Was there a fanfic that you read that made you legitimately cringe

There's three of them, and only one of them was a good kinda cringe. Like, the author intended it.

The first was the previously mentioned Markapoo fic.

Next is a RWBY cop au with Arcwitch that just does cop things wrong.

And the last is a specific fandom's fic that involves very serious and uncomfortable topics that the author makes you feel uncomfortable for the entire time. I don't want to call it out, but just know that what happens in there is very... wrong.

I hope you are feeling better from COVID. I finally finished drawing Mishal Diaz with another Markapoo kids, Seraph helping him with his baking activity by decorating a cake. And another Markapoo kid, Onyx appears out of the portal. It would be nice to see a kitchen in the Markapoo Base for Mishal to bake out of relaxation after doing his responsibilities for his childhood friend, Mara Dorothy Butterfly.

Sangria

My Markapoo child! Well, she’s like a 20-something-year-old adult. She’s from Carina’s dimension. She was conceived during the end of Marco’s scissor-earning adventures. When Hekapoo found out she was pregnant (one of her duplicates transferred the pregnancy to her) she went to tell Marco just to found out that not only did his body turn back to a 14-year-old’s, but his mind too. The memories created in her realm had faded considerably and he didn’t even remember just how involved they were. So she went back home and never told him.

Hekapoo couldn’t handle being a single mom and decided to put her up for adoption. She took her to Earth, a safer dimension, and left her on the steps of an adoption center in the middle of the night with nothing but a letter stating her name and birthday.

Later a couple came across her. They were crazy and believed Sangria to be a gift from the gods to be their new lord and savior. They took Sangria and raised her, worshipping her and starting a cult in her name and image. As a result, Sangria grew up narcissistic and arrogant, believing herself to be the most powerful being on Earth and humanity’s ruler.

That is, until she meets her mother.

She doesn’t take it well. Hekapoo looks like her and has her powers: she’s not the one and only or even that important in the grand scheme of things. She hates Hekapoo, who is desperately trying to reconnect with her daughter. It only gets worse when Sangria discovers her father is Marco Diaz, King of Mewni. As Marco’s firstborn, she believes herself to be heir to the throne and is one of many desperate to steal it from Carina.

8 Facts about César and Sugar

I thought since I posted this to DevArt, I might as well bring it on Tumblr. :) Facts about Sugar

1. She is quite talented in magic (not nearly as much as her mother though), but for some reason her spells always end up being somehow related to undead or spooky stuff. For example, her Narwhal Blast fires little ghost narwhals. 

2. Her wand can function as a pen as well as a microphone (she speaks into the skull and it amplifies her voice magically). Those abilities come very handy in one of her hobbies: Stand-Up comedy. 

3. Her wand tastes like chocolate mixed with chili. 

4. She is a huge prankster and loves to make people laugh. Though sometimes she also pulls pranks as a plot of revenge - and those go horribly wrong all too often. 

5. She was the one who encouraged Loki to get his iconic green hair, as a huge middle finger to people who criticize him for barely having any demon blood in his veins. She got her side-cut the same day - her hair actually went all down to her knees! 

6. Despite her kinda rebellious way of thinking and representing, she actually enjoys being a princess and does prepare herself for being the future queen. She simply holds the believe that one cannot be a good ruler while putting up an act constantly. 

7. She hates nachos with cheese. Nachos with salsa sauce are okay, but she hates it when they lose their crunch. 

8. The only things she likes to read are comic books. Her favorite super hero is "Basilisk", a man with an exoskeleton, who paralyzes criminals with electric shocks.

Facts about César

1. He has a very expressive body language, making it difficult for him to lie. Especially his ears tend to flop around depending on the mood - down for sad, up for excited, back for angry etc.

2. He is a somnambulist. This habit first showed when he was a little kid, but stopped when he reached puberty. Since he came to Mewni, he started to sleepwalk again.

3. His body is really sensitive to cold temperatures and he gets sick easily in winter. Hot temperatures on the other hand are no problem - he is literally fire-proofed.

4. There was a time where he wasn't nearly as shy and anxious as he is today. In fact, he was a very lively and adventurous kid. That did not change until half a year ago, where his friendship with Robin Raventalon ended.

5. He also had a huge weeaboo phase but now has a distaste for Anime and Manga.

6. He does know his father is married to another woman and doesn't know about his existence, which is why he never tried to reach out for him. What he did not know, however, was the fact that he had a half-sister.

7. He is arachnophobic.

8. One of his most beloved birthday presents is a "dimensioscope", which allows him to gaze into different dimensions. It was a gift from Rhombulus and Omnitraxus Prime, which is the reason why it even works despite the time anomalies throughout the dimensions.
