This fandom and this show bring me so much joy.

It helps me get on on day to day basis. When I feel like nothing matters and everything is shitty. It's one of the things that bring me comfort.

While Merlin is trending I want to thank the whole Merlin fandom

people who have been with us since 2008 and people who have just started watching, people who have left us too soon but will be forever in our hearts and people who switched fandoms but are still amazing

whereter you create, lurk, cheer or just cry in the corner (most of us have been there lol) every part of the Merlin fandom is always part of our family

even if we have no reason to trend we will always have a reason to celebrate :D

Him: Why did he wind up with Gwen? Don’t get me wrong she seems great and is obviously gorgeous but even as a straight man I could tell he was into Merlin. They had more chemistry than anyone else in the show.

Well, I did start something, but it's harder to set up in reality than in a post about it! Because as soon as this other kingdom tried to use magic, Uther balked and it seems like he'd probably send them on their way if they didn't just pick up and leave. I may rethink the setting and place it after Uther dies or see what else pops out. So maybe someday, though I haven't written in over a week due to a family illness, and I'd really like to keep going with the five chapters I've written of my modern magic AU. But thanks for the encouragement!

Imagine an episode of Merlin where another kingdom comes to visit and they have a court sorcerer. Uther would be furious, Arthur might learn something, and Merlin? He sees a sorcerer standing openly at their liege's side, respected and honored. Something he can only dream of. Is he tempted to tell Arthur? Is he tempted to leave? Does he lose hope for Camelot or find inspiration in seeing how magic is accepted in another kingdom?

Now that I've typed it, I think I might write it! But it would have been a very interesting episode to see, I think.
