Just when life begins to get back on track, an old, unwanted friend settles in.

“I called Itachi to let you know you left your medicine organizer at home but you hadn’t made it in yet,” Sasuke said.

“I got pulled over for speeding,” Naruto said quietly, “I didn’t like that I was so late and tried to make up some time. I made it worse.”

“Oh, Angel,” Sasuke said gently, glancing at him sympathetically, “Always take your time. No one will care if you’re thirty minutes or four hours late. We want you to be safe.”

“Itachi’s mad at me. He’s staying late and I’m sure everyone else will too,” Naruto said, “He won’t let me stay and help. It’s my fault we’re in this mess.”

“He won’t let you stay because you’re at your limit for hours. All of us agreed on a set number so you wouldn’t get overwhelmed,” Sasuke reminded him, “As far as your fault, the truck we received last night is bigger than we were anticipating. It’s going to take more time and cause more work regardless of you being late. This happens sometimes. I promise it has nothing to do with you. Itachi isn’t mad at you either. It gave him some time to rearrange some displays he hasn’t had time to.”
