It was more than just abandonment though, it was isolation, being lied to. Mislead and left behind, clinging to a false hope that miserably died out.

Do you know what years of being outcasted does to somebody, Lukas? Do you know how angry I was at the people who left me here, at this dimension for even existing.

I did what was easy, I was never more than an outcasted freak here either. I knew the way they looked at me.

There’s no trust I can reason to give when I know what I’m capable of doing myself. Even if I was friends with them, who’s to say they wouldn’t just have double crossed me just like everyone else had prior.
