I eat at the Eatokyo Restaurant and one of the staff asked why we say Happy Christmas rather than Merry Christmas and why we do not refer to the day after Christmas as Boxing Day.

The Millennium Bridge and I
I walked on the Millennium Bridge the day it was opened, when it was gently but alarmingly swaying, and after its repairs, when it was steadied! Over the years, I enjoyed crossing the #Thames from St. Paul’s to #Tate Modern in all weathers. So many years later, the Bridge is still steady, while now it is I who needs support.

Despite the meaning, how clever to leave a message on a spot where probably every turist (and local) going to the Tate Modern museum would take a picture of the beautiful open view with Saint Paul’s Cathedral exactly in the middle ^___^
