I literally haven't been back in the mcyt community in a while so I came back to check the vibes.. A young woman wait near Shalour's modest beach, arms resting on the railing as the Tower of Mastery watched over the quaint town. It was referred to as 'a city of awakening', and Serena was always inclined to agree. It was here where she first delved into Mega Evolution - something that changed the way Serena and her team operated forever.

It was here, too, that she would be meeting up with Crys. Previously, she had intended to meet with the other woman in Johto, but certain circumstances had thrown that meeting entirely out of the window. In a whirlwind trip that had tasked Serena, and Johto's own Jasmine into the deserts of Orre, of which landed the two women in the hospital after it was all said and done, Serena had been itching to get back to her home region.

After her hundred or so apologies to Crys, they'd gotten to talking while Serena had been resting in the hospital. Subjects of the mundane, the philosophical, and even Mega Evolution, all to help distract Serena from such an environment and help pass the time. It was their conversations on Mega Evolution (and Serena's guilt), that had lead to present day. Serena had invited Crys out to Kalos, and to the Tower of Mastery personally. With the Kalosian's excellent rapport with those that oversaw the Tower's aspiring students and day to day operations, it was an easy invitation to swing.

Now that Serena had fully recovered from her desert travels, she was itching for some semblance of normalcy in her life once more. She donned an outfit that was more suitable for training and walking around in, and she had packed a bag for herself in order to stay at the Tower overnight. Silver eyes moved from the endless blues of the sea and sky, as another shade of blue caught the corner of her eye.

"Crys!" Serena is quick to pull her friend into a hug before soon pulling away. "I'm so happy to see you again - was your trip in alright? It's so exciting having you here again! I hope you're not too jetlagged," which, as a frequent traveler, is something Serena is very well acquainted with, "when we get to the Tower of Mastery, I can start by showing you around first!"
