The MacOS 15 ( Sequoia ) | My Thoughts

I have updated my MacBook Air M1 to the latest developer beta macOS 15 Sequoia version at the time the update was given. Initially, it has some really good bugs as expected. Some new things are there, but those are so much little compared to the sacrifice. I have to give to use the beta version.

It seems like there are very little updates. Let me go one by one. The camera feature is updated and now we can set background by default and it just worked fine.

Another update is the game porting tool kit 2. I haven't tried any game yet but as my experience, the games I have played earlier I cannot play now for some reason.

The Siri is now the fastest ever I've seen. This is one of the positive side of this update. I am really thrilled about the Apple intelligence coming out next year. I think that that would be a very good update from Apple in last decade.

Now take a look about the sacrifices and problems.

First of all the wallpaper got sucked. Apple really made the wallpaper. I trash because it doesn't work properly. Even even now at the time I am typing this. The wallpaper is not moving live. I have complained this to Apple feedback.

Another thing is GoPro Webcam. The GoPro Webcam feature just doesn't work right right now now. Now it is a bummer for me because I didn't know how to fix it and it should work perfectly, but it didn't.

And as always for all beta updates, it consumes more battery and which is of course hurtful to your battery life. Although I haven't checked my MacBook battery life yet after the beta update.

Another feature was to emulate PS3 games (PlayStation 3). I've tried to emulate that, but it doesn't work. I hope that the RCPS3 look after this issue and fix it as soon as possible.

But the biggest problem is the XAMPP server problem. Run the PHP local server in your Mac. It is not possible by the XAMPP but it's possible with the MAMPP.

So of course, before you update your Mac mind these problems before it updates.
