Hãy tìm hiểu lý do vì sao nhé!

Dreamforce 2017: Philanthropy for B2B at the helm, here's why
Working together has always been productive, and when that’s for the greater humane good, it works even better. During Dreamforce 2016, attendees worked together to help RED in their fight against AIDS. In 2017, Dreamforce is championing the social cause of equality in education and opportunities for all.
MTA was in conversation with some industry experts to delve into how Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is becoming an integral part of B2B organizations and what lies in the bigger picture of such initiatives.
What is Salesforce’s motivation for investing in this kind of funds?
Michael Fauscette, Chief Research Officer, G2 Crowd:
Overall the fund and its focus on workforce development, equality, sustainability, and the social sector fit with the company’s goals to use company resources to support social initiatives. The fund also fits into the Salesforce Ventures charter of investing in technology built on the Salesforce platform, which encourages the use of the platform and accelerates its growth.
Will Wu, Senior Director and Leader, West Monroe Partners’ (San Francisco office), and multi-year veteran of Dreamforce:
Salesforce has always been a pioneer for social responsibility. Salesforce started the idea of 1-1-1 – donating 1% of profit, 1% of talent, and 1% of time – from a philanthropic standpoint, which is a concept that has since been adopted by many companies including West Monroe and Google. In addition to philanthropy, social responsibility is something that has been driven from Marc Benioff and is core to their culture. You can see many high-profile actions in the news related to this – millions of dollars spent ensuring pay equity between men and women, hiring Tony Prophet as the Chief Equality Officer, etc. Certainly, Salesforce is still a for-profit company, so they do believe that by doing good in their communities it will have a positive financial impact.
Matt Fleckenstein, CMO, Nintex:
Salesforce has always been a socially-conscious driven company. When I worked there as the VP of Product for their marketing and IoT Clouds, I was pleasantly surprised at how ingrained this was in the DNA of the leadership and the employees. They provide not for profits (free) access to their leading cloud services. And, they have developed a model for charitable giving that gives 1% of equity, 1% of profits, and 1% of employee time to charity. This type of fund is just another indication of the strong social responsibility values of the company and its founders.
In terms of reasons for doing this, I think there are several key ones:
1.) To Help Others - Marc is generally a very giving person, who is committed to helping those in need.  You see this through the corporate programs outlined above, but when working there, you routinely hear stories about Marc learning of an individual’s financial hardship and stepping in to help somebody or some group get through it. Marc never talked about it, but his employees sure did.
2.) To Attract/Retain Talent – It is no mystery that today’s workers want to feel like they are part of something bigger than getting a paycheck. They want to feel like they are making a difference in the world. When you are part of a large public software company, it can be difficult to feel like you are having an impact. This new fund is a great way to change and make every employee feel like every dollar of profit helps to drive societal change. This may sound soft, but it matters. I would go back and work at Salesforce in an instant because of this.
3.) To Drive Innovation – Salesforce has a long history of innovation both in terms of its technology/products, but also its business models. This is just another example of them leveraging their core strengths to innovate while doing good in the world along the way.
What do you expect to be the immediate outcome of this initiative, considering Salesforce has still not declared all of the companies that will be receiving funding?
Michael Fauscette:
I’m sure they are seeing a big increase in proposals from early-stage companies, which encourages the development of new, innovative, and socially responsible ideas.
Will Wu:
When Salesforce has invested in other areas in the past, there has been a very disciplined approach to evaluating the companies it wanted to invest in. I’m sure there will be some initial companies announced, but this investment will grow over time as companies look for this type of investment.  Considering the ecosystem that has been built by Salesforce and the AppExchange, I think there will be a very positive impact on companies thinking about how they can impact societal change.
Matt Fleckenstein:
Salesforce has a strong reputation as an early stage venture firm. They were an early investor in my last startup, Amplero, an Artificial Intelligence Marketing company and played a critical role in helping us to get off the ground. That company is now one of the hottest, fastest-growing startups in Seattle. I think the outcome is that they help a handful of early-stage startups that have the potential to drive huge societal change in our world. Because this is being managed through their venture arm, I have great confidence that Salesforce will carefully vet the companies they are investing in, a rigor that will help ensure that a handful of these are wildly successful resulting in a big impact for all of us, as well as future generations.
To date, they have invested in startups ranging from helping address the gender investing gap to helping not for profits connect with their donors to making energy more affordable to off-grid customers. I would expect Salesforce to invest in more companies like this, but also invest additional dollars and human resources (they have a smart, experienced employee talent pool to leverage) to help these companies succeed.
Chris Rothstein, CEO, Groove.co:
The companies to which Salesforce has already committed funding have already started to benefit from this initiative. These companies are so mission-focused that I don't expect the playing field to change much, but I do think the companies who have received the funding currently will be empowered even further to continue the missions they are working toward.
What can tech companies in general gain from partaking in or starting their own CSR initiatives?
Michael Fauscette:
We are definitely seeing more companies step up to support social initiatives, particularly as the US Federal Government cuts back in many related areas. Beyond the social good that the programs support, these initiatives are good for the companies’ reputation and hopefully encourages other corporations to join in.
Will Wu:
I think this is an important differentiator in a very competitive market. The more that employees can feel like the work they do has a broader impact, the more this adds to the satisfaction they get out of being employed, in addition to standard compensation and benefits.
Matt Fleckenstein:
Salesforce consciously decided to have this fund managed by their venture arm to give the companies it invests in the greatest chance at success. Other tech companies can learn a lot right there, as this is a key criterion that may help them decide if such a program is right for their organization. For those who have a venture arm, it likely makes sense. For those who don’t, they may need to consider if they have the right internal DNA to make it successful.
Beyond that, I am confident that Salesforce will figure out a model and some best practices that others can leverage. This is exactly what they have done with their 1/1/1 corporate philanthropy model, and now hundreds of tech companies from around the globe are using their framework/model to do the same in their companies.
Chris Rothstein:
Salesforce started this trend toward CSR initiatives with their 1-1-1 pledge (giving 1% of the time, product and financial resources to organizations doing good in the world), and I think that all companies could benefit from implementing a similar sort of program. Every company can do this kind of initiative; not only is it the right thing to do, but it is also great for helping your company attract people who value these kinds of programs to your organization. At Groove.co, we give discounts to philanthropic organizations using our services, but this kind of initiative can look different for another company. There is something that all companies can do to help out, and Salesforce offers a great model for this in both their 1-1-1 pledge and Impact Fund.

Innerlich überzeugt - Ich will mir heute eine Uhr kaufen.
Hab an fast jeder Aussage was auszusetzen.
"Was soll der Alkohol jetzt bewirken?" Typische Frage von Nicht-Süchtigen. Von Eltern. Therapeuten. Medizinern. 'n Scheiß soll der Alkohol! Es geht ums Saufen. Ums Nachgeben. Ums Schwachsein. Fallenlassen.
Viel gegessen eben.
Etwas Eigenes aufzubauen, erfordert Mut.

Amplero Announces Influencer Optimization Capability
Digital Intelligence Platform, Amplero, has announced its new machine learning-driven Influencer Optimization capability, which is powered by machine learning. It is strongly believed that trends like artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are about to take over the marketing technology marketplace going into 2017. With the promising prospects of ML, the Influencer Optimization capability will enable Amplero to discover its potential customers as well as gain better insights into how to optimize connections and enhance the loyalty and lifetime of customers.
With the present technological innovations, it is easier to measure and initiate interactions between consumers. Hence in order to connect well with the customer base, it is essential to know how customers are connected to each other and fathom the depth and influence of the connections. The new influencer optimization capability will enable Amplero to derive the aggregate behavioral data and judge the influence of the customer over various connections. The new capability will enable marketers to optimize their efforts.
In a release, the company’s chief product officer, Matt Fleckenstein, stated, “When we engage with a new B2C enterprise, the first thing that we do is leverage all of the rich contextual data (persona data, marketing data, point-of-sale data, product/app usage data, etc.) to build a historical, longitudinal view of each customer.” He also added, “In doing so, you get a deep view into changes to a user’s state, such as how a given user’s product/app usage patterns are changing and evolving over time.”
After conducting a study of data from almost 6,000 mobile customers, it was discovered that the ripple effect of tailor-made marketing campaigns with a particular consumer network can lead to a 28% lift. Specifically, Amplero is looking at regular consumers who exercise influence over the brand using the solution. The company looks to capitalize on the potential of machine learning to influence relationships to move beyond simply marketing.
