Getting to listen to Angela gush so enthusiastically about Shakespeare and the amount of enthusiasm and love and passion rolling off of her is so endearing and just makes me happy by proxy. Her passion and joy about this is truly so infectious it makes me. :] Like Shayne is laughing a little, Chanse is poking fun, but they're both visibly impressed. Amanda is caught between entertainment and genuine awe/admiration as she watches Angela wax poetic. its great.

i survived the gatsby slime tutorial and all i got was a breathtaking show with beautiful costumes and sets and lighting and amazing performances and a banger score. and this second hand suit.

Was listening to one of the best soundtracks of all time (Hadestown Original Cast Recording, not OBC idk how much the song changed for Broadway) and realized that Wait For Me is so insanely perfect for Jack after the events of Dance with the Swan?
He would obviously be the Orpheus in this situation (no clue who would be the Hermes, though). Just look at these lyrics
“She called your name before she left, but I guess you weren’t listening.”
Gee, why does that sound familiar? Oh, right!
That’s such a perfect parallel!
Do I think it’s funny that Jack’s name is literally in the song? Yes. Yes, I do.
I picture this as what Eternyx (or wherever they’re headed on that boat) becomes when Night Swan has the Just Dancers under her control, and navigating it would be insanely dangerous for anyone, but especially for Jack.
And of course, the chorus of the song. This is pretty self-explanatory, I think. I imagine Jack would have had a similar thought when he saw what happened to his friends.

I did not like the outsiders musical
I don't care that the characters were different races or anything like that, i couldnt care less that the actors were different races honestly, I just straight up did not like how the music sounded to the point I could not enjoy the story
And I sort of feel shitty for saying that cause I know a ton of people loved it, but good god I am sticking with just the movie and the books
