Last night had a lot of new and new old music with the 1989 rerecordings and vault and the Maisie Peters' The Good Witch vault so let me rank the new music and gather thoughts.

1989 Vault track rankings

Overall the Vault was had high highs but was otherwise... Lackluster? Speak Now is still the best overall vault imo by far. But Red has my favorite vault tracks(MITB, TVFN, ATW10), and I can see Slut joining her older sisters. The rerecordings were fine. Style seems off. But otherwise they're there to listen to when I want. Actually, I Know Places goes hard. YAIL sounds just like the original and it fills me with cozy warmth. I actually listen to Fearless and Red TV a lot more than I listened to the OGs at the end and I could see myself rotating some more 1989 back in now that, well, it's Taylor's.

Truth Is("Time will heal/but I'll always be a bit broken" describes the stage I'm in. I've healed but I miss him some evenings. I feel broken. But now that he's hurt me so badly I will never be full like I was pre-him. And judging from the last time we met after those emails, he thinks there's no wounds or grudges)

Tbh TGW vault>1989. But that's also because I see a lot of similarities between what he did and what Maisie's boyfriend did. And her music was the first safe thing that let me think over the cold truth not the rose colored glasses. And so this is such a special and relatable arc for me. And I was never a Haylor so it's like meh(jkjkjkjk but also maybe kinda?)

Honestly though, 2023 has been one of the best music years for me not going to lie at all. Everything coming out has been solid af. It's been a very good content year in general I think.

So I’m watching Money In The Bank 2014 and when Seth came out the announcer said he weighed 117 pounds. I even checked the captions and it said the same thing. I feel like that’s wrong, like maybe they meant 170?  Like if that boy weighed 117 pounds he’d’ve been flung out of the ring every two seconds, ahaaaa
