note that 1tb ssds cost you a lot less than the markup to pay for a 1tb ssd instead of a 500gb ssd
In fact it can be LESS EXPENSIVE to get a 1tb ssd than a 500gb ssd.
This is because computer manufacturers are, generally speaking, kind of shitty and do not care about you.
I stridently recommend getting as much storage as you can on your computer. If you can't get the storage you want up front, I recommend upgrading your storage.
But also: in the current market (December 2024), you should not expect to find desktops or laptops in the low-mid range pricing tier with more than 512gb of storage. Sometimes you'll get lucky, but you shouldn't be expecting it - if you need more storage and you need an inexpensive computer, you need to expect to upgrade that component yourself.
So, if you're looking at a computer I linked and saying "32GB of RAM and an i7 processor but only 500GB of storage? What kind of nonsense is that?" Then I would like to present you with one of the computers I had to quote today:
A three thousand dollar macbook with the most recent apple silicon (the m4 released like three weeks ago) and 48 FUCKING GIGABYTES OF RAM with a 512gb ssd.
You can't even upgrade that SSD! That's an apple that drive isn't going fucking anywhere! (don't buy apple, apple is shit)
The norms have shifted! It sucks, but you have to be aware of these kinds of things if you want to pay a decent price for a computer and know what you're getting into.

WeHeartIt: How to Save Your Hearts
Hi everyone! I’ve put together a multi-step comprehensive guide on how to save your hearted collections and articles from WeHeartIt. If you have any questions after reading this or need someone to walk you through it, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.
The information I’m using here is compiled from my own knowledge and uses links provided from Reddit user NTataglia, who is the real MVP here.
Please do this on your PC web browser, I don’t think it will work on your phone browser and it’s not possible to do anything in the app!! If you try this on your phone, it will not work!!! It might be possible on a tablet, but if you can, please use your laptop or desktop to do this. I used my Lenovo YOGA 7i with Windows 11 and Google Chrome to do this, but any PC and browser should be able to do this.
How to Save Your Images
Step 1: On your PC, go to www.weheartit.com and log in to your account. Hover your cursor on the arrow next to your icon, and you will see a drop-down list. On this list, click on settings.
Step 2: From here, you will see the settings options for your account, including a tab beside settings titled “Download Your Images”. Don’t click this, it will only save the images that you yourself have uploaded and has nothing to do with your collections. Instead, go to the tab titled “Privacy”, and you will see an option saying Download your data. Click this.
It’ll take you to a button titled “Download Data”. Click it, and your data will download to your PC.
Step 3: The data should download as a .json file. Your download should look something like this:
This file alone is basically useless, just a notepad file showing dead links and data, so to access the information on it we will be using the links shared by NTataglia.
First, we are going to go to the We Heart It data explorer. Open a new tab in your browser and go to https://whi-data-explorer.vercel.app/
It should look like this:
Click on “Choose File”, and select the .json file that you just downloaded. Now the Data Explorer should look similar to this, only with your images and collections:
All of your uploaded images, your saved images, and your collections and articles are now here. Unfortunately, this is where it gets time consuming. There’s no way (that I’m aware of) to mass save every image, so you have to go through individually and right-click save each image to your PC. I recommend you to make a specific folder just for WeHeartIt, and to keep it organized have subfolders titled to match your collections and save your photos accordingly. Not every image will show up, as a few are already being removed from the site, but you’ll be able to save most of your collections and images.
How to Save Your Articles
A fair warning with this one: the articles show up in the Data Explorer as the images that they’re displayed with. There is no easy way to see which image is an article, or which is just an image. Hopefully you have a collection made specifically for your articles, or you can remember by image which is an article and which was just an image, or you have the patience to test each image one-by-one, otherwise this will be tricky for you. I do have a few tips for identifying some images from articles though: right-click it to open the image in a new tab. Does it look smaller, or like a different resolution than typical images do? Might be an article.
Here's how to access your articles and how to save them as a PDF.
Step 1: Right-click on an article image from your collection or that you have hearted and open it in a new tab. Check the web address for the ID number, as seen in this screenshot:
Highlight the numbers and either right-click or Crtl+C to copy them.
Step 2: In a new tab in your browser, go to https://weheartit.com/entry/(articleidnumber)
Go to the web address and where it says (articleidnumber) highlight it, and replace it by pasting in the ID number you copied from the image article. You can paste by either right-clicking and selecting paste or by hitting Ctrl+V.
Hit enter and the article will load on WeHeartIt. From here you will see the full article as normal, however the only links you can click on are links to other articles; profile and collection links no longer work.
Step 3: To save the article to your PC as a PDF, hit Crtl+P or manually go to print the webpage. Do not actually print!! Your screen should look something like this:
Where it says “Destination”, click on that, and find the option “Save as PDF” or something similar.
Now, the “Print” button should be replaced by “Save”. Click that, and you’ll have the article (albeit badly formatted) saved as a PDF on your PC!

Hey, I repair desktops and laptops for my day job and just wanted to throw my two cents in because it's the Internet. Also you're cool and I like trying to help cool people.
It really sounds like the bearings for the fan are failing. Especially if it still sounds rough after cleaning. If you're trying to clean the laptop fan with air, please hold the fan in place so it doesn't free spin. Free spinning past it's rated rpm will actually cause damage to the fan (and if fast enough backwards, it can cause a reverse current back into your motherboard, that's extremely rare nower days, but if you had an air compressor, it's possible)
It looks like you're using a Lenovo laptop (maybe one of the Legion ones?) If you need to do a fan replacement, it's either extremely easy and just popping off the bottom casing and replacing the fan, or it's a little more involved and you might need to take the heatsink off too. That's a good time to replace your thermal paste if you haven't done it in a couple years.
If it is a Lenovo laptop, their support site actually gives you the exact model number for each of their parts, but other major brands have pretty easily replaceable parts just by searching for the name of the laptop model + part.
If another deep clean doesn't work out and this all sounds like way too much, I do recommend getting it into a shop at some point. Fan failure can cook a gpu or processor and with laptops, they're pretty much impossible to replace as individual components. Which means replacing the whole motherboard, and that can get very expensive. If this is the model I think it is, this does share a heat pipe between both cpu and gpu to both fans, so you're more likely to just get a lot of thermal throttling and shut downs before it cooks itself, but better safe than sorry.
Feel free to shoot any questions if you'd like more help and sorry about the essay in your ask box. Best of luck!
WOAH this is super helpful, thank you so much! We gave it a deep clean and i will admit oops we did not hold the fan in place while we cleaned a lot of it. never gave it more than a couple short bursts of air but it seemed like everything was where it was supposed to be. it currently works and nothing seems to be heating up at all, it just sounds like a helicopter starting up but it goes away. no clue what's goin on yet. air IS coming out the vents and we cleaned a LOT of dust and hair out of it, so it seems to be....faring well aside from the occasional noise. id love more help at some point if possible because google is a bitch trying to figure out exactly how to work this stuff.

i’m not some kind of apple fan boy, i use macos, windows, and linux in my house
but i will say it is insane in year of our lord 2025 to say that you Prefer to use windows
now you might Need to use windows whether it’s to play games, specific applications are only available on windows, etc. this is why i keep windows around. but to use windows is fucking horrible. and my hope is that one day the year of the linux desktop finally arrives but saying that is a meme in and of itself
my biggest complaints with macos, not the hardware of a mac but the software itself, are basically that Deleting an app does not remove various other files it puts in various Libraries and other locations. there is no Uninstall on mac os
and it’s annoying when there is an update to an Apple App that you get a what’s new tutorial
my list for windows is so long i would need a small book. just to name some of the more egregious shit;
- can’t avoid opening edge even with default browser settings
- the deeper you go into settings menus, the worse and less intuitive the interface is. and some settings are burried deep in a weird part of control panel with a 2009 interface. why is it like this?
- too many programs don’t behave on windows. background processes stay open, multiple instances of apps happen if the rhythm of your double click is wrong or it just gets sick
- uninstalling copilot and then it getting reinstalled every time you update windows
- windows updates just ignore activity window settings and just happen whenever they want, and sometimes after doing an update you have to go thru that “give us all of your information” check boxes screen again to “get the best experience”
- make sure you connect to one drive, and teams, and use a microsoft account
literally i can keep going. linux is fucked too but that’s a whole separate can of worms. i will tell you the biggest hurdle to me using linux as a desktop os is the fact that basic shit just does not happen without entering a terminal and editing fstab or using a systemd setting that i don’t understand, and there is a 50% chance your hardware doesn’t work with Debian
anyways that’s it i saw a person say online that they were switching from a macbook air to some lenovo thin and light because they missed windows and i think that is the most insane position to take. the second linux becomes usable as a daily driver to me i am shooting windows with a machine gun

What specs is your new computer/laptop? I'm considering getting into actual PC gaming alongside other things (digital art and hopefully, making my own video games starting with rpg maker).
Though I work with computers all the time because of my job, I honestly couldn't tell you or anyone else with certainty I know everything about them specs wise.
Sorry if this is a dumb question, any websites or links would be greatly appreciated. I'll check back from time to time to see if you replied, so don't feel like you have to reply to this in any sort of rushed way ^^"
Have a good one!
It’s a relatively affordable one I got with a buddy from a certain retail store’s bonus Black Friday discount, from ~570 with tax down to ~430. it’s a Lenovo ideapad 3 slim. Was not my ideal because I didn’t want a slim personally. it has a touch screen but I haven’t used that yet, really. 16gb ram, ryzen 7 and a 512gb ssd. I’d like more storage but ssds bring the price right up and I mostly wanted it for “older” games til I can finance a desktop down the line, so I’ll make do with the 512. Still looking to get a stylus for the touchscreen before I mess with that too much, so I couldn’t tell you how well that would work for digital art unfortunately. But it ran StarCraft 2 on high so no complaints from me. It’s honestly been so long since I’ve had any money for a decent computer, so I’m very out of touch (out of time) with what specs are good? These days? About the only reason I’m thankful for overtime at work is I was able to get it for myself lol

fang omg i'm so sorry to ask but, before you buy your new laptop 😬 have you heard about the " hashtag intel bloodbath" https://mamoru.tumblr.com/post/758634377954672640
intel is being extremely shady, there hasn't been a recall announced, but there have been tons of failures in the 13th and 14th desktop chips, and apparently it'd be because of smg wrong w their raw materials, and they use the same materials for ALL their chips so. all the laptop chips could technically also have the same manufacturing problem they makes them fail too?
it's a lot of hearsay and people trying to investigate bc the company isn't officially announcing anything,we don't know for sure when the manufacturing problem got fixed (allegedly..), so we sure af don't know what ISN'T compromised. and in the chips that were compromised, the highest failure rates is in higher end chips, especially the i9 ones.
so uh, recommendation going around is maybe don't buy an intel laptop just yet. sorry!!
hey friend i am indeed aware of this though mostly from articles and subreddits and other threads.
haven't watched the full videos though i would like too if i get a chance. the laptop im picking up does not use an intel processor (unless ive misread the specs) but an amd ryzen processor which functions similarly. the processor was part of the reason i chose it and not the other laptop i wanted which was a lenovo model with an i9 processor among other things
i do appreciate the info though !!!

LittleMissSquiggles’ Summary of Art 2023
Honestly folks, I don't got much to say about this year. This might just be my shortest art summary to date since I don't have much to comment on this year's events.
2023 was a general mix of highs and lows but overall, not a bad year. You could say that this was the year I was more work-oriented.
I focused more on work especially during the early half of this year, between January and July and therefore didn't spend much time on personal projects; specifically 3D. That being said, I did end up getting back up to my art. Since I've been more focused on 3D for the past two years, I chose this year to get back into my 2D art doing illustrative work since I missed it.
More than that, I took this year to spend some well needed time improving my drawing skills, using tools and techniques from my 3D workflow in an attempt to improve my illustrative work and needless to say, I think it worked out great, even if the end results wasn't much.
---
Some squiggly good accomplishments I achieved in 2023:
Started the year employed and while I had to juggle two job opportunities which had its fair share of ups and downs in more ways than one, at least it allowed me the chance to earn the funds I needed to obtain my new workstation: a Lenovo Ideacentre 5 Gaming PC.
Learned about the almighty power of networking and remote desktops thanks to my contract job which allowed to me to transform my current setup into one that fully connects and maximizes the full use of all the devises in my arsenal. Basically I figured out how to connect my previous laptop to my new PC so now I work with a setup where my laptop acts as a third monitor for my PC while I'm able to access all my files from my laptop from my PC. Ontop of that, I also learnt how to connect my PC to my Ipad Mini, not just for transferring files for art but for also using it as a proxy computer device to remote into my main PC workstation. This may not seem like a big deal to most but for someone who didn't know a thing about most of this stuff up until this year, it makes a huge difference to this squiggle meister.
Gained a new four-legged member to the squiggle meister family household. A playfully mischievous yet adorable Husky-mix pup fittingly named Alaska or the "Wee Las" as I like to call her.
Experimented a lot with my art this year and while I may not have shared all of the fruits of my labour to social media, I have been making quite a few strides. ---- I spent the last couple of years pushing my social media presence and while I have benefitted from it from time to time, I missed out on just taking some time to myself; getting back to indulging in other activities that brought me joy; particularly the ones that involve truly honing my craft.
I hope to maintain this type of vibe moving forward towards the new year.
Even if my social media activity won't be as frequent as previous years, I do hope that those who have been following and supporting me and my work over years still continue to do so, even if it's to simply just check in from time to time.
To conclude my post, as always, I'm wishing everyone all the very, very best in their respective lives and daily endevours for the upcoming new year.
Let see what we got in store for 2024! Happy New Year folks!

I didn't know MicroPCs were a thing until I read your post and now I'm super interested! I didn't think getting a "desktop" was possible for me since I don't have the space/money for a big tower, but this might be a game changer. However, I don't know which ones are good? All the ones I'm finding on Amazon are brands I've never heard of with few reviews.
Okay so you're looking for the micro form factor, not necessarily a micropc (which sometimes means a self-contained pc in a sealed case for bargain basement prices that, generally speaking, I would want to do a lot of testing on before I'd trust one.)
Sticking with the big 3 brands again you'd be looking for the Lenovo Tiny line, the Dell Micro Form Factor, and the HP Mini desktop.
These are, generally speaking, business machines and have a higher entry price than your average desktop. However, they are also easier to upgrade than a laptop so as long as you start with a decent processor you can get lower specs on the RAM and the SSD and upgrade them at a later date.
You can also look for open box and manufacturer refurbs if you want to save some money. Desktops are a better option for refurbished computers than laptops, and business desktops are generally pulled from environments where they saw light duty. If you - or anyone - is going to look at refurbished computers I think you should still look for the specs described in the inital post but it is even more important than with a new computer purchase to pay attention to the generation of the processor; you absolutely don't want anything more than a few years old - as of now, August 2023, I wouldn't buy anything older than a 10th-generation i5/i7 processor in a refurbished device, and if it was a 10th gen I'd have a heavy preference for the i7 over the i5.
But you may be able to get some savings simply by looking for older gen processors on new devices - here's a very reasonably priced dell with great specs and a 10th-gen processor that is new in box. ($670 for an i5-10th gen, 32GB RAM, a 1TB SSD, and a Pro OS).
And if you have a VESA mount monitor, there are all kinds of brackets that are available online and compatible with pretty much all extra small form factor PCs for about $15-$40.

B roll - 2024 02
For a while, after I deleted my Twitter account and before I started using my Bluesky account instead, I was keeping my bits and pieces on my Tumblr, which I also no longer use. These are those bits and pieces.
01 - There's something that deeply bothers me about people who read books of personal adventure, like that book of that lady who hiked the Pacific Coast Trail, and perform the same rituals thinking to get the same adventure out of it, the same epiphany, the same fulfilment. I get the appeal of pilgrimage, but why not blaze your own trail, find your own adventure, create your own epiphany, instead of living someone else's.
01 - I thought today was Friday.
01 - Someone posted online the other day asking for people to share their favourite insult that wasn't a vulgarity. This is one of mine: It may be your sole purpose in life to serve as a warning to others.
01 - I bought a giant bag of wine gums. Turns out I don't actually want them as much as I thought I did. Now I have a giant bag of wine gums I don't want to eat.
01 - Phrases I'm sick to death of hearing: passive income.
01 - If you open up a haunted furniture store, you can call it the Booteak. You're welcome.
04 - My least favourite season of True Blood is 4. Marnie the witch sounds like a nasal duck when she talks.
04 - I just saw this clip of some woman talking about things that make your home look tacky and how you can get rid of them or change them. Bitch, I want my home to look tacky.
04 - Ever want a snack but you're still full from dinner but you still want the snack but there's no room for it but you still want it?
04 - I completely forgot about the expletive whoreson until it popped out of me unbidden yesterday evening.
04 - Favourites:
Pen colours: black ink, all the way, for writing.
Sandwich fillings: grape jam and crunchy peanut butter, cucumber / tomato / havarti / black forest ham or roast beef.
Movie quotes: "I have not yet begun to defile myself." - Doc (Val Kilmer) Tombstone.
Gallery exhibit: Claes Oldenberg's Floor Burger.
06 - On the list of things I wish I could hire someone to do for me would be dishes and cooking, plus laundry. Sadly, I must do them myself. Alone. Almost every damned day.
06 - I think my favourite cameo character from True Blood is Dr. Ludwig.
06 - I just learned the Cree word for "dick": tuguy.
06 - Sometimes I have an intense craving for a mint chocolate bar. Do I go for the After Eight bar, the Aero mint bar, or the family size Cadbury mint one?
07 - To whoever in my building stole my package: I hope you break the plate in your microwave. Package was returned to the spot from which it had been taken - unopened, too. Dear person, I hope you have many fully functional microwave plates.
07 - Watching celebrity fanaticism in real time is, as the kids say, cringe.
07 - I almost left my sword at the dojo. Who the fuck does that? That would have been a panic.
07 - A chatbot told me I should seek support if I have an issue eating creamed avocado. Somehow I think I can save support for other needs, like PTSD or trauma dumping.
09 - I had to turn off the frigging Lenovo Vantage ads on my computer (which I should have done at the outset when I got it, but here we are) because all it keeps telling me to do is buy battery-related items ... I have a desktop.
09 - Five Covid shots deep and still no 5G? I protest!
09 - I ordered in. I ordered in the two-for-one burger combos from a pub. i got them. I got them so much I got two of them. I got two two-for-one burger combos. I'm up to my eyeballs in meat product.
09 - John Wayne is big leggy. If you know, you know.
09 - I'm going to start using the numbers from my Covid vaxes as passwords. Yumpin' yimminy.
09 - I read a comment where someone said they were sick of Take Five. Wut?
10 - There is never going to come a time when I can understand or accept why such a creative and inventive fashion icon as Andy in Pretty In Pink got hooked into one of the most awful prom dresses I've ever seen. What was that thing? Decades later, and it still bothers me.
10 - I really crave some ruby grapefruit, but I cannae have it. Bum.
10 - I don't think billionaires should be allowed to call themselves philanthropists.
10 - I'm proud to say that I never learned how to do the Macarena dance.
10 - One day I'm going to have to find out why they call them cocktails.
10 - My favourite piece of news this week is finding out that Moroccan drug dealers are refusing to sell to Israeli drug dealers. That lightened my heart and made me giggle.
10 - Leonard Cohen's song Hallelujah is about orgasms.
12 - Imagine the irony of being mouthy, but not much of an extrovert. My cousin's daughter said "I flushed a bunny". I'm still not sure why.
12 - Watching someone say that another human's disabling illness was deserved because the ill person is a bad one, is really disheartening. Disability isn't a punishment. But even if it were, to be the sort of person who'd actively wish that sort of thing on another makes you the sick one.
12 - I need to find someone who can recommend some good books to me about the Black Panthers - because Amazon's idea of search results sure are not about the political party in the US.
12 - Whoever thought it was a good idea to deodorise garbage bags - fuck you.
12 - "It's hypocritical to commit oppressed people to non-violence while not restraining the oppressor from its violence." - Unknown
12 - "Hatrack ratcatcher, brickbat lingerie." If you know, you know.
12 - Things that are as useless as tits on a bull:
MS Outlook
non-alcoholic beer
deodorised garbage bags
Canada's disability minister
13 - It annoys the shit out of me when people say tenant when they mean tenet.
13 - "Unfortunately, some people were not put here to evolve. They are here to remind you what it looks like if you don't." - Unknown
13 - "Stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be necessary, and start shaming the rich for profiteering off of things that are essential." - Unknown
13 - Someone made the observation that people who aren't book smart often assume that makes them street smart, and it's not true. Street smarts are survival and adaptability smarts, social interaction smarts. If you can't even offer a drink to a guest in your home, you're lacking in smarts.
13 - I made myself sit through the first season of Bridgerton when it came out - and every time I've seen a clip of it since, I wonder how I managed to do that. Lawdy, what a gawdawful show. Costume drama Gossip Girl.
14 - Oh how I wish the people of Gaza knew we care. We do care. But there's governments who don't between them and us. This hurts so much.
14 - Watching Gordon Ramsay make crepes was a bit of a turn on.
14 - It's clear to me from a casual glance at the comments, that some folks have no idea The Beaverton is satire.
14 - There is no Cadfael but Derek Jacobi. But I do wonder who'd do a good job if they rebooted the show or reimagined the books.
14 - Things that irritate the shit out of me:
companies that leave making T4 slips available to the last minute.
people who complain about a situation but deliberately blinker themselves as to the nature of that situation, and any solution that could solve it.
14 - I never liked The Bangles all that much.
14 - If the world is your oyster, maybe you're the pearl.
18 - It's not anyone's obligation to care about your pet project as much as you do. So, quit your bitching about people not wanting to work and demanding people sacrifice their personal time to your company or the job they do. Put up (in the form of money, benefits, flexibility, etc.), or shut up.
18 - Break stupid rules.
18 - Watching people fetishise someone's disability makes me throw up in my mouth. People with albinism don't need to hear you talk about how beautiful they are. No disabled person needs to hear your opinions on their bravery. Fuck me. We are not your disability porn.
18 - I should do a decluttering challenge where I get rid of one thing every day. I meant to start that weeks ago, but the idea got lost - in the clutter in my head.
18 - I used to have spontaneous nosebleeds as a child. They never did figure out why.
18 - I'd be afraid to tell the makers of Escape to the Country what kinds of things I don't like, because they'd try to force it on me.
18 - Someday perhaps I'll understand why people are so obsessed with having a kitchen island. Today is not that day.
22 - I'm pretty sure I hate the word eatery.
22 - Spiral staircases look pretty, but they are a massive pain in the ass to contend with in any practical sense.
22 - It baffles me that there are people who don't know what an "everything" shower is.
22 - I wonder if I still think tomato soup is gross.
22 - Crunchy peanut butter is better than smooth.
22 - Subvert expectations.
22 - Every time Poilievre speaks, I become inundated with impressions of a duck mid-choke on rancid herring.
22 - I think I'd enjoy to do some beach cleanup, but my eyesight wouldn't really make that a viable occupation of my time. Bum.
22 - Pop songs that mention luxury brands instead of just the generic item type annoy me. It's giving trying too hard.
22 - I knocked my whole 120 pack of Crayolas onto the floor behind my table and desk - and found all but one of them. There's always one. Always. But now I have to wait until it isn't 5:30 in the morning so I can spend an hour moving everything to find it.
22 - Somehow, the fact that I prefer a 24-hour clock has tricked my brain into sometimes thinking that somehow $1400 is actually only $1200.
22 - Jodrell Bank sounds like it's only something from a Douglas Adams book.
22 - Things that are overrated: Breakfast at Tiffanys, celebrity culture, awards shows.
22 - Before you have too much of a panic about AI taking over, do remember that LLMs/AIs like ChatGPT can't count. They cannot count. Go put the following into ChatGPT. I guarantee you that it won't get the order and/or letter counts completely correct. Give me a list of all Canadian provinces and territories listed in order from the one with the least number of letters to the one with the most. Give a letter count.
25 - It would be a bad idea, I think, to create an Escape to the Country drinking game where you take a drink every time someone says "holiday let".
25 -I just referred to my menopausal uterus as being "past its use-by date". Apt.
25 -If you stay at an inn to sleep indoors, you should call campgrounds outs.
25 -Madness in the eyes of indoctrinated children is one of the most revolting things I've ever seen.
