Otra gran actuación (en este caso en audio y vídeo) de otra buena banda de la new wave, los canadienses Martha and The Muffins. A este grupo muchos lo recuerdan exclusivamente por su obra maestra "Echo Beach", pero tienen un primer LP, "Metro Music", 1980; y un tercero, "This Is the Ice Age" de 1981 muy recomendables. En esta actuación de 1980 en París se despachan tres canciones de su ópera prima, la citada "Echo Beach", "Saigon" y un arrasador "Paint by Number Heart".

Sobre M&TM he leído cosas como "Blondie wannabes" y tonterías similares que verdaderamente no entiendo. ¿Porque hacían pop rock de la nueva ola? ¿porque cantaban dos hembras, las dos Marthas, Johnson y la paje Ladly?. Vengaa... Que venga alguien y me pinte un plano, por favor.
