Okay, this is going to sound bad. I apologize to everyone, really I would not be surprised if people unfollow for this but if you do, please at least read this entire thing and try to understand my point of view. But up here I’ll give a short answer: 

The current state of DRRPG is like someone who is sick that refuses to die and will eventually get back on their feet, but needs help in order to.

I have repeatedly said throughout this year that we’re trying to return to the project. However, mishaps keep on happening with writing, and in my case specifically, my mental health has been very poor. Whenever I think I’m better, I get bad again and I don’t even have an explanation for why. Either way, It’s been very hard for me to work on the game. I really really want to return to it, I don’t want to quit with how much work as been poured in already. It would be a disappointment to everyone to quit and I don’t want to see that happen.

This game is my pride and joy, and it’s Mod Komaru’s pride and joy too. I don’t know about the others. All I can say is… I think we need some help. More help.

The main roadblock for me is that Modokuma and I can’t agree on where to place certain events in the story and it’s lowered my morale a lot to the point where I have absolute zero confidence in my writing of the plot which is a terrible combination with me always feeling shitty mentally. I have no idea what to do about it because everything I have tried to do has lead to absolutely nothing. I’ve felt afraid to speak up or anything because I’m so embarrassed at what I have allowed to happen.

If someone has a suggestion on what we should do, please step forward because I don’t want this to die and it’s left me feeling really anxious some nights because I don’t want to let anyone down.

Unless this ruins anything, I'd like to know: which one of you is the modokuma? (That was not a typo)

More than one of us will be playing Monokuma, there isn’t one set mod who will be typing things IC as that character. As for which mod is probably the best at writing Monokuma, that would be Baguette.

this will come as a bit of a sudden post, since we haven't really posted since april, however i just want to make an announcement for our followers

for personal reasons, mod makoto and mod rantarou have left this blog.

we have decided to split ways for reasons i will not disclose here for our own privacy, health, and safety; that includes ALL parties

rest assured that myself, modokuma, mod mikan, mod ibuki, and mod kyoko will still be here to make posts and answer questions! but please do not pester myself or the previous mods about this situation

we will return to our regularly scheduled posting when we are back in the danganronpa mood!

Yooo Modokuma!!! Just wanted to let you know that edit you did was awesome!!! I loved it so much! (It wasn’t my request or anything obviously but still I really loved it!) Combined with Mod Hinata’s awesome edits, you two are gonna make a lot of people happy!! There are very few sprite edit blogs that accept OCs at all, and if they do, they’re lowest priority. But your blog is the first I’ve seen that does exclusively OCs and I love you guys so much!! Keep being awesome!!
