ྀ࿔ I am an AVID Clip Studio Paint user. Almost all my digital work is made on CSP. Otherwise, I use Illustrator or Photoshop (for my older works done in high school). I have a Wacom One that I got for christmas that I use as well.

ྀ࿔ My typical process for more complex pieces is sketch, color, shading, blur, render, highlight. For a piece more simple like the one above, it would be sketch, lineart, color, shade, highlight.

Modern Amis Style Guide /part .../ Cosette

I havent posted one of these in months but I still had a few left to go so I figured I might as well!!!

 Either way, for Cosette I kinda wanted to play up the girliness to a max, I do really feel like she’d really be into all those soft and cute colors and patterns. Cosette knows what she wants and what she has to offer so honestly I just thought this was neat. I really wanted to bounce off the puffy sleeve trend as well as all the other distinctly romantic era inspired trends going on right now, she would love them imo and I also think they’re a cute reference to her stage and movie costumes.

Les Mis Big Bang: Quarantine Edition

Are you going crazy with boredom during this international quarantine? Do you miss the days when we were all drowning in brand-new Les Mis content? Have you ever wanted a chance to collaborate with other content creators?

If you answered “YES!” to any of these questions, then welcome to the Les Mis Big Bang: Quarantine Edition!

The Big Bang is a fandom-wide content creation event which results in a huge collection of new fanworks, including fic, visual art, cosplay, and music. It is intended to bring together one of the most diverse and dedicated fandoms in the world during a time of isolation and fear, and to remind us:

“Even the darkest night will end, and the sun will rise.”

This will be very similar to past Big Bangs in the fandom (the last of which was, as far as we know, in 2016), but with an emphasis on accessibility and inclusion of all fans - we’re specifically encouraging creators of all sorts, not just writers and traditional visual artists, to sign up. We also have an option for people who can’t/don’t want to collaborate to participate as Solo Creators. If you don’t want to commit to a full project, but still want to contribute, anything you post to the hashtags #quarantinebigbang and #lesmisbigbang2020 will be shared on our blog regardless of whether you signed up with us.

Sign ups close March 27th at 11:59 PST, and works will be posted on May 5th.
