How long does orchid plant delivery take?
Orchids are a symbol of elegance and beauty, making them a popular gift or a stunning addition to any home. Whether you’re sending orchids to brighten someone’s day or adding to your collection, understanding orchid delivery times is vital for a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Understanding Orchid Plant Delivery
When ordering orchids delivered to your door, timing is everything. Delivery times for orchid plants can vary based on factors such as location, shipping method, and the specific seller. Most sellers provide a clear timeline during checkout, ensuring you can schedule delivery at your convenience.
Factors That Affect Orchid Delivery Times
Location: Delivery times may vary if you are in a remote area or outside the seller's delivery zone.
Shipping Method: Standard versus express shipping impacts the timeline. Many sellers offer same-day delivery for an additional cost.
Ordering Schedule: Place your order early in the day if same-day delivery is an option. Weekend orders may take longer to process, depending on the seller.
Why Proper Packaging is Critical for Orchid Plants
Orchids are delicate plants, and their packaging during transit determines their health upon arrival. Reputable sellers ensure orchids are packed carefully to protect them during shipping.
How Orchids Are Packaged For Delivery
Moisture-Retaining Materials: Orchid roots are kept secure with damp moss or minimal water to prevent drying out during transit.
Protective Layers: They are wrapped in sturdy materials to shield them from bruising or damage.
Breathable Boxes: Orchids are often shipped in ventilated packaging, ensuring they receive adequate air circulation to stay fresh.
Orchid Plant Delivery FAQs
Can orchids be delivered to my location?
Most orchid sellers offer delivery to a wide range of locations. Always check the seller’s delivery zone or use the zip code checker tool on their site to confirm they can deliver to your address.
How are orchid plants packaged for delivery?
Quality orchid sellers take special care of your plants by using protective layers, moisture-retaining moss, and breathable boxes. These methods help ensure your orchid arrives healthy and vibrant.
What happens if the orchids delivered are damaged?
Reputable sellers often include a guarantee or refund policy for damaged orchids. If your orchid arrives in poor condition, contact the seller immediately, providing photos and order details to resolve the issue quickly.
Do you offer same-day delivery of orchid plants?
Many sellers provide same-day delivery service for orchid plants in specific areas. Be sure to confirm the option on the seller’s website or during checkout and order early in the day to ensure availability.
Tips for Ensuring a Smooth Orchid Delivery Experience
Shop Early: During peak seasons like Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day, place your order well in advance to avoid delays.
Choose Trusted Sellers: Read reviews and choose sellers with positive feedback regarding their delivery services and the condition of their orchids.
Track Your Order: Many sellers offer tracking options to help you monitor your orchid’s delivery progress.

Trendy Wedding Backdrop Rentals To Beautify Your Wedding Venue
Wedding Rentals are a booming hit with the way they have revolutionized the wedding decoration scene. The affordability, ease of access, management and variety offered in Wedding Props Rental has created wider possibilities, guaranteeing couples their dream wedding.
Backdrops are an essential component of marriage decor that play an integral role in building the theme and transforming the venue. They have multiple uses- while stage and mandap backdrops are almost mandatory, photo booth backdrops are also increasing in demand owing to the current trends.

Faux Floral Walls
Perhaps the most common, these are a cheaper alternative to fresh floral walls and also more manageable and handy to work with. With faux floral walls, you are not limited by any means and can rent the ones that fit your aesthetic best- based on their color, texture and size of flowers used.
As famous as soft and intricate floral designs are, nowadays, walls sheathed in faux greens- leafy vines, moss, etc.- are also garnering attention. Colossal, eye-grabbing floral patterns that are more dramatic and look like they’re straight from a fairytale could just be the star of the decor for the occasion.

Textured Backdrops
Quite a shift from floral walls, textured ones tend to be more theme-specific and attract attention. The most popular ones are probably those with a feathery texture that hold the charm of flowers while simultaneously offering something unique to behold.

Mirror-Decorated Backdrops
Frame your wedding with these stylish, ornate backdrops adorned with mirrors. They could be mirror panels or smaller ones in varying shapes with embellished or engraved borders.

Solid Color And Draped Backgrounds
A rustic solid-color backdrop may be the most basic of all, but the choice of color can play an important role in the decorations. These could be integral to Wedding Stage Rentals and fashioned into the desired display, being the blank canvas to your imagination. Or they could be employed to conceal or camouflage any part of the venue.
Drapes are quite customary to wedding backdrops. Chiffon, tulle, silk or polyester drape backdrops work well for both stage and photo booth decoration. They could be plain for you to work on them as you please or adorned with faux wisteria or trailing leafy vines for some charming, rustic decor.

Curtain Light Backdrops
A trendy way to illuminate the place, curtain light backdrops consist of gauzy drapes covering string lights available in various tints. They could be a nice addition to the room and be adorned with some minimal accents like a floral wreath or the couple’s initials.

Glitter Curtain Panels
Sequin or glitter backdrops make for bold and glamorous decoration. They can be juxtaposed with drapes in lighter hues to create a vivid contrast. Opt for lighter pinks and golden’s for a classy and elegant display. As for a statement look, you may go for rich shades of blue and red.

Technicolor Backdrops
Add a fun, exuberant splash of color to jazz up the venue decor with some multicolored backdrops. They are available in dozens of materials- folded paper fans, ribbons, checkered patterns, etc. and look great without the need of other adornments.
Whatever may be the purpose- wedding backdrops must be chosen keeping in mind the scale of the venue and also the fact that this is likely to be the element that is going to show up the most in the photos. The latter means considering the dress code, the natural setting and the lighting as well.

The plan was failsafe. Their timetables synched up -- that wasn’t up to him, but rather a larger force beyond the acknowledged boundaries science or human comprehension -- and his outfit had been meticulously planned at least twelve hours in advance. White shirt, monochrome save for Lennox’s spikey orange cut, a grey checkered overshirt hanging open but belted in at the waist by his moss green cords. He wasn’t flirting, per se, merely delivering a message to her with her dark locks and her too-brown, all-seeing eyes that seemed to hold an infallible wiseness beyond their years, to know him more than Rory knew himself.
He’d trialled various opening lines in front of the mirror ; what’s your take on the album ‘Revenge’ as a cylical repetition from the death to birth of one of Britain’s most beloved synthpop duos? Or perhaps, more niche ; did you know that Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) was so low-budget it was recorded using an 8-tracker and a drum machine they drove two-hundred miles to find? What actually came out of Rory’s mouth when he hurriedly confronted her in the stairwell of the central library ( after exchanging several lengthy glances over the furious typing of macbooks and flipping of parchment pages ) was “did you know the name ‘Eurythmics’ comes from a fusion of the words ‘European’ and ‘rhythm?” Fucked it. His mouth pursed into a tight line, hands running through his curls as Rory realised of course she didn’t know that -- because this was someone who knew Eurythmics well enough to own their 1986 tour short -- and it wasn’t fucking true.
“Of course -- there’s some debate over the name’s origins, as in one interview Annie Lennox said they were actually named after the pedagogical exercise system. Eurythmics, as in like, the bodily movements when you feel the music. Like being on eccy or ket or whatever.” Stop fucking talking about ecstasy and ketamine. Girls like her were definitely anti-ketamine. Or alternatively, consistently on a four-day bender and just rather apt at hiding it. The trouble was, he had no idea who she was, other than a girl standing in front of a boy, wearing a Eurythmics t-shirt. She was the Davinci’s code of synthpop pioneers. @heavnlyed

10 Business Books You Need to Read in 2019
When it comes to most-anticipated business books, Win or Die: Leadership Secrets From Game of Thrones is the one to beat, if endless Quora debates are anything to go by. We don't know much about that entry, which comes out in March. But here are 10 other titles that have us intrigued. They include new offerings from business celebrities Clayton Christensen, Simon Sinek, and Marcus Buckingham--and one from Oscar-winning producer Brian Grazer, who wants to look deep into your eyes.
January

1. The Prosperity Paradox: How Innovation Can Lift Nations Out of Poverty, by Clayton M. Christensen, Efosa Ojomo, and Karen Dillon Poverty is arguably mankind's most intractable problem. Christensen, a Harvard professor and originator of the concept of disruptive innovation, here argues for a new focus: not on eliminating poverty but rather on creating lasting prosperity. He urges entrepreneurs to pursue the transformative power of "market-creating innovations" that spawn jobs, profits (which can be reinvested in infrastructure and public services), and cultural change, often through democratizing consumer access. Such innovations, en masse, create the foundation beneath many wealthy economies, Christensen says. They can lift up developing nations as well.
February

2. Possible Minds: 25 Ways of Looking at AI, by John Brockman (editor) At the highest level, the debate about artificial intelligence often devolves into scenarios utopian or dystopian. Will machines make human beings the best they can be, or render them obsolete? Should we trust something potentially smarter than us? What is humanity's role in a world ruled by algorithms? Brockman, the founder of the online salon Edge.org, corrals 25 big brains--ranging from Nobel Prize-winning physicist Frank Wilczek to roboticist extraordinaire Rodney Brooks--to opine on this exhilarating, terrifying future.

3. Why Do So Many Incompetent Men Become Leaders? (And How to Fix It), by Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic Women generally outperform men as leaders, research shows. So how come there aren't more of them? One reason is our association of leadership with such undesirable, traditionally masculine qualities as self-absorption and overconfidence, which somehow translate as strength and charisma. Organizations are wrongheaded when they worry about lowering standards to advance more women, argues Chamorro-Premuzic, a professor of business psychology. Instead, they should focus on raising standards for men.

4. Zucked: Waking Up to the Facebook Catastrophe, by Roger McNamee McNamee, an early investor in Facebook and a mentor to Mark Zuckerberg, watched with horror the relentless revelations of how Russia and other bad actors manipulated the social network to cause vast societal harm. Disillusionment followed as the company's leaders downplayed the problem. Thwarted in attempts to persuade Facebook's leadership to mount a meaningful response, McNamee has become a vocal critic of the business model, the culture, the technology, and the attitudes that created the crisis. Zucked is an angry-sad insider's account and meditation on what it will take to protect democracy.
March

5. Loonshots: How to Nurture the Crazy Ideas That Win Wars, Cure Diseases, and Transform Industries, by Safi Bahcall Big breakthroughs require two things. First, an idea so audacious it is widely dismissed. Second, a large group of people capable of transforming that idea from impossible to inevitable. The success of that journey depends on "phase transitions": the scientific principle whereby small changes in structure--comparable to changes in temperature that cause water to freeze or become liquid--make people more or less open to disruptive thinking. Bahcall, a physicist, and entrepreneur, explains how to optimize organizations so they don't kill their most disruptive darlings.

6. Coders: The Making of a New Art and the Remaking of the World, by Clive Thompson Most of us don't go an hour without using software. So those who create it are of intrinsic interest. Thompson, a writer for The New York Times Magazine and Wired, presents a historical, psychological, and cultural investigation of programmers in all their optimization-obsessive, bug-battling glory. (Thompson himself does some programming in the course of the book.) The word "art" in the title isn't incidental: The book considers what beautiful coding looks like and what it can achieve, as well as the moral quandaries posed by tech titans' escalating growth and power.
April

7. Eye Contact: The Power of Personal Connection, by Brian Grazer Grazer is the co-founder, with Ron Howard, of Imagine Entertainment and an Oscar winner for the film A Beautiful Mind. So when he proclaims that something as simple as eye contact has a profound effect on relationships and the outcomes of interactions, you want to know more. The producer bemoans the power of screens to draw eyes downward and urges readers to seek intimacy and connection in conversations--and not just those for which they have agendas. Grazer's star quotient means he's gazed into some formidable peepers. The book describes encounters with, among others, Bill Gates, Eminem, George W. Bush, and Kate Moss.

8. Jumpstarting America: How Breakthrough Science Can Revive Economic Growth and the American Dream, by Jonathan Gruber and Simon Johnson As Amazon expands into two regions already teeming with jobs and economic activity, this book examines the lopsided prosperity that leaves some parts of the country struggling while others--typically crowded enclaves on the coasts--thrive. Things were different in 1940, when government investment in R&D began producing breakthroughs in science and technology, from jet engines to life-saving medicines, to benefit everyone. MIT economists Gruber and Johnson think it's time to revisit that playbook.

9. Nine Lies About Work: A Freethinking Leader's Guide to the Real World, by Marcus Buckingham and Ashley GoodallConventional management wisdom exists to reinforce the organization's control over individuals, writes Buckingham, widely popular for his look-to-your-strengths approach to personal development. Among the "lies" he debunks are some sacred cows. For example, people crave feedback; people have potential; work/life balance is something we should all aspire to, and leadership is a "thing." (Some of us have been questioning that last one for years.) Buckingham urges freethinking leaders to toss off the straitjacket of dogma in favor of "the glorious messiness" of individuals working together.
June

10. The Infinite Game, by Simon Sinek A checkers match and the Super Bowl are finite games. Someone wins. Someone doesn't. Business, by contrast, is a ceaseless endeavor in which playing field, players, and rules change constantly. Leaders require not just the resources but also the will to win such contests, organizational expert Sinek explains. That means the courage to stand up to short-term thinkers (Wall Street, popular sentiment) in defense of your just cause, an open-playbook strategy visible to all and the understanding that, ultimately, we are competing against the best version of ourselves. New story in Politics from Time: How President Trump’s Defense Went From ‘No Collusion’ With Russia to ‘Collusion Is Not a Crime’
The first time that Donald Trump argued about collusion, it was to claim that his political opponents were doing it. Then, it was to argue that he had not done it. Now his attorney is arguing that it’s not even a crime.
But legal experts say that the entire discussion around collusion has been beside the point.
“It’s not whether it’s the crime of collusion it’s whether they engaged in the act of collusion in furtherance of actual criminal behavior,” said Bradley Moss, an attorney in Washington D.C. who specializes in national security issues.
Peter Zeidenberg, who was deputy special counsel in the Scooter Libby case and worked with Special Counsel Robert Mueller at the Justice Department, explained that while the legal code doesn’t strictly define collusion, that doesn’t mean acts of collusion are not criminal.
“Literally that’s true: there is no crime of collusion. But I don’t know how you collude with Russia without conspiring to do so and I think it’s pretty clear that Mueller believes conspiracy with those working to interfere with the election is a crime. It’s a crime of conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States,” said Zeidenberg. “What he’s saying is you can collude but there’s not a crime and I think that’s not really true. I think they’re constantly trying to move the goalpost.”
Trump has used the ambiguity around the term collusion to defend himself as part of a broader campaign to muddy the waters around investigations into any ties his campaign had with Russians who were meddling in the 2016 election. With his former campaign head, Paul Manafort, facing a trial this week on bank fraud and tax charges stemming from special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, Trump has stepped up his attacks on the probe.
In the past, Trump has used the ambiguity around “collusion” to attack his opponents.
Read More: The 207 Arguments Trump Has Made Against the Russia Probe
During the Republican presidential primary in 2016, he tweeted that his rivals Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich had to “to team up (collusion) in a two on one” because they couldn’t beat him on their own, implying something nefarious about a common political tactic in a three-way race.
Later, he accused Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton of “collusion,” “cover ups” and “bribery” in an attack that fact-checkers found “false” and “over the top,” and argued without evidence that she “colluded” with the FBI to get an investigation into her private email server shut down.
But when federal investigators began looking into Russian meddling in the 2016 election, including any role his campaign might have played, Trump first argued that there was no evidence of collusion, then (falsely) that the evidence proved there was no collusion and, finally, without evidence, that the real collusion was with the Clinton campaign.
Since March of 2017, Trump has tweeted that there was “no collusion” at least 90 times, including twice on Sunday, when he argued that “there is no Collusion” and also — again, without evidence — that the “real Russian Collusion on the Democrats side.”
But on Monday, Trump’s personal attorney, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, argued that collusion is actually not against the law.
“I’ve been sitting here looking at the federal code trying to find collusion as a crime,” Giuliani told “Fox and Friends.” “Collusion is not a crime.” And on CNN’s “New Day,” he said, “I don’t even know if that’s a crime, colluding about Russians.”
“I’ve been saying that from the very beginning … it’s a very, very familiar lawyers’ argument that the alternative, my client didn’t do it and even if he did it, it’s not a crime,” Giuliani said later in the day on Fox News.
That echoed arguments Trump has made in the past against collusion.
In an interview with the New York Times in December, Trump cited a legal expert he’d seen on cable news defending him. “There is no collusion, and even if there was, it’s not a crime,” he said.
Renato Mariotti, a former federal prosecutor running for attorney general as a Democrat in Illinois, said the shift from “no collusion” to “collusion is not a crime” was telling.
“Instead of saying ‘no collusion,’ well now they’re saying there is no such thing as collusion, which suggests they think there is evidence out there that makes it hard for them to deny there is collusion,” he said. “And so they switched gears which is an interesting shift in strategy.”
