i've been writing this dumb silly fanfic where my farmer from my first ever farm reincarnated into the farmer for my new 1.6 game and the narrative is all about how the whole world reset because someone fucked up the reincarnation ritual and blah blah it only makes sense to me.

anyway the side plot is everyone in town knows the farmer has a crush on Sebastian, even Sebastian knows and has tried to get the farmer to come out to him but NOPE! "I was your best friend in a past life, abigale remembers and is PISSED i'm back, i am NOT angering her she clearly has magic and I DO NOT" and i'm basing this whole thing on in game actions and events-

I got Sebastian for the winter star "secret friend" gift exchange and the farmer opened that letter, saw the name, and feel to his knees "the whole town knows. everyone knows. and the mayor is making fun of me..." and Maru is like "no! that would be mean! no one is making fun of you!" but no, mayor luis is 100% teasing the farmer because I HAVE WRITEN THIS NARRATITAVE LIKE EVERYONE KNOWS AND THEN THE GAME IS LIKE "hey wouldn't it be great for your fan fic if..."

You think about it so little you don't even realize that an actual Greek person has to read this shit, making it clear how little you actually care about the culture beyond the romanticized (and westernized) mythology. He knocked on the door to his brother’s room. He had been in there for a while, and he wanted to make sure that he wasn’t dying or possessed, both of which were entirely possible, seeing as his brother’s shadow was alive and capable of possessing him. When Hex heard no response, He asked, “Dude, did you die in there, or are you possessed again?” The shadow wasn’t very good at talking, or really functioning, in a human body, and the first time Arson got possessed, Hex had nearly gotten one of his many arms cut off, so he learned that when his brother wasn’t talking right or was moving or acting weird to go and run and hide, because even though he was stronger than Arson (6 arms, all stronger than his brother’s 2, Hex could easily beat Arson in a fight), he was not stronger than The Shadow in Arson’s body.

 So when Arson responded with “Ye a h, I’ m pe r fec tl y fin e, wa nn a co me  i n?” he tried backing away, but he also realized that it could easily break through the door and it just so happened to be right up against it.

 The sound of wood smashing, 5 claws scratch his neck, 5 scratch his face, he goes running, a chase ensues and it wins. Hex is tackled and pinned to the ground and gets stabbed (Punched? Cut? He couldn’t tell, but it was REALLY FUCKING PAINFUL) in the stomach and he passes out.

--------------------------POV-switches-to-Arson-------------------------

 Arson is given back his body and is over his brother’s dying and unconcious body with blood all over his hands. His worst fear is hurting his brother and that is very clearly what happened here. He starts shaking and he gets off of Hex hoping that he’s ok. He lays down his brother’s limp body (corpse? He was getting very pale) in a better spot, steadies his hands, and unbuttons his shirt.

 It was BAD. Like, “if the bleeding didn’t stop in the next 10 seconds, he would be nothing but a dead body in Arson’s arms“ bad. There was a giant gash (hole? There was so much blood he couldn’t tell) in his brother’s stomach. His shirt was already soaked through with blood before it was taken off. Arson was lucky Hex had run to the kitchen since that was where the bandages were. First he cleaned out the blood from the wound then bandaged it. It wasn’t a hole, thankfully, but 10 GIANT gashes that were INCREDIBLY deep. The cuts on his neck were kinda worrying, but that was easy enough to bandage.

 Arson brought Hex to his bed and went into his own room. He grabbed a pillow and some blankets and went back to Hex’s room to sleep on the floor because there was no way in hell he wasn’t gonna be there when Hex woke up. The two of them could heal pretty fast as long as something wasn’t cut off or out. Hex’s missing eye that was always bandaged was a reminder of that, and their other mutations were a constant reminder of their past.
