Au of my Au?

(Blood of children au..au? 😅)

So recently I’ve been thinking about my Fic the blood of children, and instead of continuing with the little stories about how the surviving Recoms are adapting to Na’vi life but…I’ve been thinking….what if it had gone differently?

What if Quaritch was more uneasy with how the RDA was functioning?

What if the Recoms had started making preparations to ditch the RDA? To stop being property and abandon the sinking ship they were riding?

What if the Recoms had a warning? What if they knew an attack was coming and it was going to be big?

What if more of the Recoms made it out? What if they didn’t get captured? What if Fike and ZDog lived?

What if it was Jake that shot Spider?

What if Spider lost his arm below his elbow instead of above?

What if when Spider woke up he still had his family together….for the most part?.

What if they all hid? What if they all thrived in the forest after getting the lay of the land?

What if they built up their home in secret? Living for years right under the Na’vi’s noses?

What if Brown had a brother who’d lost his arm in combat when he was young? What if he could help Spider?

What if they could build him a new arm?

What if the Sully kids didn’t grow up in a war?

What if the kids met years later?

What if they didn’t know they were supposed to hate each other? What if they didn’t know their parents tried to kill each other?

What if they became friends?

What if the Na’vi found out?

You know? Those kind of things😂? It’s been buzzing around my head for a little while, just thinking about how it could change the story.

Of course the main Recoms would stay the main Recoms, but…

Like how different it you make some of the relationships, how Jakes guilt for killing a child (as he assumes) would affect him, how Spider would feel when his new friends accidentally get some of his family captured? Just a thought or two 😅😂

Na’vi clothes

I feel like when the Recoms are learning the ways on the Na’vi one of the first big hurdles (and one of the funniest) is them getting into the very revealing clothes. 😂😂😂😂 I also think it would be hilarious because I picture Mansk as so much bigger than the average Na’vi so these tiny cloths just seem ridiculous🤣

* Jake dumps Na’vi clothes on the ground*

Quaritch : What’s this?

Jake: This is lesson one, what you wear

*Quaritch picks up loincloth*

Lopez, deadpan: No.

Jake: No?

Lyle : No.

Lopez, picks up tiny cloth, looks at Mansk skepticly: We’re going to need bigger one anyways.

Jake: It’s a loincloth, its supposed to be small. It’s fine. Just where it.

Lyle, insistent: No way am I putting this on.

Jake, getting frustrated: I wear one!

Lyle, very serious: And I can see your ass.

Okay this idea is too funny to me🤣 I’m going to have to add it to the series properly 😂

Jack Mercer and Jane hopper siblings = basically put the character of jack Mercer in stranger things and had Hopper adopt him because El said so (don’t have to have seen Four Brothers, you can just read it as an of but I would recommend it bc it’s great)

Hi! Sorry everyone I knew I said I’d be updating more but………I didn’t? IT WASN’T MY FAULT THO……okay it totally was. I just wasn’t really motivated and I didn’t want to start something and it be half assed that really didn’t seem fair.

I still might be a little lacking on my posts because I haven’t really gotten out of that slump where everything seems like trash, so here are a few of the ideas I had for the future

Some more one shots of Spider learning to deal with only having one arm EG, learning to climb again and do basic things a little differently

Spider defiantly gets a prosthetic and has to adjust to that but our boy is still a determined little bean (maybe some futuristic thingy)

Quaritch tries not to have a heart attack every time his one armed demon son gets into new trouble and Jake tries to avoid a migraine because Lo’ak and Spider are all kinds of awful together (Lopez Lyle Mansk & Tsu’tey definitely make fun)

We’re probably getting some Lopez / Tsu’tey… I know it’s weird & doesn’t make sense…I don’t care.. I got it into my head a while ago and now I’m attached 😤 I will make it work! Or I won’t and I’ll still do it anyway✨

I feel like Mansk becomes the silent uncle, they fear him at first but all the younger children absolutely love him - once the 3Coms get settled & have been around for a few years he is definitely a babysitter. (More like climbing frame)

I don’t think Quaritch would let spider get taken..or if he did he wouldn’t be taken for long

Quaritch Lyle & Spider go with the Sullys - thinking of making it like a multi chapter thing, like the blood of children.

Oh yeah, it’s also very much Quaritch / Lyle & trying to parent Spider who totally uses them against each other

You cannot tell me Spider would not torment Ao’nung - my boy has years of practice with his jarhead uncles (mainly Lopez and Lyle)

Tuk and Spider are still very close (once she’s born ofc)
