Do que não gosta: Brigas e violência, doces, mentiras e jacarés.

Primeira palavra: "Mamãe” - sim, foi mamãe e a Mythis fez questão de comemorar e esfregar na cara do Kael.

Com qual dos pais se parece mais: Tem as bochechas e os olhos da Myt e nariz e boca do Kael. Questão de personalidade... É mais como o Kael do passado, mas com a bondade da mãe dele.

Quem ele gosta mais entre eles: Do pai, Nolan é o grude do pai que deixa a Mythis de bico, porque ela reclama que carregou o moleque por nove meses e agora, fica igual cola no Karbael. 

HC com a criança: Mythis gosta muito de fazer piqueniques em família, mesmo eles sendo famosos (na época de ouro de hollywood) e tendo a vida documentada por paparazzi, ela acha importante que o Nolan crie memórias importantes! Então sempre escolhes lugares afastados com bastante natureza, porque o filho pode correr e ela pode aproveitar com o marido, porque sempre tem uma lembrança estranha que já viveu aquilo.

Nomes: Troye e Verona Yeo Kwon

Do que gosta: Troye: basquete, brincar na água, tudo que envolve chocolate e massa. / Verona: vestidos, jogos de moto, pizza e vitamina de morango.

Do que não gosta: Troye: lugares altos, aranhas, melancia e carne. / Verona: legumes, a cor rosa, cachorros e gritos.

Primeira palavra: Verona foi a primeira a falar e foi “cala”, provavelmente escutou o Mythis mandando alguém calar a boca... O Troye disse “mãe” bem na cara do pai, que resultou na Mika esfregando esse evento na cara do Mythis. 

Com qual dos pais se parece mais: Verona é a cópia do pai e o Troye da mãe, até em personalidade, mesmo que o Mythis acredite que quando crescerem vão falar mais palavrão que os dois juntos. 

Quem ele gosta mais entre eles: Acredito que gostem deles igualmente, sinto que gostariam mais das tias também.

HC com a criança: Mika e Mythis não são um casal tão comum já que vivem implicando um com o outro e não abandonaram o estilo mais “bad”, mesmo que se vistam como pais responsáveis, atualmente. Então era óbvio que os filhos estariam acostumados com aquilo, mas quando a duplinha dinâmica tá quieta, é claro que estão aprontando! Dessa vez, quando encontraram os filhos tiveram a visão dos dois usando as roupas da adolescência, usando as jaquetas de couro, os coturnos com correntes e o mais importante: maquiagem mais que forte. Mythis não sabia se ficava bravo ou dava risada enquanto a Mika corria para tirar a maquiagem dos dois.

Premian a ganadores del segundo concurso de manualidades Piñatas Navideñas

La Unidad de Servicios para la Educación Básica en el Estado de Querétaro (USEBEQ), a través de su coordinación Operativa y la Secretaría de Cultura (SECULT), llevaron a cabo la premiación del Segundo Concurso de Manualidades “Piñatas Navideñas”, en el que participaron 168 alumnos de Preescolar, Primaria y Secundaria de instituciones públicas y privadas del municipio de Querétaro, con la finalidad de fomentar las costumbres y tradiciones de la época decembrina. Para la Secretaría de Educación del Estado (SEDEQ) es importante conservar y preservar las costumbres y tradiciones de la temporada decembrina, lo que permite fomentar los valores, la unión familiar, además de fortalecer los lazos de amistad y el trabajar en equipo con los compañeros de clase y con los de nuestro entorno, indicó Eda Karina Rubio Rubio, directora de Equidad y Apoyo a la Educación.

“Estas acciones nos permiten conocer el significado de las piñatas, formarnos desde pequeños, desde la etapa preescolar, primaria, secundaria y hasta la etapa de adultos, son momentos que permiten reflexionar, al tiempo que desarrollamos la creatividad y talento de los alumnos que participan en la elaboración de las piñatas”, indicó la funcionaria. Por su parte, Edgar Don Andrés Hernández, jefe del Departamento de Vinculación de Secundarias, felicitó a los estudiantes participantes por su dedicación, esfuerzo y creatividad plasmada en cada una de las piñatas elaboradas, las cuales dijo, hoy se ve coronado su esfuerzo y dedicación del trabajo que realizaron y con el cual se continúa preservando las tradiciones de la época decembrina.

⋆ ◦ ° ☾ shemar moore + cismale + he/him — have you seen christopher sampson? they sure have been hanging out at the volstead a lot recently. they are forty five year old known as the carefree, and they currently work for the cobras as an arms dealer, which they’ve been doing for twenty years. a pansexual sagittarius, they are optimistic + intelligent, as well as flirtatious + critical. a hole in the wall, briefcases of cash, half finished mugs of coffee.

christopher was born to a drug addicted mother and a criminal father. he had two older sisters and three younger. by the time he was seven, he was taking care of his three younger sisters, keeping them fed and clothed whilst his mother chased her next high and his father kept food on the table. they never asked why, because the answer would only hurt them. that was what they had always been told and christopher didn’t want to be hurt. not when he was already growing up so quickly. 

at eleven, he’s stealing food from the market to make sure his sisters eat. his mother leaves for weeks at a time, usually ends up found in a house a few streets away, needle stuck in her arm. his father spends months away trying to bring them their next paycheck. it’s a lonely life, but someone has to live it and christopher is forced into the all too familiar role once more. he often finds himself talking his way out of the police being called. he’s still young and nothing will be done, but once they find that his parents are nowhere to be seen, it’ll be bad and he knows it. the last thing he needs is his sisters living somewhere else. it was his job to take care of them. 

his mother suffers an overdose at fifteen and his father swears to spend more time at home, make sure they’re okay and alive. it’s an empty promise, but christopher allows himself to become wrapped up in it, believing each venom dripped word that leaves his father’s mouth. his youngest sister barely even recognises him now and it’s a hard pill to swallow. perhaps that’s why his father leaves two days after the funeral and doesn’t return for three months. by that point, christopher has dropped out of school and is working two jobs under the pretence of him being seventeen and needing a little extra pocket money. his older sisters work three, minimum wage and it’s nothing much, but it helps keep the roof over their heads. 

to his sisters dismay, at eighteen, he joins the cobras. it may have been the last thing they wanted for him, but they were barely surviving and he had to work fast. he’s a thief. and he’s good at it, too. what was it they said? like father, like son? he certainly shared some of his father’s skills, though it was a mystery to him where he had gotten them, having never known a single thing his father had ever done. he excels as a thief, the rewards he receives for doing so well are ridiculous in terms of keeping the roof over their head and the food on their table. his sisters are able to work one job and take classes with the community college. his youngest sisters never have to worry about working their lives away so they can feed themselves. 

by twenty-five, he looks to move on from being a thief, a position for arms dealer opens up and the transition is smooth. his older sisters have moved out and started their own families and his younger sisters spend their free time studying and enjoying their lives. the simple fact that they don’t have to worry about where the next meal will come from is enough to keep christopher satisfied. their father has not been in the picture for so long that christopher is almost surprised to see him when he turns up at the doorstep one evening. the girls in bed and the tv playing away to itself. a hand is pressed against his fathers stomach and christopher can see the blood dripping and pooling between his fingers. his father dies in his arms that night, at twenty-five, within the space of ten years, his parents are gone. and neither had died of the natural causes christopher had been assured of in school. the funeral was small, only himself and his sisters attending. a savage had killed his father and whilst christopher had not had the best relationship with his father, that was not the way he should have died. his father’s murderer dies a few months after, quick and painless, supposedly. christopher is not so sure, but he deigns to comment on it. a savage had died and he, a cobra, was glad for it.

as the years passed by, christopher watched each of his sisters find love and marry, have children and be happy. he could not have asked for anything more. love of his own, perhaps. but the only love christopher ever experienced was the kind that spent one night in his bed and was gone by the morning. he was glad for it and would never ask for anything more or less. the constant nagging of his sisters was getting old, but he did so much to appease them that he would not give up his sex life to make them happy. love may have passed him by once or twice his life, but it would do no good to have regrets. regrets only made him remorseful and he preferred to focus on the present and the future. the past was gone and nothing could be changed about that. most of his sisters have since left valdez and christopher remains in their place, upholding the sampson name. he’s still an arms dealer, far more than happy in his position and he had no plans to change. change was certainly not always good and anybody that thought that could stay as far away from christopher as they liked.

ok so ! ya girl is trash tbh but look at my new son ! hopefully he will not follow in the same terrible footsteps as the two before him ........ anyway, there are a couple wanted connections following this post, hmu if you wanna fill any of them !

partners in crime - he’s been a member of the cobras for almost thirty years, christopher definitely has at least one person he trusts with his life and will do anything for. even if it .... means doing some non kosher stuff sometimes. (0/1)

ex hook ups - christopher is an exclusive ladies (and gents) man. he has spent all of his life sleeping with people with no repercussions or follow up. however, he definitely spent some amount of time with the same people before kicking them to the curb. (2/?) mikaela boyko, nia castillo.

Hollywood films have designed a whole structure that appeals to the gaze of a man. Its function pertains to male pleasure or erotica. This erotica consists of the sexualization and objectification of female characters. This has become not only normalized but standard cinema repertoire. This can be seen in many popular films throughout cinematic history. 

Laura Mulvey wrote an article titled “Visual Pleasure and Narrative Cinema.” This article dives into the meaning of the erotic pleasure displayed in film and the function of the image of women that are displayed throughout films. Mulvey states the definition of scopophilia is pleasure in “using another person as an object of sexual stimulation through sight.” Essentially insinuating that looking or “viewing” is a source of pleasure within itself. This term develops the concept of the “male gaze.” The male gaze is the idea that male directors purposefully pose their female characters in certain ways to appeal to the gaze of a man. “She is isolated, glamorous, on display, sexualized. But as the narrative progresses she falls in love with the main protagonist and becomes his property, losing her outward glamorous characteristics, her generalized sexuality, her show-girl connotations; her eroticism is subjected to the male star alone. By means of identification with him,through participation in his power, the spectator can indirectly possess her too.” (Mulvey) This is all done to support the scopophilic eroticism of the male viewer. The female character is perfectly designed by the male fantasy. She is masculine but beautiful. She perpetuates feminine beauty standards whilst inclined to participate in predominantly masculine activities. These activities consist of drinking beer, watching sports, and liking cars. The female character does these activities while simultaneously dressed in revealing apparel. Such as short shorts, cleavage showing or stomach area showing. This concept can be seen perfectly exemplified in the film “Transformers” starring Shia Labeouf and Megan Fox and directed by Michael Bay. Megan Fox's character “Mikaela” embodies the criteria of male gaze in cinema. She fits the ideal beauty standard, long dark hair, tanned skin, blue eyes, while still maintaining masculine activities. There is one scene in the movie where Megan is bent over the popped hood of a car she is wearing big hooped earrings, a cropped shirt paired with short jean shorts that reveal the cheeks of her bottom area. She is wearing this outfit while fixing the car which supports the fantasy of the male gaze. The cinematic shots are placed very specifically. Her body is placed right in the center viewpoint of the camera. She is made out to be the objectified spectacle for the male audience. Director Michael Bay has been scrutinized for the sexualization of Megan Fox's character throughout the entirety of the transformer series.

 Laura Mulvey mentions this exact type of moment that is portrayed in many films; “The beauty of the woman as object and the screen space coalesce; she is no longer the bearer of guilt but a perfect product, whose body, stylized and fragmented by close-ups, is the content of the film nand the direct recipient of the spectators look”. (Mulvey) The concept of the male gaze can also be seen in the film “Wolf of Wall Street'' starring Leonardo Dicaprio and Margot Robbie and directed by Martin Scorsese. The film follows Leonardo Dicparios character “Jordan Belfort '' who obtains extreme wealth from participating in fraud. As soon as Belfort becomes rich he leaves his wife for a woman much younger and more conventionally attractive named Naomi (played by Margot Robbie). Naomi's role in the movie is to emotionally support Jordan's financial ventures, pleasing and seducing him after long days at work. Throughout the film Margot Robbie's character Naomi is overseuxalized. Scenes including Jordan snorting cocaine off of Naomi's breast area or Naomi undressed and only covered in money while laying on a bed are featured throughout the entirety of the film. Naomi's character had no personality other than being portrayed as a sexual being or an “angry woman” when getting mad at Jordan for cheating on her. In one scene Jordan and Naomi get into a huge fight. After the fight Naomi sits on the bedroom floor in a short pink dress and she tells Jordan that he can't touch her (sexually) for a long time as a “punishment''. ”She proceeds to tease Jordan by flashing her genitals in his face and saying “And from now on it's going to be nothing but short, short skirts around the house.” Insinuating that she will sexually seduce him but he can not touch her sexually. This is a prime example of male gaze and the directors choice to completely objectify and sexualize the female character. As Mulvey expressed in her article “Playing on the tension between film as controlling the dimension of time (editing, narrative) and film as controlling the dimension of space (changes in distance, editing), cinematic codes create a gaze, a world and an object, thereby producing an illusion cut to the measure of desire.” (Mulvey) This is accurately portrayed throughout the entire film through the composition, costume design, and post-production. The concept of composition and editing throughout films makes the male gaze very prominent in films specifically. This is mainly due to the male dominant work field that is the film industry. Directors are mainly males and can never properly portray a woman as they aren't one, instead portray women as sexual beings with nothing else to offer.  

Alternatively, female directors such as Sofia Coppola or Greta Gerwig portray women in their films in a more accurate narrative. The Virgin Suicides directed by Coppola is a great example of an accurate portrayal of what it is like growing up as a girl. The movie is directed by a group of boys that lived across the street from the Lisbon girls. The Lisbon Girls were 4 sisters from a small town in Michigan. They all committed suicide and the group of boys that lived across the street try to figure out why they did this to themselves. The youngest Lisbon sister was the first to try and kill herself. When her first attempt failed she ended up in a psych ward for a bit. One of the male doctors that was taking care of her asks “What are you doing here honey? You're not even old enough to know how bad life gets.” Her response: “Obviously doctor, you've never been a 13 year old girl.” 

The girls were seen as these beautiful dainty creatures from all the men that viewed them but in reality they faced harsh struggles in their everyday life. The whole film pokes fun at the male gaze. Since the boys are the ones narrating the film, they put the girls on this pedestal and are just so amused by their physical attributes. There's a scene where one of the boys has dinner over the Lisbon house. He excuses himself to go to the bathroom. While in the bathroom he finds a perfume bottle that was one of the girls and smells it while fantasizing about the girls. The boys didn't really want to know the girls, they were just a fantasy.

So far this year, Brazil has experienced more than 76,000 fires — nearly double the 2018 total of 40,000.

Some 10,000 of these fires have started in the past few weeks, many of them in the Brazilian Amazon.

Most of these fires were started by farmers and loggers  to clear land for crops and pastures.

Here's everything you need to know about the current Amazon fires and how they could affect the planet.

The world's largest rainforest is ablaze. On Tuesday, a new fire started every minute in Brazil.

Since August 15, more than 9,500 fires have sparked in Brazil, most of them in the Amazon basin. The blazes can be seen from space, and the smoke even temporarily eclipsed the sun in Sao Paulo on Monday.

So far this year, Brazil has recorded more than 76,000 fires — an annual record, according to Brazil's National Institute for Space Research.

The vast majority of these fires were deliberately started by people: Farmers and loggers purposefully set fire to the rainforest during the summer months to clear swaths of the Amazon for industrial or agricultural use in the coming year.

Here's what's really going on in the Amazon.

Why is the Amazon burning?

Unlike wildfires in California, or the current blazes in Siberia, the Amazon fires aren't natural.

About 99% of Amazon fires start from human actions, "either on purpose or by accident," Alberto Setzer, a senior scientist at Brazil's National Institute for Space Research (INPE), told CNN. 

As CNN meteorologist Haley Brink explained in the network's report, "[Farmers] wait for the dry season and they start burning and clearing the areas so that their cattle can graze. That's what we're suspecting is going on down there."

The Amazon's dry season runs from July to October and peaks in late September, and with it comes this annual burning, called the "queimada." The rest of year, wetter weather minimizes the risk of fires. 

"The important thing to know about the Amazon is that few fires occur there naturally," Mikaela Weisse, who tracks deforestation and fires for the World Resources Institute, told Vice. 

In addition to farmers, illegal loggers and miners sometimes light fires as well, in order to destroy evidence of their activities or drive away indigenous people, Vox reported. At least 400 indigenous tribes live in the rainforest, and their cultures and livelihoods are intimately linked with the state of the Amazon. 

If fires are set every summer, why are this year's a big deal?

What's unprecedented this summer is how many individual fires were sparked at the same time. In 2019, Brazil has recorded more fires than in any other year since researchers began keeping track in 2013 — and there are still four months to go.

This surge of fires in Brazil mark an 83% increase from the same time period last year, Brazil's National Institute for Space Research reported. All told, Brazil only had about 40,000 fires in 2018, about half of this year's current total of 76,000.

These fires also come on the heels of another worrisome milestone for the world's largest rainforest. The month of July set a new record for the most deforestation ever in the Amazon in a single month, The Guardian reported. The Amazon shrunk by 519 square miles (1,345 square kilometers). That's more than twice the area of Tokyo.

Data from Brazilian satellites indicated that about three football fields' worth of Amazonian trees fell every minute last month. The total deforested area in July was up 39% from the same month last year.

Deforestation and fires are linked, since setting blazes is one of the main ways people clear land in the Amazon.

Experts and environmentalists say this high deforestation rate can be linked to the policies and rhetoric of Brazil's president, Jair Bolsonaro.

Bolsonaro has indicated that protecting the Amazon is not one of his top priorities. He supports development projects like a highway and hydroelectric dam in the Amazon.

His administration has cut down on the seizing of illegally harvested timber. In 2018 (under the previous administration), 883,000 cubic feet of illegal timber was seized. As of May 15, Bolsonaro's government agencies had seized only 1,410 cubic feet, Pacific Standard reported.

What's more, between January and May, Bolsonaro's government lowered the number of fines it levied for illegal deforestation and mining (down 34% from the same period in 2018) and decreased its monitoring of illegal activity in the rainforest.

Do the fires have to do with climate change?

Individual events like forest fires, hurricanes, and winter storms can't be directly linked to climate change; however, climate change does increase the likelihood and frequency of wildfires around the world. Warmer conditions also allow blazes do start to grow bigger than they otherwise might have. 

The Amazon's humidity usually stifles these fires before they get too big, but this year was particularly hot and dry worldwide.

Overall, this year is on pace to be the third hottest on record globally, according to Climate Central. Last year was the fourth warmest, behind 2016 (the warmest), 2015, and 2017.

Hotter air sucks away the moisture from trees and soil, while decreased rainfall makes for parched forests that are more prone to burning. In that sense, climate change and uncontrolled rainforest blazes are interconnected.

How will this affect the planet?

As the world's largest rainforest, the Amazon plays a crucial role in keeping our planet's carbon-dioxide levels in check. Plants and trees take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen back into the air in their process of photosynthesis. This is why the Amazon, which covers 2.1 million square miles, is often referred to as the "lungs of the planet": The forest produces between 6% and 20% of the oxygen in our planet's atmosphere.

But when trees burn, they release carbon dioxide back into the atmosphere, where it contributes to climate change.

Scientists also fear that over time, the Amazon could suffer so much deforestation that a feedback loop could turn it into an African-savanna-type landscape. If another 20% of the Amazon were to disappear — roughly 20% of the Amazon has already been cut down in Brazil in the past 50 years, according to the Intercept — some experts think that could trigger a process called a dieback, in which the rest of the forest dries out and burns.

If that happens, up to 140 billion tons of stored carbon could get released into the atmosphere, which would cause a further uptick in already rising global temperatures.

"The Amazon is incredibly important for our future, for our ability to stave off the worst of climate change," Christian Poirier, the program director of non-profit organization Amazon Watch, told CNN. "This isn't hyperbole. We're looking at untold destruction — not just of the Amazon but for our entire planet."
