I've been experimenting more and more with beadwork in my embroidery, both within the hoop but also Outside of it, and while I still have a lot of improving to do, I'm very happy with how this came out!

Finished my faux taxidermy frames!

Pictured from left to right: rosy maple moth, death head hawk moth, and giant silk moth! All designs were found on Pinterest (with tweaking or adjustments from me on the first two). Frames were bought at garage sales. Moths are made from perler beads.

I'm really happy with them. I can't wait to hang them up in my apartment :)

Okay, so I finally finished that beadwork I was doing!

Btw this is my first time doing this so don't make fun of me!

I'm really proud of it! Even the the edges are bad and I messed on the wings but I love it regardless🥰♥️

Now I'm doing more for my family

Insect eggs of unknown provenance, laid on the spent flowering stems of Crambe cordifolia (those bulbous green bits are the developing seeds). From the way the eggs are arranged I think these probably belong to a moth, but I have no idea which type. All we know for sure at this point is that they look like very tiny dim sum treats.
