Ao’nung:What, is the human your pet?

*Spider growling like a Thanator*

Tuk : That’s mean! Spider is our friend!

*Kiri stroking Spider hair to calm him down*

Ao’nung, smug : Looks like a pet to me.

Lo’ak, getting angry : He’s not a pet.

Kiri, sweetly: But don’t look him in the eyes.

Rotxo : What? Why?

Neteyam : Same reason you don’t look an Ikran in the eyes

Kiri, devilish smile: He bites.

Lo’ak grinning: He’s got sharp teeth too.

Ao’nung, condescendingly: I’m not afraid of a human.

Tuk, deadpan voice: Why do you think me and Neteyam only have eight fingers?

Ao’nung:…..

Rotxo:……

Tsireya:……

Neteyam:…..

Lo’ak:……

Kiri:…..

Tuk, happily: Spider let’s go play!

*spider and Tuk leave*

Tsireya : That’s…that’s not true right?

Neteyam:…no…we get that from our mother…

Lo’ak:…. the biting is a problem though.

Kiri: Did either of you tell Tuk to say that?

Neteyam: What? I thought you did? Lo’ak?

Lo’ak: Nope, wasn’t me.

Tuk, serious: stop talking or I’ll make Spider bite your fingers off for real.

Kiri :…..

Neteyam:……

Lo’ak:…..

*much later that night*

Jake, smiling : Did you teach Tuk to use Spider as a threat?

Neytiri, serious : I thought you did that.

Tuk, frustrated: Go to sleep! Don’t make me wake Spider!

Jake, whispering : she gets that from you.

Okay so by now I’ve established that he’s a feral child😂 but I feel like Kiri would just be absolutely unfazed by it at all.

Like when they first meet she was a little shocked but just accepted it!

Like she’ll do something, he’ll just react and bite and whilest everyone is just shocked she’ll be like yea, he does that sometimes. We’re working through it.

There is also no way she wouldn’t use that as a threat either.😂

I would love to know how Ronal and Tonowari react to Spider. Especially when they watch him interact with the animals. Watch the animals teach him everything they can about the way of water. Watch him with the Tulkun when they return.

How do Ao'nung and Tsireya react? More so Ao'nung because we all know how he treats the Sully kids when they first arrive. I can't imagine him being as "nice" to Spider as he was to the Sully kids. It would be great if the animals helped put Ao'nung in his place. 🤣

Ok first, sorry for taking so long to answer this lovely ask!😅

At first Ronal is definitely horrified and disgusted to see a human in her village and she doesn’t hide that fact from anyone. But as time goes on she becomes a little more accepting and interested. Like when she sees the little glowing fish following him everywhere, even if he’s not in the water they’d still be close by (like sitting along the shore line only to swim away if anyone else try’s to get to close)

Tonowari would be a bit more accepting of it, choosing to believe that it’s fine it he doesn’t really get it at all because at lest Eywa knows what she’s doing…right?

He’s defiantly a little weirded out so see Spider playing with the Ilus and watching them copy him (like he tilts his head they tilt their head kind of thing)

But he’s about ready to have a heart attack when he sees Spider stick his hand in a skimwings mouth to feels all it’s teeth and compare them to his own, and the skimwing is just sitting there completely accepting the fact it’s being manhandled by a strange feral child.

Tsireya is very curious about him but a little shy? She’ll ask Lo’ak a bunch of constant questions until even he gets bored and tells her to just ask spider (which is impressive bc you know he is totally smitten with her 😂)

Eventually when she gets comfortable enough around him she starts taking him all over the village and islands so that she can see how all the different whildlife reacts to him, spider doesn’t really mind because he’s happy to experience the new things but Lo’ak gets a little jealous 😂 so he starts sulking and Spider starts occasionally hiding from Tsireya so that Lo’ak gets to spend couple time with her 😂😂

Ao’nung..oh boy..he’s not happy😂 like if he didn’t like the Sully kids? Then he hates Spider and makes it his mission to make him miserable….only it really backfires. Anytime Ao’nung try’s to verbally pick on Spider all the Sully’s and his sister gang up on him. Any time he try’s to pick on him or annoy him on land (like trying to take his food..the poor fool) Spider will bite him until he either stops or starts to bleed.

Whenever he try’s to make an ass of Spider in the water all the animals will just make him look stupid…eventually Ao’nung starts getting tired of constantly being smacked in the face by fishes and thrown off by his ilu but doesn’t stop what he’s doing.

I feel like Spider would be sort of oblivious to Ao’nungs hate of him and just think that the guy acts really stupidly😂

The animals are all really interested in him to say the least, but my favourite are definitely the Tulkun that just love to tell him the stories that have been past down for years and years, teaching him the lessons they’ve learned over their lives.

I also love the idea of Spider just excitedly swimming beside them, then when he gets tired he just sunbathes on their backs 😂

(Sorry this was kind of short! I didn’t want to leave it too long and have it drown in all the stuff I have to do so I thought I would try a get it out quicker!

Mowglie!Spider and the Skimwings

(For anyone who doesn’t know this is my au where Spider was raised by the animals of Pandora and Eywa)

Summary: feral Spider greets a skimwing for the first time and gives everyone a heart attack except Tuk of course because she has priorities people ;)

Jake sighed in relief as his family was finally granted Uturu. The frantic beating of his heart had finally calmed down when he turned to smile at the reset of his family, only to notice someone was missing.

“Where Spider?” Jake tired to keep the panic from his voice as he gazed at his children and his mate, hoping his tiny feral son had just gotten distracted by something behind them and was blocked from his view.

Four pairs of eyes gazed at him in panic before they quickly began scanning the circle the Metkeyina had formed around them.

Kiri quickly ducked down to check if Spider had crawled under one of the Ikrans again, Lo’ak and Neteyam were frantically questioning the nearest villagers and Neytiri was trying her best to see past everyone’s heads and spot the boy.

Sadly, even as the crowd dispersed they were no closer to finding their human son.

“Demon! Get out of the water!!” Ronal yelled out.

Ronal, Tonowari and the Sullys instantly raced to the shallow water.

Jake felt his heart shoot up to his throat and lock into place.

Spider had waded out into the water until it reached just below his armpits, and was stood directly in front of a huge skimwing that Tonowari had rode in on, god, it had so so many teeth.

“No!” Tonowari yelled as the skimwing moved closer to Spider.

“Spider don’t!” Jake shouted desperately as he saw his son stretch his hands out.

Sadly, it seemed Spider had spent enough time with Jake’s kids to have learnt to ignore his presence completely.

Jake almost felt his soul leave his body as Spider trailed his small hands over the skimwing’s closed mouth.

The skimwing growled quietly before it quickly snapped it’s jaw, startling Spider and making him jump up slightly in the water. Jake prayed that would be enough to send his reckless son running back to the shore, but alas, his feral boy only furrowed his brow and growled back at the animal.

“Spider! Come here!” Neytiri pleaded, hoping her son wouldn’t test the animal again, only to also be completely ignored.

Spider glared as the skimwing went to snap again only to bare his teeth and……bop it lightly on the nose with his fist….Spider stared deep and unblinkingly into the animals eyes until….it huffed in acceptance!?

Spider’s eyes lit up as the animal conceded before he moved even closer.

Jake was almost sure he’d lost his mind as he watched his son trail his hands all over the animals skin, sticking his small fingers repeatedly through its incredibly sharp teeth as the skim wining seemed to playfully splash the boy with water every time it shook its head.

The skimwing seemed almost amused as it let the boy manhandle it’s face for a few moments, only to then splash Spider by raising its head and slapping it to the water, sending the boy into a fit of laughter as his hair was drenched.

Spider was just about to attempt to climb onto the skimwing’s back when Tuk wriggled free of Jakes arms and called out to him.

“Spideeeerrrrrr!” The littlest Sully called out disapprovingly.

Spider’s head snapped to her direction instantly, only to tilt to the side like a confused puppy when the the little girl huffed and placed her hands on her hips.

“Come back here! Your not supposed to wonder off without meeeeee” Tuk called back with a hint of a whine.

Spider pat the skimwing’s snout as a quick goodbye before he quickly began making his way back to shore.

Jakes eyes briefly flickered to his family, taking solace in the fact that his mate and sons seemed to be in the same boat as him.

Nytiri looked moments from passing out with worry, Lo’ak had slumped to the floor and Neteyam gripped his forehead for dear life in hopes of try to rid himself of what Jake assumed was a migraine.

Kiri however, seemed entirely too amused as she watched as Spider finally reached Tuk.

“You should have waited for me, we could have gone together ” Tuk huffed before Spider pressed his forehead to hers for a moment, only to then pat her head apologetically.

Tuk giggled slightly as Spider ruffled her hair, all annoyance vanished as she instantly accepted the boy’s apology.

“Did you have fun monkey boy?” Kiri asked as she walked over and pushed Spider’s head lightly, gaining the boy’s attention.

Spider looked up at her and grinned before giving and exaggerated nod.

“Did you like the teeth?” Kiri asked fondly, seemingly uncaring about how dangerous said teeth were.

“Sharp!” Spider grinned and flashed his own teeth, Kiri laughed and ruffled the boy’s messy hair.

“Spider, dude, I thought I was gonna have a heart attack” Lo’ak moaned as he finally dragged himself to his feet and draped himself over Spider.

“For the love of Eywa! Please stop doing that!” Neteyam sighed as he made his way over.

Jake hadn’t quite recovered from watching his son voluntarily put his hand in a skimwing’s mouth, lucky it seemed Tonowari was fairing no better.

If Jake wasn’t still reeling, he would have laughed at Tonowari’s shocked face and practically bulging eyes, the man’s hand was clutched over his heart in hopes of staving off a heart attack.

Jake almost felt sorry for the guy, he was gonna have to get used to that reaction real quick, seeing as all Jake’s kids had apparently decided make it their life’s mission to send him to an early gave.

Jake: Spider, pass me the bowl please

Spider *ignoring*: …..

Jake: Spider, kid pass the the bowl?

Spider *blank stare*:…���.

Jake *sigh*: Spider, pass the bowl? You know? The bowl?

Kiri *unimpressed*: you’re doing it wrong

Jake: hush you, he’ll figure it out. Come on Spider, you know this. The bowl.

Spider *tilts head like a puppy*:……..

Kiri: it’s not gonna work

Jake: shush. Bowl, Spider bowl. It’s right in front of you.

Spider *stares at bowl*:…….

Jake: yeah that’s it! Pass it here kid

Kiri: he’s not gonna do it

Jake: he will, he’s almost got it.

Kiri: he really hasn’t

Spider *looks away from bowl, uninterested*:…….

*Jake sighs and continues to try and encourage Spider, Tuk bounces in with Lo’ak*

Lo’ak *confused* : what are you doing?

Kiri *amused*: dads trying to get Spider to pass him the bowl

Lo’ak: you’re doing it wrong

Jake *frustrated*: I am not doing it wrong, he’s gonna get it.

Lo’ak: not if you’re doing it like that he’s not

*Tuk walks over to sit next to Jake*

Spider *instant attention*: hmm

Spider *points at bowl*: hmm?

Jake *mumbling*: great so he knows what it is

Tuk: Spider, fetch! Fetch the bowl!

*spider brings the bowl to Tuk, Tuk smiles up at Jake and hands it to him*

Tuk *snatches cooked food and hands some to Spider*: good job Spider! Good job!

Jake:…….

Tuk *proud grin*: I taught him that!

Spider raised by Eywa

< Spider is more Na’vi than human and the only one of his kind>

okay first! So I’ve decide I preferred this idea much more so this is going to be the Spider blessed by Eywa universe not the other one.

<if you want you can just skip to the bullet points, the text is just a little background 🫶>

So in this au Paz was still pregnant when she went to fight, she was too stubborn not to and refused to be the man behind (like Ronal did)

Here helicopter gets taken down and after she crashes she goes into labour like a week early. She’s all alone in the crashed ship, hanging from vines, and now she has to deliver a baby that won’t be able to breath the air.

So whilst all this is happening Paz is just praying so anyone (Eywa but she doesn’t know that) that her baby will live even though she knows it’s not possible. The baby is born but instead or it choking and dying instantly he’s some how breathing the air!

Paz is relived and names him Miles, she also gives him the nickname spider because even though he’s just been born he’s grabbing onto her and wriggling around like a little Spider.

She writes his name down on some cloth and wraps her little baby in it.

Despite the miricle of him being able to breathe Paz is still worried he’ll die soon because she’s weak, running out of oxygen and her legs are crushed. Sadly a few days later Paz dies but eywa is not letting this little baby go so easily.

So all the animals of Pandora start raising him (think Tarzan 😂) and Eywa is always watching him.

Adaptations to spiders body :

He can breath Pandora air (duh)

His lungs are stronger than most humans

His brain develops a little faster (not in the way I picture a Na’vi child’s would but better than an human)

His stomach can stand most foods, the only downside is some of them make him feel nauseous and sick (still better than dying though)

His bones are stronger than normal human bones and naturally more healthy

He has a great sense of balance like the Na’vi just without the tail

His skins a little stronger to survive the wildlife

He grows bigger than average human (he’s not huge like the Na’vi but he’s generally taller the humans, just enough so that you could point it out as weird)

He can connect to the spirit tree by touch & is generally more in-tune with Eywa so we get some confusing spirit dreams 😎

Childhood / it’s effects :

Spider can’t speak English only Na’vi (until he’s taught later) .This is because the only talking he’s been taught is by Na’vi through the spirit tree & Eywa’s guidance, so naturally, no English.

Spider was raised by animals who are still in Eywa’s light (animals who haven’t gone insane and violent due to human intervention)

Spider is definitely one of the favourite people of his Thanator family. A mother and her cub.

Used to run around with ‘angtsìk babies by their water source (the giant hammerheads that chase Jake in the first movie)

He totally messes around with Ikrans, some of the older one will snap at him but he’ll just snap right back, much to the amusement of the young ones

When he was first learning to climb he imitated the prolemuris

He’s distrustful of the scientists because his thanator family are distrustful & also because what the voices of the people from the spirit tree said.

He’s not a clean eater. Definitely just a shove it all into your face with your hands at first.

So I’m sticking with the idea that it’s Kiri who finds him, but it’s later in life/closer to movie age.

Spider defo likes Mo’at the most out of all the adults.

Spider has to eventually stay with the sully and leave with them to join the metkeyina (even though he doesn’t know them that well bc Eywa said so)

Basically the movie plot but more feral blessed spider fun ✨✨✨

Also I love the idea of a thanator trying to teach a baby what to do and how to pretty much be a Na’vi whilest having no idea what’s going on 😂😂

So yeah! This is my blessed spider / raised by Eywa (although is more like she gets everyone else to do a better job 👀) Au! Don’t know what I’m honing to do with it but imma do something!

Ahhh!! I’ve just been thinking about a Mowglie!Spider AU for so long now!!! I’d love to hear more about it if you have any more ideas. What was it like being raised by animals and Eywa?

Okay so, as for what it was like being raised by Eywa / animals of Pandora:

Spider is definitely big on community since was raised almost collectively if that makes sense? So like every animal would show him things that are more specific to them

EG: the Prolemuris or the Syaksyuk (the blue monkey things from the fisr movie) would have been the animals that taught Spider how to be a better climber, like how to find those invisible grips and how to swing from branches.

or like Direhorses / Pa’il would show him how to control his breathing better so that he could run more

(Granted all these lessons would need a lot of patience as they can’t used words)

But I think his primary caregiver/ closest thing to a physical parent would be the Thanator mother and her cub. (I see them as only normally having one or two cubs who they stay with untill they are in their adult hood. So they’re very protective of their territory/nests and will react violently to any perceived threat)

She’s the one who raised him while he was still a baby. She’s the one he’ll go to at night to sleep with because he feels the safest around her. He definitely takes on more of her animalistic characteristics because of that.

His upbringing was definitely difficult, more so when he was still a baby and couldn’t really communicate at all. A lot of it was trial and error.

I also think his Thanator mum barely stands it when he’s with other animals but she knows he’ll come back/ there are things she can’t teach him.

They are very protective of their young and it’s really difficult for them when they can’t see their child at all times

Spider doesn’t tend to speak much (the only language he does speak is Na’vi) bc the only time he has to do it is when he’s communing with Eywa and the ancestors so I think he’d be more inclined to using animal noises

I think he would adapt the various noises he uses depending on the animal he’s with, but it always tends to lean closer to the thanator (like a child learning their parents accent)

I also decree that Spider can replicate these noise perfectly because come on, he was raised around them & he’s Eywa’s special little guy

He’s defo a messy eater (I already said this but, he’s really really messy), he spends the first few years just eating meat raw because he wouldn’t have been introduced to fire (this doesn’t make him overly sick, it just doesn’t taste as good)

He probably only learned how to make fire because Eywa refused to let him disconnect from the spirit tree without him taking on and learning how to cook his damn food

Eywa defiantly took a far more active role in his upbringing, especially when he was a baby.

EG: she’d use the Atokirina to guide him around after he’d learned to walk, to help him find his way back if he ever got lost, lead him away from danger before he ever knew he was in it.

When he would cry uncontrollably as a baby the Atokirina would enable him to feel her presence more closely and it would be very comforting (something his Thanator mum was very thankful for) (he also learned to feel her just as closely without their help once he got older)

I don’t think he’s really aware of how significant his connection with Eywa is (despite how blatantly obvious it is to literally anyone else)

Bc the animals are obviously very closely connected with her, but they can’t tell him that what he feels isn’t the norm

His sense of fear is definitely not where it really should be because he has absolutely no problem going to places / doing things that would give others heart attacks because of how much he can feel eywa

EG: if he’s diving off large waterfalls into the water below, he’ll keep going until he climbs too high and feels this sense of danger/displeasure and he knows Eywa doesn’t want him to do that because it isn’t safe

Or if he’s not sure if something is safe to eat (probably human food) he’ll wait to see if he either gets a warm sensation in his stomach or like a quick jolt of discomfort

But this also means that when he can’t feel her (like being in the human base) sends in into panic, it’s like suddenly losing one of you important senses with no warning

I think he’d play around with other animals a lot and some of them would treat him like their own young

Eg: Ikran would nip at him like they do to their little ones to get them to try and bite back/just to play with them.

He also try’s to be independent and since he’s a kid he sometimes won’t heed Eywa’s warning

I’m sorry by having an almost teen rebellion against the literal god / planet is just the funniest thing to me 😂

Fan lizards love him but definitely hold a grudge against him 😂

You can’t tell me he wouldn’t have had fun running around annoying them as a little kid (he still does it now)

Very much into roughhousing because that’s how he played with his Thanator sibling.

He also only learned about modesty from they other Na’vi through the spirit tree / seeing some humans from a distance but not understand a thing about them

Also Eywa makes it very clear to him he needs to wear pants

Spider has never interact with a human, he actively avoided them throughout his early childhood

Like he just thinks they are the weirdest creatures ever with how out of place they look 😂

He also doesn’t like getting close to hells gate because the closer he gets to the building, the quieter Eywa gets and he absolutely hates that!

He’s never interacted with a na’vi / seen them up close but he’s more open to the idea than he is about humans

I’m not entirely sure if he can actually hear Eywa speak (if he can it’s only when he’s connected), but he can definitely feel her embrace him / feel her in the world around him. He also definitely feels her / views her as a mother in a more literal sense (something she’s happy with bc that’s her fearless and feral little boy)

Okay so for more general ideas / plot-ish ideas :

Kiri is the first Na’vi he’s seen up close and it was entirely by accident 😂

She probably tried to talk to him in English but he didn’t understand a word she said, so he tries his broken Na’vi (think small child who doesn’t talk much, not great at putting sentences together, but good enough that you get what he means)

Kiri & Spider send a few days bonding

When Kiri tells her family about the human boy none of them really believe her (they don’t call her crazy…..but they basically call her crazy👀)

They just assume she’s imagining him / it’s all a dream she keeps having

Kirk has enough of that bullshit and literally drags him kicking and screaming right into the middle of high camp just to prove her point😂 like “SEE! I’m not crazy!”

Pandemonium ensues 😂😭

Spider loses his mind

Lo’ak and Neteyam lose their minds

Tuk is just excited

Jakes brain breaks

Norm has his brain explode with science

Neytiri gets a headache

Mo’at is very intrigued

I think the scientists would be really interested in him but because of his distrust only Norm can get close when he’s in his avatar body (bc Jake & Kiri vouched for him personally, and their interactions are always outside at first after the chaos that was trying to get him inside)

I think people would be shocked at seeing Spider just doing his thing, and Norm desperately wants to know absolutely everything

I’m also going by the movies so he’s the only human (as close to human) child to have been born on Pandora because the scientists weren’t all that interested in baby making.

Spider does eventually start liking Norm because he takes way to much joy in teasing him with his animal noises/ he likes how important he feels when Norm gets all excited about the things he can do…..even if it is just him breathing

I don’t think he’d be a fan of people speaking English around him for a while because he doesn’t know how to speak it & doesn’t like that he can understand them

He’s a fast learner & Kiri is a great teacher and Tuk is her amazing helpers so he learns to speak in better sentences (even if he thinks the word use is excessive and will get sulky after a while if they keep correcting him when he doesn’t think he’s wrong) (Lo’ak finds it hilarious)

He really likes Jake because he can feels Eywa around him and makes him interested in him (different to how he feels Eywa around Kiri)

I can definitely see him and Kiri teaching each other how they experience Eywa

I absolutely see him totally unnerving jake by just quietly staring at him without blinking (everyone else finds it hilarious to see Jake get so weirded out 😂😂)

Neytiri would probably be far more accepting of him after a while & he definitely becomes some she’s begrudgingly fond of in the beginning, but eventually turns into full protective loving mama (because I’m a sucker for mama Neytiri)

Having Neytiri as his mother would definitely feel very different to Eywa/Thanator but in a very pleasant way, like she can actually hold him in her arms and speak a language he can easily understand (he still loves his other mama’s tho)

This is getting long so I’m going to leave it there 😅

Feral spider is like Florida man energy when he goes to do something dangerous , even if it's normal for him to do these things

Oh my god that’s the best thing I’ve ever heard 😂 it’s so accurate😂😂

I can just picture the Sullys off handedly mention something Spider has done and everyone thinking they’re exaggerating, because surely, surely there’s no way this tiny fragile human could possibly do anything…right?

Only to then come back shell shocked after witnessing their own bizarre Spider story 😂 I mean looking like they’d just been to Eywa and back as they walk dazed through the village.

They’re going to need their own support group😂😂 Kiri can be their counsellor.

*shaking Na’vi adults*

Kiri: it’s okay, it’s okay, Feral Spider can’t hurt you

Lo’ak: well, that’s not really true is it?

Kiri: shut up! Skxawng!

*Neteyam & Tuk dragging in more adults*

Kiri: what now!?

Tuk & Spider

First of all, I’m back!!!! Sorry for being away but I had stuff going on and now it’s done✨✨ also now I have a bunch of free time so expect updates again!!

Anyway, I think Tuk would definitely take to Spider very quickly because at first his is kind of just like a baby, very animalistic and doesn’t understand or care about what other ppl think / what’s expect of his age.

This means that, unlike her siblings, Spider doesn’t think she’s a baby and doesn’t want to hang out with her. Like Spiders not stupid, but because of his upbringing he’s not on the emotion level he should be, which means he relates more the Tuks childish attitude to things.

Tuk is also definitely one of Spiders favourite if not favourite, because she’s very straightforward in the way only a child can be and he really appreciates that (the poor baby defiantly has a hard time getting sarcasm social cues and subtext 😂😭)

Also like in he bites (the little short) Tuk is definitely willing to weaponise Spider😂 like she looks like an Angel but is totally mischievous and at the begging spider doesn’t even get what there doing is misbehaving.

Spider does warm up the the other sullys quickly, but even after he’s gotten used to things I think he’ll still see Tuk as a fav, maybe like a little Thanator cub that he wants to protect.

Spider defo likes to be around Tuk a lot

He likes her stories because they’re simple and more fun

He spend more time with her because it’s easier than trying to figure out what older ppl really mean

Her lessons are also easier for him because they’re generally childish

She doesn’t force him to try and use his words when he’s frustrated because she’s just content to do all the talking

He’s defiantly over protective and will stand like a threatening guard dog behind her even if he’s standing up to a navi adult (but don’t get me wrong he’s a sweet heart)

He definitely enjoys when she falls asleep on him bc it’s like when he was sleeping with the animals

Spider defiantly introduces her to all his animal friends even when it gives the rest of the sullys a heart attack

Eywa thinks it’s adorable

I love your mowglie!Spider au!!!!! Considering the scenario that Spider does get captured, and for some reason, cannot be rescued, how do you think Quaritch would react because his kid doesn’t speak any english and is just so…feral?

I feel like he’d be pretty strict into pushing Spider into the “right lifestyle” like similar in Caught by naavispider

I think the RDA would experiment on him and find another way to put a tracker on him as well.

Unrelated, but does Spider have his own Ikran?

Quaritch meets feral Spider

Omg I love this! if it did happen I think it would go something like this.

Quaritch wouldn’t realise anything was wrong with Spider other than the fact he could breathe he air at first, and for the sake of things let’s say they still lock him in that room until he wakes up.

The first thing Spider would notice is the lack of Eywa around him, but it was so much worse than any of the times where he was in the lab with the Sullys.

So Spider starts to panic and lash out but with way more force, I’m talking screaming, growling, swearing in broken Na’vi and bashing his hands against everything until they start bleeding.

Quaritch finally enters the room, for fear that Spider will seriously hurt himself. When the door opens Spider gets low to the ground and starts growling, the same way a Thanator would before it’s attack.

Quaritch starts trying to speak to Spider to calm him down, but it only makes Spider madder because he can’t understand a word he’s saying and the bright lights are irritating his eyes.

Quaritch moves closer and reaches for Spider, only for the kid to dodge around. Quaritch tries again but this time manages to actually get a hold on the boy.

So Spider does the only thing he can think of to do.

He doe the thing that he does best.

Spider bites.

Quaritch is shocked at how the kids jaw seems to lock into place, sharp teeth digging quickly through his skin and drawing blood.

Quaritch whacks Spider away in surprised panic after he can’t shake the kid off.

Spider growls at him as blood is smeared all over his lips and chin and Quaritch curses and yells at him.

Spider only continues to growl and yell in Na’vi before he attacks again.

Quaritch lashes out on instinct and ends up knocking Spider out. He feels a sort of mix of confusion and shock as he looks at this feral child lying on the floor, he also refuses to acknowledge the feeling of guilt in his gut as he puts the kid back on the bed and walks out.

Later when they’re patching him up he asks what the fuck was that about and then he gets told that it’s very likely that the kid didn’t understand what he was saying.

Quaritch refuses to believe it at first but agrees to try again using this Na’vi translation thing (think futuristic google translate😭😂)

Quaritch try’s talking to Spider and the kid hates the machine, like with a passion, because how dare it speak the great mothers language with no soul (I hope that makes sense).

But finally it’s confirmed that Spider can’t speak English.

Quaritch is in shock before he becomes outraged, starts cursing and blaming Sully for Spider being the way he is.

He decides he’s going to make the kid normal if it kills him.

It starts off with Quaritch cutting his hair, Spider isn’t bothered by the hair itself but he’s pissed at this demon touching him and trying to change something about him. Spider also doesn’t really understand what’s going on because Quaritch’s impatient ass could be bother to translate it for the kid…safe to say Quaritch gets bitten…..a lot.

They then try to put Spider in normal clothes and the kid is just not having it, he kicks and screams while the try to put it on and when they finally succeed he takes them off and rips them immediately after.

Quaritch eventually gets tired of watching the scientists and a few soldiers manhandling the kid so he basically tells them to all fuck off and just throws a pare of loses shorts at Spider so he doesn’t end up naked.

Spider doesn’t like sleeping in any of the beds, normally he’d just climb under them and everyone gets fed up of trying to get him so actully sleep in the bed.

News of the feral boy spreads quickly so they start taking him for tests. He freaks out every time so they have to fight him until he can be sedated, this obviously traumatises the kid because they are all awful people who don’t care about his discomfort as long as they get results.

There’s only so much screaming Quaritch can take before he puts a stop to it and says he’ll figure out a way to get some of the results they want. This gains him a little of Spiders trust….well, enough of it that he doesn’t keep getting bitten.

They agree to let Quaritch try his method and take Spider outside after the imbed a chip into his arm.

Quaritch is later horrified as he finds Spiders face and hand bloody after using both his teeth and a knife from the canteen to remove said chip.

Nobody’s really willing to try that again so they settle on making on collar. Spider screeches about it for hours but hey, he can’t get it off and he’s not biting himself anymore.

So they finally take him outside, completely sure that he wouldn’t be able to escape.

They were wrong.

Once Spider was in the forest again, eywa could get to her child, could save her child and fight the people who hurt him….eywa could do something

And Eywa was pissed.

The minuet they were away from the base the animals started attacking, it started slow. Just a few rocks being thrown, growls from the bushes…then the animals started attacking all at once.

Spider took his chance once he felt the great mother’s presence urging him to run, he didn’t hesitate.

Eywa led him towards his Ikran, a magnificent creature second only to the Toruk, but it’s body had been battered and scarred from old fights, it queue had long since been mutilated and torn off.

Spider is extremely relieved to be reunited with his winged friend who flys him high up into the hallelujah mountains.

The Recoms retreat back into the base and Quaritch is pissed when he finds out they can’t track Spider.

Eywa sends a message to Mo’at who sends scientist up to the mountains where they find Spider and remove the collar before they take him back to camp.

Spider is happy to see mo’at but he’s upset to know the Sully’s left, Eywa comforts him and he takes his Ikran to find them, trusting Eywa and the Ikran to lead the way.

Then they get to the Metkeyina and that’s just whole other ballpark of fun.

Tuk is very happy to have Spider back to threaten others with😏

Okay so the basic ideas:

Maybe they never knew who Spiders mother was, they just found him one day and when they did the DNA test the only conclusive results was father : Quaritch.

when they tried to find the mother it just kept coming up inconclusive until they finally decided that his mother was likely Paz Socorro because she was the only woman who fit the bill. (Idk I’ll think more later)

Of course Neytiri isn’t happy when she first sees Spider (who’s like a baby) and Jake together

Maybe before Spider is taught the ways of the people he doesn’t understand that the little floating friends that follow him dont just follow everyone else.

Little Spider is definitely still neglected and maybe he meets Kiri by accident.

Kiri takes her new friend to the spirit tree and yeah he doesn’t have a Tswin but he still connects to the spirit tree but by touch?

Spider wraps his hands around the tree and bc it’s the first time it’s full force because Eywa is so happy to finally be able to fully connect with her little guy

Like Spider’s eyes roll back and he stops responding to Kiri, so she gets scared and runs to get her parents

Neytiri had only seen Spider that one time as a baby by this point

No one thought to really inform Mo’at about the baby but she already knows 👀 she knows all 👀

Jakes the only one who’s spent some time with spider (outside of Kiri of course because they are the best of besties)

When they come back Spider is still standing there except now he’s covered in atokirina (think first movie)

They then have to teach Spider because it’s very clear that eywa has claimed him (they don’t adopt him bc Neytiri is still in denial)

Spider doesn’t get taken because Eywa refuses to let that happen

The Sullys have to take him because Kiri is not leaving her person

Ronal is both horrified and intrigued by Spider

Maybe some prophetic dreams?

Think Metkeyina but now we get a magical Spider 😎

Idk but it think it would be fun? I love seeing all the things of Eywa just loving this little human boy.

I feel like Ronal would be every interested in him.

Imagine Kiri and Spider just playing with the glowing fish like it’s normal and everyone who’s in the know 👀 *metkeyina* is just watching with their jaws on the floor😂😂

Ooo maybe the RDA tell Quaritch that Jake killed his son? So he never sees Spider? I’m not sure how that would work but I feel like that would get a good motive for him to want to fight Jake?
