Li Xingke's Character & Personality

Xingke is a Faction Leader of the Chinese Federation and a military commander. He's an incredibly hardened individual with a strong sense of duty to his country, albeit only in the ways he believes it can be improved. Xingke is willing to go against orders if it means improving the country. This includes murdering his superior and staging a coup de'tat to prevent his empress from being sold away. Xingke always keeps a stoic disposition unless provoked in some way. Additionally, he seems to have a fondness for Knightmare pilots.

Under appreciated Code Geass character: Li Xingke (I hope I’m spelling it right). Aside from how much I love that character, I specifically remember this one line

“Shen-hu(the machine he was piloting), my life is yours—take it if you must. But please, save her!”

And you know what I think he’s one of many reasons that started me on the path of writing male characters who are ride or die for their daughters/sisters/wives.
