El presente registro corresponde a un concierto realizado en el Teatro Colón el 2022, en Argentina. Se trata de la última presentación de Martha Argerich en el marco del festival dedicado a su figura.

Hoy, 5 de junio, es el cumpleaños de Martha Argerich y ella indómita incluso frente al tiempo.

Este Andante forma parte de las grabaciones del primer recital solista de Martha Argerich, a sus 24 años. Las grabaciones pertenecen a un fragmento del archivo sonoro del Teatro Colón que ha permanecido oculto durante años y que ahora se encuentra disponible a todo publico.

Dentro del material disponible hasta ahora hay grabaciones de Astor Piazzola y su Conjunto 9, fragmentos de Norma de Bellini durante las actuaciones de María Callas en 1949, un concierto de Horacio Salgan y su Orquesta, con Roberto Goyeneche y Edmundo Rivero en 1972, y más.
