It was poor overstressed Red Alert's. He wasn't the last to fall. Megatron's super rut triggered everyone's heat in the end. Even Optimus and Soundwave who were valiantly failing to enforce order with squirt guns and fire hoses. Unfortunately Megatron sparked up everybody

Denji Sentai Megaranger- Character Outfit Designs (Flat color ver.)

So, Initially I was going to release these separately and as more complete/shaded versions. The project kind of got to be a bit too complicated and I ended up being a bit happier with the flat color designs than i did the more finished ones.

So, as for the designs:

-The first two are based on the "School uniform" and "Megaranger" uniforms that appeared in the show.

-The third is a take on the characters wearing the "Power Rangers in Space" (Megaranger's PR counterpart) uniforms

-The Fourth is a casual outfit design by me. (Except for Yuusaku/MegaSilver, which is just the lab-coat alternate outfit).

The last two designs I was planning on using as an art reference for a sort of sequel series fanfic idea I had. But, it hasn't been much more than a few ideas/concepts at this point.

I had an idea for a FS/LU au a while back and wrote a little intro for it! Spoilers for Four swords adventures probably

Characters: Green, Red, Vio, Blue, Ganon

TWs: imprisonment, mind control, blood, injury

Green stared at the plain, lichen-stained bricks, counting them for what must have been the hundredth time. Anything to distract him from the sobbing boy curled up against his side. Green gave Red a half-hearted squeeze. He had given up on trying to cheer up his brother long ago. All he could offer now was a shoulder to cry on.

They had been appointed as smiths for Ganon's new kingdom. They were given two meals a day, a workshop, and two cots with megar blankets.

The second cot had barely been touched since they arrived. Although it was irrational, Green couldn't help but fear that his brother would disappear the moment they let go of each other. He knew Red felt the same.

“At least we have each other,” Green mused. Vio and Blue weren't that lucky. Neither of them had seen Blue since they were captured, and whenever Vio visited it wasn't really Vio. Thoughtful purple eyes were clouded over by an opaque red. Red still believed that Vio was in there, and maintained the hope that maybe, if he tried hard enough, he could break through the spell. Green knew better. Ganon was smart. If Vio was in there, he was buried deep. Their meager connection told him that Blue was upstairs somewhere, and absolutely furious most of the time. The times when he wasn't was when Green worried most.

Green had been mad at Link in the beginning. As time went on, however, he began to realize the futility of it all. Red didn't blame Link, because of course he wouldn't. Eventually, the anger faded and melted into the endless void of numb sorrow.

Red let out a few soft sniffles, having finally cried himself to sleep. Green sighed softly, shifting until he was able to lower Red onto the cot. He needed to finish an order of moblins spears. When he tried to stand, the hand on his arm tightened.

“D’nt leave…” Red mumbled, tears slipping down his cheeks. Green glanced to the workshop, then back to his brother. With a sigh, he lowered himself back onto the cot. Red was already back asleep by the time he brought the blanket over the both of them. Green would just have to finish the spears in the morning.

Late that night, something strange happened. A boy dressed in red shook his brother awake, pointing to a glowing portal in the middle of the workshop.

A boy in blue spat blood onto the arena sand, glaring up at his monstrous audience. Ganon only smiled cruelly, raising his hand to signal the next wave of monsters. The gate began to screech open.

The boy in blue braced himself, only to feel a rush of strange magic appear behind him. He spun to face it, snarl turning to shock when he came face to face with a divine portal. A grin split his bloody face. 

The boy wasted no time. His raised middle fingers lingered when he disappeared into the portal.

A boy in purple walked along empty halls, back straight and eyes glowing red. He carried a set of four identical swords. His eyes widened ever so slightly when the floor disappeared underneath him, and within seconds, he was gone. The portal winked out of existence after him.

Explanation: A few months after FSA (I'm basing this off the manga), Link got really lonely and depressed. In desperation, he pulled the four sword, thus releasing Ganon. Ganon kidnapped the colors and put them in the predicaments you see here. Shadow is dormant for now...

Let me know what you think! This won't become a full work, but I might post some snippets. Feel free to ask me any questions about it or write something in this universe! I think I'm going to call it Four Swords Revival AU.

So I'm three weeks behind the wheel since I refuse to use my megar fastpast coins on LO when there's many other more deserving series, but it REALLY rubs me the wrong way that Hestia's response to her sister (who is clearly going through a lot) wanting her to come look for her daughter is 'okay but if you're smoking I'm not coming.'

Like...what the hell? Okay, you don't have to like smoking, you don't have to like Hera smoking, but there's a time and a place for that sort of thing, and a HELL of a lot better way to address your concerns, rather than going 'i won't help you find your MISSING DAUGHTER WHO'S BEEN FALSLY ACCUSED OF ATTEMPTED REGICIDE because you've been smoking'.

Between this and the coat thing and the hypocrisy of Hestia and Athena's relationship, I really, REALLY do not like how she's been portrayed, and I can't believe I really never noticed before how awful Hestia actually is in LO.

Yeah, IDK if it's just Rachel sticking to her one-note "make the female supporting cast a bunch of bitches" writing or if she's once again trying to "subvert" the original myths (by taking Hestia, beloved goddess of the hearth and home and turning her into someone rude and snippy) but Hestia's character assassination has been bugging the crap out of me too. It just feels so out of left field, and like... again, don't we have enough characters in LO written like this?

Yzla stared at Maddy who kept walking along the megar polluted creek. She tried to act casual but to Yzla who had known her her whole life, it was clear as day that she was nervous.

"You would be a great asset, you know. And Maeve would be so excited if you did."

Silence filled the air as Maddy waited for an answer.

Yzla wasn't sure what to think. Maeve had never been kind and certainly wouldn't be there. Yzla would arguably be in more danger than if solo. Yet something was off about Maddy.

She was shaking, ever so slightly but she was. And when Maddy turned to look at Yzla, she had such sunken eyes. 

"So? Wanna join?"

In that moment, Yzla knew exactly why she was asking. And it was for her benefit, not Yzla's.

Yzla nodded yes.

So the Megamind movie/TV show announcement came out yesterday and there's such a divide within the fandom and so much anger directed at both sides and I just, can't understand why?

People are allowed to have different opinions, people are allowed to be super excited for it and people are allowed to be disappointed in what the trailers are showing.

It's been so long since we got content and you've got people who are so excited to get what we're getting and that's great! That's awesome! We're getting content! But there's also people who wanted more than this, who wanted DreamWorks/Peacock to put more money into this and that's understandable. People who wanted the original voices bc that's what's familiar, that's what they fell in love with. And it's okay that the show is different, but it's also okay for people to be upset at it being different.

I don't think it's greedy or ungrateful. I just think this shows how much people care and how optimistic they were and how hopeful they were. And yeah, some people are being rude about it, but those are very specific cases and generalising either way isn't helping.

Let people love the new content, let people be disappointed. It's okay. We're all going to watch it, and then there will be more divided opinions and that's also okay!

I think keeping hate out of the main tag, especially when Megamind is so big these days, is pretty unavoidable, but adding extra tags to things isn't. Discourse and criticism for the show could be tagged as such (maybe under 'MegaRant'?), and then those who don't want to see that, blacklist those tags. If people aren't tagging things, gently asking them to, and if then they're a dick about it, well the block button is there.

As someone who often loves things others hate, I get the instant defence mechanism, I really do. My URL/Tumblr name is from Button Of Doom, and we all know how well that was received, but I genuinely love that silly little short. And that's okay.

For people who are blaming the animators or blaming those who worked on this at a lower level, aim that disappointment higher if you can, at CEOs and those who just care about shareholders. The film industry at the moment is not a pretty picture and the people with passion are often working as hard as they can with very little time and very little budget.

It's okay to be disappointed, just know who's to blame for it. It's okay to be really excited and then upset at the people shitting on that thing you're excited for. But let's find a way to live in harmony rather than getting angry at each other. And if people don't want to, you're allowed to curate your own experience and block/step away/blacklist, whatever you need to do.

for a few months now i've been trying bathbombs from a specific business in like those "pick a kind" boxes. taking notes on what i like, what i don't. so that i can establish like. a Routine Order. and then when my chronic pain is REALLY bad or i'm sick or i'm jumping out of my skin. i have a box of things i know will smell nice

and to be fair. some of the bathbombs are nice. but some are deeply hit or miss. emphasis on miss.

i just took a delightful 4am bath that was supposed to smell like pomegranate. but, it in fact, smelled like fish oil supplements.

this fascinates me because before it touched water it had an almost overwhelming cranberry/orange/pomegranate smell. like to the point where i thought "ok this is probably going to have to be a cut-in-halfer if i get this kind again"

all of those smells vanished. i was just. in oil.

and there was definitely some sort of oil because when i emerged i was like. slimy.

and because the water was red i just kept thinking of. my megared capsules. even tho those smell more like vanilla than they do fish

"Pom" is going in my Cursed Category alongside "Fun In The Shower" - which astute followers may recall i described as smelling "of parrot oil/dander"

saw you mention PCOS period pain and...

-I know some ppl are against it but as a working college student without the time or resources for special diet n workout routine, the pill actually really helped me! once the hormones are regulated and your period is coming as it's meant to, other things fall into place.

-managing cortisol levels, so getting adequate sleep and actively avoiding stress/anger/frustration. I know it's easier said than done but prioritizing your peace can genuinely help to reduce pain. PCOS causes higher cortisol production and higher cortisol=painful and frequent cramps! other ways to manage it are low intensity workouts (high intensity could raise cortisol!!), less caffeine and alcohol😔, pre and pro biotics and omega 3s!! (I take megared and it's great!)
