It was a shame that her power had been so thoroughly sapped by the magic of this strange city; crushing the spirit of That Woman in her hands was something the lich had wanted for so, so long.

And yet in all that sustained eye contact... the Warforged did not react. ... Pity.

When rumors and tales of travelers being beaten and attacked along less traveled paths in Felucca began to spread, fighters in the local area made their way towards the origin of the stories... and upon their return, those same fighters came home with bruises, broken teeth and bloody noses. Something out there was tougher than some of the region’s best, and it was leaving a warpath in its wake.

That’s when a certain Messenger became involved, but not completely on purpose. It was almost by chance that Vee’s route took her through on a crash course with the beast...

A woman- no, a Brawler, a warrior, a fighter. Those who came her way met with her fists, dueling with a fury like an animal cornered- and Vee was no different. She didn’t introduce herself, she didn’t bother with pleasantries, she wanted a fight and this girl was going to give her one...

... until she wound up flat on the ground in defeat. 

She’d never lost a fight close up like that before. Her whole life, she’d been a survivor and a victor because defeat meant death or worse. She couldn’t afford to lose... yet there she’d been, laid out, at this woman’s mercy- and she was only met with mercy.

Laurenti didn’t know who this girl was or what she was planning to do, but she was already different than others that’d crossed her path before...

As he walks casually down the street, his mind wanders to his situation. People from all kinds of worlds have appeared here, some of them aren't even human, yet not from any worlds Sora's familiar with. The only methods he knows of for crossing into other worlds is via a Door to Darkness - and yet, he hasn't felt the presence of Darkness once in his two weeks here. He was given a townhouse, a wooden facsimile of the Kingdom Key - so obviously whoever's behind this isn't against him, or at least not in a direct way. It was over these matters that Sora remains distracted as he strolls aimlessly.

That is, until a man sprints towards him, shoves a purse into his hands, and continues running full-tilt.

"Wh- hey!" Sora is stunned from his reverie and looks between the purse and the man. A few seconds later he hears shouts in the distance. "Officer! That man has my purse!" Sora turns to look in the direction of the screaming to find a cop running towards him. "Drop the purse!" the cop commands.

"What?! No, I-" Sora turns back around to look at the man getting smaller in the distance. "Hey! You!" Without hesitating, Sora sprints after the snatcher, cop in pursuit. This probably doesn't look good to any bystanders, who simply notice Sora running from the police with a stolen purse in his hand.
