• Cathleen do likes to travel, She enjoys a break from work (when She has one) so when you invited her to your country she was like an exited puppy, there was a month before the flight and she already knew basic Words, places she would like to see, food she would like to eat and that little data You can find in the touristic videos. It was cute tbh, it reminded You Of a kid on Disney.

•When both Of You arrived, She was ecstatic, Even if there was some sad things, like homeless people on the Main city, She would kindly give Them some money. You Didnt had the chance to change the dollars for pesos, so lets say that those homeless people were really really happy. (At the time i'm writing this, one dollar is equivalent of 890 pesos argentinos)

• For her, the food Is absolutely heavenly. She Isnt very picky With food, and the fact that is the food of Your land makes her like it even more. It's obvious that She likes asado, but She was amazed to see lots and lots of artisanal ice cream places. There was a gummy bear flavor in one of those places!

• Lets Say You wake up at Night only to find her infront of the fridge With a empanada on her mouth (sin doble sentido)

• You were driving to a little town that had a lagoon. San Miguel del Monte, a gorgeous place. Then You asked her "Gorda me cebas unos mates?" She then abruptly looked at You, confused "Did You just called me Fat?"

You then explained her that Gorda can Mean fat, but in argentinian mannerisms it is a pet name, like a "dearie/dear". You also explained that the word Torta means cake, but in argentinian mannerisms it also means Lesbian. She then let a loud "ooohhhhh i understand now!", She's very eager to learn and understand the jokes that your friends made. "If i'm a cake then... What cake would You think i would be?" - She said, in a joking manner with a smug smile. What cake would She be?

• Cassie dressed like a gaucho dancing "chacarera del olvido" with Y/N dressed up as a paisana.. She would try her hardest to dance, and she actually does decently! The shy look an her face after it is priceless! Please fill her face With kisses and tell her She made it right! (SOMEONE PLEASE DRAW THAT)

• She would use the Boca Juniors oversiced shirt you gifted her as a Pijama. Imagine the sight Of her with that shirt and her undies. Her face still groggy as She asks You if there are some remaining coquitos bc She LOVES THEM.

• Imagine her in a typical party, the saturated cumbia on the speakers, then. El carnaval carioca.

• She would be confused, but trying Her best. Someone gave her a matraca and some silly spectacles. She looks so cute yet ankwardly trying to blend in, the Mountain of a woman in the train of party people, she looks at you with a face that screams "take me out of here, im confused and scared", but when the ankwardness goes away, She enjoys the party. But She's still confused about the Meneaito. If You want to laught Your ass off and then get punished in bedroom by her, make her dance alongside the family. Don't forget to record her!

• As an important person, She attended some military parties, and got interested in learning the history of the land of her beloved. Because it's not only gauchos and meat. Not even tango!

• She got herself like five books, which She reads at night (With her reading glasses, that make her look 20/ more hotter). She wants to know more of the woman She loves and swears to protect, and part of her is the history of the land that saw her grow.

• Cathleen wants to be an expert in the T/N subject, not only her tastes and body languaje, She want to know what You learned at school when You were little, those nostalgic flavors you tasted, those party nights that left You dysphonic,and much more. Cassie wants to know her little Star like the palm of her hand<3

27. What do you listen to while writing?

Honestly I tend to work best in silence. Which really limits my options since I live beside a junkyard and it's... noisy. If I'm trying during the day or I'm really struggling with my thoughts not letting me put anything on paper tho, I tend to look for a white noise video or calm soundtracks from videogames, haha. It works sometimes!

29. Favorite line/passage you wrote this year?

I kinda lost it and had a moment about Tibarn and Reyson. I think I already shared it before, but I feel like I ate with this tbh:

Ashera doesn’t know what it’s like to feel the power of a feather-light touch as heavy as iron gauntlets on a gasping jaw. She’ll never know the exhilaration running through his blood as his fingers pull on hair, as the grunts he hears in response make him feel powerful. As his weakness becomes strength. She’ll never know what it’s like to have a king on his knees. The goddess doesn’t know a damn thing about devotion.

Eu também nunca ouvi falar desse jogo. Já tinha visto algo da Nasira uma vez que eu tava lendo sobre a wikia do Jafar mas, sabe aqueles detalhes que não ficam presos na memória? Pois é. Daí eu nem me toquei que o fato do Jamil ter uma irmãzinha (na época antes do evento dele) fazia referência a isso.

E na verdade, comparando elas duas, eu consigo ver a inspiração mais e mais. É simplesmente incrível o trabalho que twst tem nessas pequenas coisas, eu fico abismada

Twisted Wonderland não é apenas um jogo mano, é um lugar onde eles ressuscita personagens "apagados" da Disney.

Alguns minutos atrás, eu me deparei com um link do pixiv cheio de fanarts dos personagens encarando as inspirações deles (ou possíveis, no caso de alguns).

Só que aí chegou Najma, irmã do Jamil, e ela estava em frente a uma mulher que nunca tinha visto. Então, eu fui pesquisar se existe alguma irmã do Jafar que nunca encontrei e ela existe 🤡

Para as pessoas que não a conhecem como eu, o nome dela é Nasira, e aparentemente ela só apareceu em um jogo chamado Nasira's Revenge. Eu achei incrível que até mesmo a Najma teria inspiração em alguém pra ser criada.

Today, Live, the fruition of a long-held visualization. Years ago, J David Farrell sent me Wild Bird. I became obsessed with Wendy Waldman. Wendy's songs have garnered a Grammy nomination, she's written multiple platinum-selling hits, has recorded a ton of her own music, as well as written and produced a wealth of music across genres.

Wendy co-wrote the iconic Vanessa Williams hit, Save the Best for Last, with songwriters Phil Galdston and John Lind, which was a #1 record that garnered a Grammy nomination as well ASCAP's Song of the Year. The same team had a worldwide hit with Vanessa Williams’ follow-up, The Sweetest Days, as well as the Aaron Neville hit, I Owe You One. Wendy also received the Wrangler Award from the Cowboy Hall of Fame for her song, Corn, Water and Wood, co-written with Carol Elliot and recorded by Michael Martin Murphey.

Wendy's father, Fred Steiner, was a composer who wrote, among other things, the Perry Mason theme. He also composed the music for episodes of Star Trek, Gunsmoke, Rocky and Bullwinkle, and The Twilight Zone. Wendy's grandfather, George Steiner, wrote music for the original Laurel and Hardy and animated features such as Betty Boop. It's in her DNA.

Wendy's first album, Love Has Got Me, was released in 1973, it was proclaimed by Rolling Stone to be the singer-songwriter debut of the year. She was the youngest member of the Warner Bros. brain trust - a group of artists who were known for their innovative approaches to music. The pack included Maria Muldaur, Randy Newman, Ry Cooder, Captain Beefheart, and Van Dyke Parks. Wendy toured extensively throughout the U.S. in the 70s, headlining her own shows as well as opening for artists such as Al Stewart and Linda Ronstadt.

Moving to Nashville in the early 1980s - Wendy wrote numerous hit songs, toured with country artists, and participated in record production and television work. There were some seventy-plus Wendy Waldman songs recorded during this period, including the multi-platinum Nitty Gritty Dirt Band classic “Fishin’ In The Dark” (which Wendy co-wrote with Jim Photoglo) and several other hit singles and BMI Million-Air award winners. Wendy began producing for other artists, one of her earliest productions is the now-classic Suzy Bogguss album Somewhere Between, which won the Academy of Country Music's New Artist Award in 1989.

In 2007, Wendy released My Time In The Desert, her first album of solo material since 1987’s Letters Home. The LP featured her own versions of Save the Best For Last and Fishin in the Dark, as well as the hit, You Plant Your Fields. Following the release of the long-awaited Desert, Wendy formed The Refugees with Cidney Billens ( a great new friend of mine), and Deborah Holland. With nineteen solo albums and multiple Grammy nominations between them, the multi-faceted trio burst onto the Americana scene with their rocking country-folk sound, releasing two critically-acclaimed albums (with more on the way) and touring the U.S. consistently.

A partial list of Wendy’s credits as a record producer includes projects for John Cowan (New Grass Revival, Doobie Brothers); Karla Bonoff; Bryndle; The Refugees; Deborah Holland; The Forester Sisters; Matraca Berg; The Ozark Mountain Daredevils; Jonathan Edwards; Sweden’s Elisabeth Andreasson; The Sweethearts of the Rodeo; Ronny Cox; the final album from acoustic guitar genius Artie Traum; and Polish music superstar Mietek Szczesniak. In addition to her production work, Wendy writes and composes music for television and film. Her songs have been placed in numerous hit shows and movies.

Wendy’s studio has been the home of the venerated KFPK folk music show, Folk Scene. Wendy is also a member the legendary HB Barnum’s Life Choir, with whom she and Mietek Szczesniak collaborated with on the 2020 single “There’s Water For You.” The collective is working together on material for a full length album.

Wendy is currently working on her next solo LP. So far, she has released five singles from the anticipated forthcoming project. The album’s single, The Train Is Leaving, is my latest obsession.

I've been chasing Wendy for years on The Facebook. So looking forward to this sit-down at last, and, with luck, we'll get to hear a couple of her spectacular tunes live.

Day 5: Hair/Truama. A future snippet from my Ageswap au fic, Black Sweatshirt.

Blue eyes widen, and Teru takes in a deep breath….

Before flinging his hand forward, covering Reigen in a triple reinforced barrier. Right as the yellow wraps around the middle schooler, the energy in front of them shivers, black hair wild as it explodes, shattering the windows behind him. Teru throws his arms up in front of his face, hissing in pain as glass shards slice his arms, his legs, his torso, his hair. His skin burns as tiny cuts scrape across his scalp.

Suddenly the energy freezes in midair, shards shimmering in the light from the now gaping hole at the front of the building. Then, like the start of rain, glass starts to fall to the floor, large and small pieces scattering around them. Time hangs like a clock unable to hit the next hour and Teru slowly lowers his arms, bits of his brightly colored button-down drifting from his elbows to the floor. Blood trickles down from his forearms and a gash from his temple blurs his vision red. Teru opens his mouth to speak but instead stumbles backwards as air breaks out of his lungs. He reaches up, his hand shaking as it runs along jagged cuts of hair.

A gasp in front of him and Teru’s eyes dart up, meeting horrified deeper reds.

Okay I finally am getting around to this post! It's the 'Fuck how can mob psycho help me in so many ways god damnit I hate and love this show' post!

Shigeo joining the body improvement club, and everything about this part of his story is so personal to me. I just have to talk about it.

So as we all know at the start of the story, Shigeo joins the body improvement club to impress Tsubomi. Thats it. Thats the goal. He also joins because he wants to get stronger and not rely on his psychic powers but really like...the main reason is to impress her.

And this isn't new. A character wanting to get fit, lose weight, change some physical part of themselves for a crush is SO common in stories that you barely notice it.

But what I love, what I ADORE is how this progresses and changes.

I just am. I just am dying while running, I just am making progress, I just am enjoying this because I really like it.

This puts everything I feel into visuals (it's so gooooood watch the AMV!!! DO IIIIIIT)

So many times society tells us to change something about ourselves, or we tell ourselves to change for the appeal of others.

Lose weight so people think you're pretty.

Get fit so you can get into clothes that make you look hot.

Get swol to make a person think you're attractive.

You are the one and only you, this is your one and only body. So why are you working out, why do you WANT to get "swol" who are you trying to impress. Is it for yourself? A crush? Society?

I have battled with the above for so long. I come from an athletic background, and did a lot of sports growing up, but I have never been small. I have battled with weight my whole life and had my own shitty bouts with ED.

I have been in therapy, I have read books, I have watched videos, I've been in and out of PT for nearly 5 years because of a lower back and hip pain that NEVER went away.

I never figured out WHY i wanted to exercise. It just always was "To lose weight" because I couldn't get that goal out of my head for years and years and years.

But then I watched mob psycho 100.

And I started a new type of physical therapy.

And was it mp100 or was it the therapy finally working, who can say which did it—probably both—but one day I thought...

....maybe I should just go for a run...for 5-10 mins. Just to see how it feels. It went against all parts of my athlete brain (because 10 mins is too short to see "gains"....which is dumb but whatever)

I thought of Shigeo and how he basically passed out every time he ran for like 2 mins, but he got better. He had to start from 0, well...kinda like negative 5 really. But then he was doing so much not even a few months in!

35 pushups is so hard!!! You go my boi.

Shigeo started off doing it all for Tsubomi, for others, and even if he really wanted to do it to improve himself I think it was a secondary goal initially. Main goal was to impress someone. Secondary was to get stronger.

But then the marathon happened. And those goals SWITCHED! DURING THE RACE! just....man it hit me. It hit me hard. THAT WHOLE EPISODE IS JUST A LOT FOR ME GOD DAMN

He ran for her initially but he continued running for himself. He continued working at it because he wanted to and in the end, after everything, after confession arc, after all that

This scene!!! makes me cry happy tears!! look at how happy he is UGH IT JUST IS SO UGGGHHHHHHH

Anyway if you made it this far, know that everyones journey through their body improvement, mental improvement, emotional improvement is different. We all have to tackle it in the way that works for us.

It took me nearly 10 years to start again because of this beautiful anime connecting the right dots in my brain.

Every journey is different, but just keep fighting on and you'll figure it out!

Summary:

Suddenly, the room starts to glow as a blue, purple and pink aura leaks from Shigeo’s skin. It flutters around his shoulders, like a kaleidoscope of butterflies, and his eyes begin to shimmer like garnets in the light of it.

The blush on Teru’s face heightens and he can feel the blood rush down his neck. He is staring, he knows it, but he is completely enraptured.

Everytime he thinks maybe he got over his middle school crush, Shigeo goes and drags him back in.

OR

Teru cries as his best friend (and crush) shows him something beautiful to cheer him up.

Also I dunno if what I write is body horror or just regular old descriptions but I'll tag just in case. Also I used to never share these but...I am kinda proud of these crazy writings I do. So. Yeah.

If panic attacks are triggering maybe don't read.

Anxiety is eating him alive.

It crawls through his skin like worms through soil, burrowing its way upwards and settling in his chest. He feels sick, his fingers rattling and ribs tightening like a rope around his bones. His insides are rippling with hums and wheezes and he can’t breathe.

Teru doesn’t know what to do with anxiety.

It’s like his body is being eaten from the inside out, rusted talons scraping out his ribs for meat. Dull as they dig into his liver and the bottom of his spine. Blood rushes away from extremities and his head lightens and maybe he will pass out that would be nice but there is nowhere to go. He can’t seem to shake it. He needs to get things done. But his brain is rampaging with thoughts and ideas and he can’t seem to sit still, legs shaking, fingers clawed.

He is distracted but aware, fully present but his mind is lost in space. Nothing is working, like dragging his feet through the mud. Pouring buckets of sand into his eyes and ears and the thoughts are so loud and screaming at him. Crystals pierce the sides of his tear ducts. He wants to call for help, but he wants to talk to no one. He desires a hug, but also wants to go out and find a random ex-CLAW and punch them so hard they fly into the sky.

Panic is settling in.

He is so exhausted.

His powers barely register under his skin.

He never used to feel anxiety when the world was moving so fast and he had no time to even think about being anxious. But now, it is like an extra layer on top of his skin weighing him down. Was it better when I ran off of adrenaline? He thinks briefly before quickly shaking his head.

No no, that was worse.

He knows that was worse.

It was worse

….right?

But at least it made sense before.

You get chased, you run. You get attacked, you fight back.

Not like whatever convoluted hellscape this is where he feels like he just ran a marathon but is sitting at his desk, homework laid out in front of him, hand fisted in blonde hair that comes loose from his sad excuse for a ponytail. He pulls at his hair, noting as some locks come out. He tosses them to the side, the blonde strands floating to the floor.

He is behind in every class, and no matter what he does, he can’t seem to catch up. He can’t seem to figure out why.

He keeps using his powers to get to school faster because he is sleeping in too much.

His powers are drained and he knows it but he just just barely treading through waves.

All he wants to do go over to the Kageyama’s and play video games with them and Shou, and eat too much and be too full and stay up so late that he starts to imagine that the walls are moving into shapes of figures he can’t describe. Shadows and molten black and figures that reach for him but then he feels the flutter or purples and greens and reds from his friends and everything settles back into the walls from where it came.

If he could just take in a full breath maybe he'll be okay.
