imagine if sam had just. shot and killed ruby in 3.04 . imagine. imagine if she hadn’t been able to dangle the vague promise of saving dean in front of sam. imagine if sam had been just a little bit more able to be logical about dean. if she hadn’t known that the best way to win sam over was to be a replacement for dean. the way she said “that’s my boy” and “i’ll be right there with you” and said he was a good person, telling him everything he needed to hear, everything dean couldn’t/wouldn’t say.

not that i'd consider Air you know an indie movie given that its made up of some of the longest standing actors in hollywood but going from Live by Night this studio backed film and then to Air with the set pieces and the color grading and just like the scale is really fascinating to me and i kind really wish Ben gets to do a director cut of Live by Night cos i do feel a lot of it got chopped down in favor of the whole fiasco happening at WB during that time but maaaaan seriously live by night is objectively the "prettier" film

liam’s anu-kite induced hallucination in triggers being a flashback to when he was a scared fourteen year old boy who couldn’t protect himself against a group of people who were supposed to be on his team rather than one about theo, the guy who once tried and almost got liam to kill one of the most important people in his life while shifted and was planning on killing him next even though becoming a monster that hurts people is one of liam’s greatest fears. theo actually being the one who pulls liam out of his head and keeps him from killing someone and talks to him about why he gets so angry when he’s really feeling afraid. layers. guys there are layers.
