Built an NZ-666 Kshatriya mobile suit.

She's a big girl.

Just look at her holding hands with this Qubeley!

Overall, the kit has only one pair of hands and nowhere to store the beam swords (the funnel rack is part of the solid inner wing binder piece), but she's so massive it's not surprising at all. I shudder to think what an RG or MG model of her would cost.

But with that, I have Full Armor Unicorn, Banshee Norn, Sinanju, and Ksgatriya. All I need are Rozen Zulu and Geara Zulu, a Delta, and a Jegan or two and I'll have Unicorn fairly adequately represented...

I wanna make this point now cuz it feels kinda important but I am a *super* tech/militarism illiterate unit. Like I am desoerately and pathetically out of my depth, so if the things I say dont make actual sense please be patient and feel free to correct my mistakes!

Yeah I know, I know, you're not making as many (if any) new MG kits. I get that they may not your best sellers. And they're expensive, both to purchase and produce. And while I would pay an arm and a leg would purchase all the Witch From Mercury MG kits you bless us with, those aren't what I want.

Where's our MG NZ-666 Kshatriya!?

We've got almost 20 MG kits from Gundam Unicorn (not counting P-Bandai), like half of them some variation of Unicorn itself! We even just got the narrative MG Unicorn. Hell, I even own four MG's from Unicorn!

But I want my Angry Bell Pepper Mech!!!

I know there's a HG, but I've got a display of 50 MG Kits, I don't want the 1/144 scale kit, I want a 1/100 scale kit.

Ahem, tirade over please bandai, Kshatriya would be cool.

HGUC NZ-666 "Kshatriya"

I love this suit, it's one of my favorite Sleeves suits from Gundam Unicorn. I love Marida's storyline too.

It's a pretty big kit, with a lot of repetition, but overall it's totally worth it.

3. MS-06 Zaku II (Mobile Suit Gundam)

A classic design from a classic series - the one spiky pauldron, the cyclopean helmet, the hoses everywhere, but I think the best design element are the legs and feet, which manage to be chunky and elegant at the same time.

2. ATM-09-ST Scopedog (Armored Trooper VOTOMS)

I love how textured this thing is - makes it feel like a real piece of military hardware. The rotating tri-scope mounted in the visor is a beautiful and satisfying piece of design. You can't see it in these pics, but it's got motorized heelies in its feet, so AT fights in VOTOMS involve a lot of skating around, which is a very funny thing for an otherwise very grounded mecha to do. These are also tiny as far as mecha go, like ten or eleven feet tall. By contrast,

NZ-666 Kshatriya (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn)

This thing is a fucking behemoth. You can see the Zaku DNA in the legs and the helmet, but mostly this mobile suit looks like a death angel, which it is. It fights using "funnels" - you can see them sticking out of the underside of the wings there - which are remotely-piloted laser drones for omnidirectional battlefield saturation. The wings also contain thrusters and serve as armor in a pinch, meaning this thing is huge, fast, maneuverable, and not even slightly fair. Unicorn was not a good show but this thing rules extremely hard.

If we're not talking about Real Robot, there's a bunch of designs I like - some of the Knightmare Frames from Code Geass (especially the Lancelot with its habit of zooming down alleys by bracing its wheels against opposite walls, and the Guren Mk II and its ability to literally melt enemy mecha with its fuck-off big hand), the Gunbuster from Gunbuster (star-crowned head, insane rocket ship pauldrons, and the fact that I cry every time I watch Gunbuster), and the Knight Sabers' hardsuits from Bubblegum Crisis (especially Priss'). And if we're going to throw in games, I'm gonna say Warframe's Valkyr (her flayed escaped experiment vibe and explosive brutality are hard to match as far as design goes), Battletech's Spider (the only BattleMech I know of that even approaches iconic design), and - I know all the Lancer trannies are supposed to love HORUS mecha, but for my money the actual good mecha designs are mostly Harrison Armories. HORUS and Smith-Shimano mechs are mostly weird guys. Harrison Armories' Genghis is a Machine Built to Set You On Fire.

Title: Kshatriya Kukurin (Kururin)

Here is Kukurin's ⭐🌙🟡🟢 new armor and it's more powerful than her Qubeley, the armored "Kshatriya"! 😁

Fun fact: It was named after "a person who surrenders his ego consciousness to God; a warrior or nobleman". Kshatriya is one of the four Hindu castes. Representing the third Hindu caste or varna in the ancient system, kshatriyas are motivated by dharma, or right action. Hence the name.🙂🇮🇳

Kshatriya Kukurin Based on the: NZ-666 Kshatriya

Armament(s):

• Beam Saber The Kshatriya is armed with a total of six beam sabers for melee combat. Two are located in the forearms and can be used as beam guns when stored, while the remaining four are small beam sabers mounted in the sub-arms that are in the Kshatriya's wings/binders. The generated beam blade is strong enough to cut through standard mobile suit armor with ease.

• Machine Cannon A pair of rapid firing projectile weapons that are mounted in the chest, between the Mega Particle Cannons. They are primarily for restricting enemy's movements in close-range.

• Funnel The Kshatriya is armed with twenty-four funnels for all-range attacks. Each funnel possesses a beam gun that is capable of melting an enemy mobile suit's armor. Six are stored within each of the Kshatriya's four wings/binders, and are remotely controlled primarily through use of the Psycho-Frame equipped cockpit. These funnels are used primarily to allow the Kshatriya to engage large numbers of enemies at the same time, or to overwhelm a powerful foe.

• Mega Particle Cannon The Kshatriya is armed with twelve mega particle cannons. Four are mounted on the chest and they can be fired together to create a single, very powerful beam, or to fire a scattering beam in a manner similar to a shotgun. Two more of these cannons are mounted on each wing/binder, allowing the Kshatriya to fight off enemies from any direction.

• Beam Gatling Gun Used only in the novel, a pair of beam gatling guns is attached to the right forearm.

Special Feature(s):

• Psycho-Frame Cockpit The Psycho-Frame is a technology that builds the brainwave-to-machine code translator known as Psycommu into the metal frame of a Mobile Suit. This allows a Newtype or Cyber Newtype pilot to mentally connect with their mobile suits operating system, similar to the bio-sensor, and directly issue commands via the pilots brainwaves.

• Sub-Arm Hidden in the binders, the sub-arms can be used to destroy an opposing mobile suit's arm simply by latching on to it, or used to capture a mobile suit, as shown by its capture of the Unicorn. Each sub-arm is equipped with a small beam saber.

• I-Field Generator Located within each binder, it produces a Minovsky particle barrier around the mobile suit, capable of deflecting incoming enemy beam fire.
