Happy Holidays here’s what happened everyone got at the GSNK Secret Santa.

Chiyo ->Wakamatsu

She got him a subscription to a shoujo manga magazine so he’ll stop borrowing hers. He’s both mortified and thrilled.

Wakamatsu ->Kashima

You know those mini ring lights you clip onto your phone? That. He got her that. Kashima isn’t sure if she should be offended or flattered.

Kashima -> Seo

A nerf gun. Like a really really big nerf gun. It is Seo’s new favorite item.

Seo -> Hori

Shoe lifts. Her logic was “well if you’re going to keep complaining about being short here I helped solve the problem”. Hori cursed her out while he put them in his shoes.

Hori -> Mikorin

A set of those thumb grips for video game controllers in the shape of flowers. Mikorin likes them more than he is willing to admit that he does.

Mikorin -> Nozaki

A set of pens. Nozaki explicitly texted everyone “if you are my secret Santa I need some new ink pens here is the brand I like.”

Nozaki -> Mayu

He got them matching tshirts bc someone told him once that the best gift for siblings was something themed. They say “I’m the cool brother”. Mayu said he threw it away but he kept it.

Mayu -> Chiyo

He got her a special hanger for hair bows. He was under the impression she owned way more than she does but Chiyo cried anyway bc of how thoughtful she thought it was.

so i was re reading the ouran au thing and i have some thoughts 1. chiyo and mori are the cutest couple ever how does nozaki react to it? Does he get jealous? 2. i am living for hori flat out rejecting renge(lmao i kinda hate her) 3. wakamatsu is such a sweetheart that the host club kind of adopts him and i believe that with my whole chest

Lol it’s been a minute since I thought about this AU

1. I’d say in this AU Nozaki isn’t into Chiyo like since it takes FOREVER for him to even consider seeing her in a romantic light her and Mori just get together before he starts to consider it so since she’s not single it just never was a thought that Nozaki even considered. So he’s not jealous he’s like their number 3 supporter. Behind Honey and Tamaki.

2. I dont blame you for disliking Renge tbh it’s understandable. And yeah Hori is NOT having the chaos that is Renge he doesn’t have the time. Hori is the guy who could be physically on fire but the second someone insinuates he needs help he will be like “nOPE I’M FINE LEAVE ME ALONE”. So Renge’s whole rags to riches delusion angered him sooooo much.

3. Every member of the host club is whipped for Wakamatsu. Yes even Haruhi. She’s not happy about it either but like it’s Wakamatsu so…

Do the different age groups hang out in the haikyuu au? Like first years bonding, third years being friends and stuff

Yesssss. The age respect thing has so much potential for funny shit so here are some age group specific thoughts.

First Years+Mayu

The karasuno 1st years adopted Wakamatsu into their weird little squad a little before he and Yamaguchi got together and he fits in TERRIFYINGLY well.

Lev met Mayu when Nozaki roped him into helping him get reference sketches of a Karasuno vs Nekoma match and decided he was his “super cool senpai”. Mayu just rolled with it. He thinks Lev is a moron but also won’t let anyone talk shit about him.

The only person in the mangang Tsukishima will call senpai is Hori and SOMETIMES Chiyo(he forgets she’s older than him).

Wakamatsu is actively terrified of most of the first years in the Japan Youth Volleyball league and it’s mostly because of Goshiki. He made too much eye contact, Koganegawa thought it was a new thing they were doing, and it freaked out Wakamatsu.

Mayu has a massive crush on Yachi. Only Nozaki knows.

Second Years

Chiyo to the surprise of EVERYONE has a really good friendship with Kyoutani from Aoba Johsai. Nobody really knows how it happened but she stopped being scared of him when she watched Iwaizume BODY Kyoutani in an arm wrestling contest. And he’s unphased by her “Nozaki Tangents”.

Kashima is BFFS with Kuroo that’s common knowledge. What’s LESS common knowledge is her friendship with Kenma. Man is so used to Kuroo’s shenanigans he just kinda rolls with whatever Kashima is doing so most of her physical affection and short jokes that used to be at Hori are directed more towards Kenma. It WAS Yaku but that’s another story”

Mikorin has a haram. We know this. The haram has spawned the Mikorin Protection Squad ™. It’s just Tanaka and Nishinoya following Mikorin and Ennoshita on dates and talking to each other into dollar store walkie talkies but still.

Seo has not once but THREE TIMES gotten into physical fights with Hoshiumi. They are both the epitome of “smaller means I’m closer to hell”. Hoshiumi with all his volleyball skill has yet to win bc Seo plays dirty. They also have a 3 month Snapchat streak of just insults.

Nozaki LATCHED onto Sakusa Kiyoomi when he met him because his brain went “MYSTERIOUS. PRETTY. LEADING MAN. MUST INVESTIGATE” but because he’s awkward he didn’t actually speak to him. Sakusa thinks he’s a weirdo. Nozaki does not know this.

Third Years

Hori and Iwaizume are friends. Hori and Oikawa are best friends. Nobody knows how this happened.

Kiyoko has low key adopted Nozaki because she thinks he’s a moron and needs to be looked after. Which he does.

Ushijima calls Hori “Hori Senpai” bc Tendou messed with him and told him Hori was a college kid and Ushijima believed him.

Tendou has a group chat with the mangang minus Mikorin where they give him updates on people who wronged or are into Mikorin.

I think I’ve mentioned this before but Mikorin will draw flowers on Mayu’s hand and arm when he’s bored.

GSNK Characters as people in escape rooms bc I’ve worked in two and I’m qualified to talk about this trust me bro

Chiyo: The one who tries to keep everyone having a good time. Definitely a time waster bc she’ll indulge peoples ideas on puzzles even if they’re blatantly wrong.

Nozaki: The guy who will stand there silently before plugging in the answer to a puzzle. He doesn’t think out loud and he’s probably doing a completly different puzzle than the rest of the group.

Seo: The BANE OF MY EXISTANCE. The one who tries to brute force a lock/hidden door. The one the people on the mic yell at.

Wakamatsu: The one who’s worried he broke it. Fake book opens up? OH MY GOD I BROKE IT IM SO SORRY. Globe was actually a secret compartment? I DIDNT MEAN TO IM SORRY.

Hori: The one who gets way into the theming. If there’s a prop jacket he probably put it on. He plays along with the game masters over the mics. He gets free hints bc he’s a good sport.

Mayu: The accidental puzzle solver. The one who moved something purely just to touch it and oops looks like it was the secret lever. Messes around with a lock while trying to think about a puzzle? Oh look it’s open. Causes problems for game flow but not on purpose. Will probably re lock the padlock and pretend he never solved it.

Mikorin: The anxious guy. Worried the game masters will judge him for asking for a hint. Constantly scared something will jump out at him. The guy in the haunted ones who goes “nope not today I changed my mind I don’t wanna hunt ghosts”. Lives for the museum/casino heist ones though.

Kashima: The one who actually solves the problems. Tries to let others have a chance but eventually it’ll be 5 minutes left and she has to speed run the room bc everyone else took too long.

Headcanons about people just adopting Mikorin plz?

He is baby ™

Mikorin doesn’t MEAN to accidentally get people to adopt him

It just kinda. Happened.

It usually goes like this. Mikorin will do his flirting thing, panic, hide, get found, and said person who found him will go “ah Shit. Well guess I need to protect him”

He’s got six or seven various classmates who aren’t really his FRIENDS but they will try to subtly make sure he’s okay.

The whole drama club is part of the “Mikoshiba Protection Squad”

The irony is Mikorin has ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA about this.

He’s completely oblivious that not only do most people know he’s full of shit but that they’re okay with it.

Kashima is well aware of this phenomenon but isn’t gonna say shit about it bc he’s her friend and she wants him to be protected.

Nozaki and Chiyo figured it out later but let it slide, Nozaki ended up using it in his manga bc of course he did.

Hori is part of the phenomenon. He has no explanation WHY but he is compelled to protect Mikorin.

So we have superhero Nozaki. Magaka/student by day, superhero by night.

Man doesn’t get a lot of sleep.

And then we have supervillain Seo.

Or well more accurately “was originally a hero so they know each others identities but found being a hero super boring so now she does whatever she wants” Seo.

Yeah. Nozaki hates her.

Sadly they’ve got mutual friends.

Mainly in Chiyo and Wakamatsu.

So their battles half the time go something like this.

“IVE GOT YOU NOW VILLAIN. SURRENDER AND STOP YOUR-wait is this….”

“The apartment building of the creep who followed Chiyo home? Yeah.”

“Oh. Okay. That guys apartment ONLY.”

“Ugh fine. You’re no fun”

“Wait wait wait you can’t blow me up!”

“And why not. You tried to make a death ray!”

“It’s Waka’s turn to pick for movie night and he gets sad if not everyone is there.”

“Shit that’s tonight?”

“You’re hosting!”

“IVE BEEN BUSY”

Or the ever funny

“…I can’t believe I’m saying this but I need your help.”

“Oooooh meathead’s finally joining the fun side?”

“Shut up no. I don’t know what to get Chiyo for her birthday and the party’s in two hours.”

“Well I can’t help you there. I’ve already got her gift.”

“What are you ACK! Are these ropes? What the hell Seo?!”

“You’ll thank me later. Now stay still and put on this bow.”

“Relax. I’m just gonna tell her I saved you from Destructor and that your gift to her got lost.”

They do occasionally actually join forces though.

“Look Meathead, I’m not happy about this either but some lowlife villain stole Waka so I need your help getting him back.”

“WHAT?! Wakamatsu got kidnapped?! Where is he?!”

“Chill out. I’ve got the location from the tracker in Waka’s phone I just need your help getting past the lackies.”

“…you have a tracker on Waka’s phone?”

“I have a tracker on all my friends phones”

“Do you have a tracker on my phone?”

“Don’t flatter yourself I wouldn’t waste a tracker”

Later after they save Waka

“Wow Destructor and Captain Tokyo(idk man I can’t think of a good name)! Thank you for saving me!! It’s amazing to see you two working together! Maybe with you two working together that will inspire other people to work with people they don’t like! Like I have these two friends Nozaki and Seo they don’t like each other that much but maybe this will inspire them!”

“…Wakamatsu you don’t know what you’re talking about you still have knockout gas in your system.”

“Maybe! But I can dream can’t I?”

“Don’t hold your break cupcake. This is a one time thing working with this idiot”

“…and we’re back to this. Okay. You have 2 minutes before I drag you to the authorities along with that guy.”

I got mildly carried away with this idea but it’s just really funny to me.

Horikashi + music

We all know Kashima can’t sing for shit, but she has really good taste in music and will make Hori playlists with names like “For when youre mad at me <3” and “Short king music”. Hori saves all of them.

I love your blog and I just saw your Chiyo and Hinata Family AU and am dying laughing at Sakura beating up Kageyama (and my money would've been on her in a fight lol)

I’m glad you like it! It’s a random thing that I thought of one day and now it’s a weird staple of this dumb blog. I am single handedly driving this crossover boat and I regret nothing.

Also I have so many thoughts on Chiyo fighting the Hinata Haram ™ so headcanon time.

People Sakura Chiyo has tried to fight and did she win

1. Miya Atsumu

She went to ONE Karasuno vs Inarazaki game, immediately hated the guy.

Granted this fighting was partially also Mikorin helping(while hiding behind Ennoshita) and mostly was some choice words but Atsumu doesn’t forget it and avoids her like the PLAGUE

Once Hinata joins MSBY and they spend more time together And Atsumu chills the fuck out they get along fine but he’s always a little scared of her

2. Aone Takanobu

It was a very short fight and fight is used very loosely.

Basically she thought he was threatening Hinata bc…c’mon look at his face.

He has resting “I’m going to fight you” face

It got resolved very quickly.

They’re good friends.

3. Tsukishima Kei

This…was a long time coming.

TLDR Nozaki went to visit a training camp to get reference photos without getting in the way of official games and the Mangang tagged along

Tsukki was being…well Tsukki and Chiyo just. Snapped.

It took the combined effort of Akaashi, Bokuto, Nozaki, Hori, and Kashima to stop her. Kuroo and Seo were too busy laughing.

Tsukki does not say SHIT around Chiyo anymore.

Man’s salty but he has self preservation.

4. Kageyama Tobio

The one we’ve all been waiting for.

This was the culmination of Hinata complaining about Kags plus Chiyo observing their dynamic

One day when visiting practice she just went OFF on Kageyama.

Got up in his space, yanking on his shirt so he’d actually be eye level with her.

“Look not everybody is naturally talented and just because you’ve never had to work for anything doesn’t give you the right to be mean to people trying and having real passion and if you’re going to be like this then you should just stop playing volleyball because you clearly don’t care about the sport like you say you do”

Cue a SILENT GYM.

It was an awkward rest of practice but Chiyo stood her ground.

Eventually they did talk it out but yeah Chiyo doesn’t like Kageyama.

WakaSeo + children (other ppl kids)

Wakamatsu is that person who kids like but he immediately panics the second he’s near a kid bc “oh my god what if I say something what if I drop it what do you say to a kid”.

Seo is the person who says she doesn’t like kids but ends up the honorary big sister of like every neighborhood kid and if anyone fucks with them she will fight.

Some of the older kids have bets going on when the two will get together.

So Kuroo and Seo are that friend combo that has mutual friends and said mutual friends are doing EVERYTHING THEY POSSIBLY CAN to make sure they do not meet

That friend is Kashima

Bc Kashima and Kuroo have a friendship. And Kashima and Seo have a friendship. And Kashima has sworn to never have the two meet.

They met.

Kuroo saw this absolute gremlin of a person yeet a ball in Tsukishima’s face and just went “New best friend c’mon Kenma we have a new friend”

Kenma meanwhile looked at Seo and went “nope fuck this shit”

Kuroo is the type of person to know that something is a bad idea and do it anyway vs Seo won’t even realizing something is a bad idea.

He’s an enabler basically.

Kuroo’s newest hobby is introducing his volleyball buddies to Seo and because he thinks it’s the funniest shit.

She called Bokuto a himbo. Kuroo laughed so hard he had to lie on the floor for a little.

She called Tsukishima a “gangly little bitch” and Kuroo had to leave the room to calm down and will bring it up CONSTANTLY

They TERRORIZE people together. Seo accidentally Kuroo 100% on purpose.

Main targets being Wakamatsu, Tsukishima, and Mikorin.

While poor Kenma and Kashima just sit back watching the carnage and doing absolutely nothing to stop it bc it is not their problem.

This is such a random headcanon but I’m gonna go with it.

Waka actually has a good singing voice so to impress Loralai(who he has yet to actually realize is Seo) he stood outside the choir room and serenaded her. With the door closed. Bc he’s dumb. Seo enjoyed it and brings it up constantly to tease him but she did enjoy it.
