This was a surpise! Meta;achi was at Denios Farmers Market in Sacramento one day. I just happen to have my camera. What a show! This band gave it all and had the crowd rocking. They played all the great metal songs like ACDC, Metallica, Kiss! Be sure to check them out as they are on tour now.

I’ve never done a proper piece of art representing my Metalachi persona, The Bride of Cucuy. I’m a little damn late considering that El Cucuy up and left the band. Now I’ve got to come up with something new.

Someone once asked, if I’m Cucuy’s girl does that make me La Llorona? I’m Celtic, so I think I’m more fitting as a banshee. The Bride’s true name is Cliodhna Mac Carog, the banshee known for keening the death of bands whether she meant to or not. Ever come across a 80′s metal band who put out one album and disappeared off the face of the Earth? Cliodhna might have accidentally killed the bassist screaming.

The actual outfit is less revealing, but there were demon head pasties made at some point! (I’ve since re-painted the axe to look more realistic. I also never brought it to concerts, ha ha.)
