I finally finished the graduation cap!

Took about a month to bead

My cousin loved it, and then they gave me a new graduation cap to bead for my younger cousins graduation next year… and then my youngest cousin is a freshman now, so when he graduates in three years…

Hi y’all!! I don’t have any current art projects/updates to share today. I do, however, want to share a website that one of my elders have up: they create beaded art pieces (earrings specifically), poetry, art books, small paintings and prints.

This is a Native owned business!! It’s always important to separate that from non-Native beadwork.

Their art tends to revolve around themes of death and embracing the end of life! Could be a dark/ scary subject, but I admire that about them.

Take a few minutes to look at their creations!! They put so much thought into each piece that they create, it’s worth the glance.
