This was her favourite day. Once a month, Mistress would fit her for new dresses, making sure to accessorise each one with the correct hair ribbons, shoes and jewellery.
She had to sit perfectly still and in silence while Mistress fussed over each button and clip. There would usually be around six dresses to fit, but they would all be quite similar - big, satin floral dresses with massive petticoats. And usually very pink and frilly.
Importantly, the clothes Mistress had selected would be the only clothes she would be allowed to wear until the next fitting.
"So, do you like what I've picked for you this month?"
