i only remember it visually not by name so it wont be of any help plus i was under 12 so who knows how well i actually remember it. kind of grassy forest area slightly hilly dirt paths i think one of which if you walked on it long enough took you to a beach?

So the Clergy made fire the lead because fire and light is Lucifer. That’s also why quintessence is rhythm (stars and space and shit The Morning Star do you see my vision?)

Anyways, so outside of like stage stuff they still have fire and quint as like the leaders of packs in their minds. Fire being the highest. So like if they need something of the pack they’ll go to fire first.

After Dew’s body recovered from the transition he had no idea how to be a leader. He tried to copy Ifrit for a while because Dew thought he was amazing. It just wasn’t him though. That combined with how harsh the newly summoned Cirrus was since she was the leader of her pack in the Pits, Dew kinda slinked off to the side and let Aether handle everything.

And then Aether announced he was retiring from touring to take over the nursery so Omega could focus solely on the infirmary. Now he was the most experienced one. Now he had a newly summoned Phantom who froze and floundered every time he was asked to make a decision on literally anything. At least Cir wasn’t trying to fight him this time.

He always thought if anyone was the leader of their pack it was Cirrus and Mountain. Unfortunately the Clergy refuses to accept that response whenever he shrugs off their meetings. He’s just scared to make these technical decisions because what if it’s the wrong one?

Lead guitar is fun and he loves it but what he doesn’t love is being dragged into meetings about the state of the Ministry and “Could we get some ghouls on this job? Who do you think is best suited?”

He’s thankful Omega still attends those meetings. He’s glad Omega can actually make decisions. He wants Phantom to have a good role model and he’s convinced he’s the last person he should try to emulate.

Description:

A strange occurrence often happens to people engaged in an adventurous activity or who fall victim to an unfortunate circumstance. They find themselves with a companion whose presence would typically be impossible. Usually, the person is at a critical moment in a life-or-death situation in an extreme and unusual environment. When they are weakened and dying from exposure, suffering privation of sustenance, lost and alone, when they are about to lose all hope and accept their demise, that’s when this otherworldly friend suddenly appears to render aid and encouragement, giving them a superhuman will or strength to survive. Psychologists label this a “sensed presence experience” but are at a loss for a simple explanation. These presences may be seen, heard, and sometimes even touched. They appear in dire situations to people from all walks of life. They may materialize as a known friend, a deceased relative, a religious figure, or an indeterminate benefactor. Still, whatever their form, there is no doubt to the one in danger that this being is real and there with them. Although this sensed presence appears most often to mountain climbers, sailors, divers, and polar explorers, it can also happen to astronauts, prisoners of war, and disaster survivors. One of the most intriguing aspects of the sensed presence experience is that the ethereal saviors aren’t just there to provide comforting words; they actually help with knowledgable advice or guidance or can even seemingly take over the actions of the afflicted – whatever is necessary to increase the odds of survival. When you travel to Mt. Celestia, it is certain not to be long before you spot your first springbush. The size and rough shape of a giant goat, these large, ambulatory shrubs are found throughout the Seven Mounting Heavens, traveling in herds numbering from dozens to hundreds.

Possessed of four tough, woody trunks and a healthy growth of glossy green leaves all over their body, springbushes are easy to mistake for simple herd animals at a distance due to their tendency to travel, roam, and even apparently graze like a goat or ram. This appearance comes from the fact that their 'faces' are where their roots are located, and so to collect nutrients and water they lower their heads to the ground in a mimicry of an animal's motion.

Springbushes are highly aggressive and territorial during their flowering season, as their strongly citrus-scented flowers give way to a lemon-like fruit rivaled by few in sweetness or tartness. Fortunately, they seem docile around the plane's native celestials, many of whom seem to have or share duties of herding visitors away from the plants, promising a harvest when the time is right.

Springfruit is best eaten just before fully ripe, as the tart flavor mellows to nothing and the sweetness intensifies dramatically when the fruit ripens fully. Overripe springfruit is suitable for little but the making of sweet cooking vinegar or, should one be so inclined, an overwhelmingly saccharine and mildly alcoholic drink called Asho.
