Art Goal Achieved

One of my goals when I started drawing was to draw versions of my OC's that I was truly happy with. I finally feel like I've done that and I want to share the results. But first, I owe a few people my thanks.

@lukasdoodles, you've been an inspiration and mentor to me! I appreciate it and hope you don't mind my continued annoyances.

@sukipershipper and @cherryrollarts, working with you two, and with Lukas, on various commission orders has served to spark my creativity in a myriad of ways and I appreciate it a lot.

@ohshy, @maks-punchout-hyperfixtion, and @urlocaldemonthatlikeslemons, bouncing ideas around with you three is so much fun and I hope to continue doing that a lot more often.

I'm all for the use of non-gendered language and options for non-binary people, I just want them to make linguistic sense. "Nibling" sounds dumb. If you want a gender-neutral word for niece/nephew, it should share etymology with them. They both descend from the Proto-Indo-European root *nepot-, so there are a ton of plausible sounding options for derivations that don't call attention to themselves as neologisms.

Nepot is too visually similar to nephew, and sounds too much like the derivative nepotism, so maybe drop the p like Spanish did and go with something like nete or niete. Niete is too close to niece; nite, maybe? Or neti? Neit, neiti, neite, nit. These all look like real words, not clumsy 21st century portmanteaus like "nibling." If p and t are no good, we can go with another unvoiced stop like k. Nik, neik, nike (probably not that one), niki, neki, neke, nekie, so many possibilities, anything but "nibling."

Same thing with aunt/uncle. I've never heard a non-gendered term that sounds like something a layperson would use.

Hewhos became ewos, became avus, became avunculus, became uncle. Aunt is derived from words that mean mother; amma, amita, ante, aunt. I thought the word parent derived from the same root as paternal meaning father, but no, it's from the PIE root *pere-, mening to bring forth or produce. Sibling ultimately derives from the PIE root for self/oneself (*swe-), literally meaning same blood, related to myself, kin. "Parent's sibling" could be derived from swepere, swepar, suepar, supar, maybe something like sempar, "same parent/same source," simpar (maybe avoid anything with simp in it). Or "one source," onpar, honpar, paron, paroin, peron, peroine (from PIE *hoinom for one). I'm not thinking of germanic soundshifts, how these roots would evolve directly into English, I'm thinking broader, like how they would evolve in Latin or French to be loaned into English. If you want a neutral word that looks like it belongs with aunt and uncle, maybe something like umpar, umper, ompar, onpar, onper, onter, anything like that.

this was based on a misreading of a different post so now im rating how lesbian dsmp characters are. no real criteria just going off of vibes from a lesbian. based vaguely on how lesbian they are and how much they might identify as lesbian

Soulfire headcannon/Drabble.

Tubbo, due to having not slept for like 2 days prior, was running a high fever during the Egg Event, dreaming (?) of the scavenger hunt. He was at the base healing, with Pol and Mariana looking after him while the rest fought in the event.

Luzu is non-existent, standing still as a statue in forest. No soul behind his eyes, just light binary.

After the team comes back from the event, emotional exhaustion killing them worse than an physical energy, they all use the last of their energy to huddle around Tubbo. Their using the space where they kept the villager as a temporary bedroom. There’s not even a bed, just layers of soft blankets and carpet.

Bad and Tina go to change his towel, when they move his hair and see two little brown demon horns in place of his old bee antennas.. Bad nearly cries right then and there, while Tina goes up to touch hers, the little nubbins being even smaller than her shaven down ones..

They clean the area, and head back to the group to finally sleep off the day.

Bad sleeps sitting up, on leg tucked in to hold Tubbo up in his arms, pressing him close to his body— flu be damned. Tina and Niki take up Bad’s sides, with Rivers draping her legs on Tina’s lap and rest her head next to Lenay’s, who lays down with knees to chest at the corner of the room.

Pac is using Bad’s stretched out leg as a pillow, holding onto Tubbo’s hand while Pierre, who is actually too exhausted from having his wires cut open due to the respawns, is passed out right on Pac’s stomach.

Mariana and Missa are right below Bad’s feet, parallel. Even with their couple quarrels back in the other island, both still feel the right amount of safe when next to each other, allowing an overlapping of legs and arms to just jumble up at the other end of the room. They formed an almost type of “X” shape, somehow, with Missa hand was under Pierre’s foot while Mariana’s torso was on top of Missa’s.

Pol was right beside the connection of Missa and Pierre, the only one in a semi-normal sleeping position, laying on his side with his hands acting like a pillow but still close enough to Pierre where his head is by Pierre’s torso and legs near the human pretzels below.

That night, in a small room, with body limbs acting more like blankets than the actual ones they have, sleeps a team too tired of everything. Having, truly, only the ones sleeping in that room to trust. With glow berries and torches as their only light, all members sleep safe and sound for the first time since they arrived on that island.

Not even the Eye can take that away from them.

This didn’t turn out that well, but I hope you still like it. Thank you for the request! 

Okay, so if they can manage to be jealous of each other, imagine the chaos when the seven of them find another person, guy, girl, none-binary, doesn’t matter if they find another person flirting with their partner. All hell would break loose. The worst scenario would be if the person flirting with you was someone you admired, like Soobin from TXT. 

Imagine that you’re in the HYBE building, trying to find your way to the Enhypen boys to surprise them, however, the building is like a maze and you get lost only to end up running into Choi Soobin. A singer that you really like, his voice is incredible and you really like his group's music. The TXT members have met you a few times in the hallways and during schedules as you often follow along when the Enhypen boys, your boyfriends, are going somewhere. “Hey, um, (Y/n), right? Please tell me I got that right,” “haha, yeah, don’t worry, you got my name right,” “That’s a relief. So, you looking for Enhypen or hiding from them?” “I’m looking for them, I was supposed to surprise them by showing up but I got lost,” “That happens more often than you’d think here, I don’t think anyone truly knows their way around yet. I do however know how to get to their practice rooms, I can walk you there if you want” “That would be really nice, but I don’t want to take up your time,” “Don’t worry, I’m on my way to the cafeteria and their area is on the way there,” “Thank you Soobin, you’re the best,” So, Soobin and you continue talking on your way over to where your boyfriends (Hopefully) are. The Enhypen members are over by their practice rooms, discussing whether or not they should take a break and eat lunch now or wait another hour for the cafeteria to be a bit calmer. Ultimately, they decide to try the cafeteria now because they are just too hungry to wait only to find their partner, aka you, standing close to Choi Soobin, smiling, laughing, and talking. All their eyes scrunched up as they glared at their senior. Heesung along with Jay and Sunghoon all simultaneously cleared their throats to catch your attention and break up the conversation you had with Soobin. You were oblivious to their glares and annoyed looks, just happy to see them so you waved and smiled at them. “Hi, guys! Surprise!” Jake and Sunoo turned their heads a bit at hearing you say ‘surprise’, did you mean ‘surprise I’m here’ or ‘surprise, I’m cheating’? “Hey, what are you doing?” Jungwon asked as he motioned for you to walk over to them, his voice was silky smooth, with not a trace of malice in it, he would never use such a voice against you, against his senior though, yeah that could happen. You were a bit confused now that you took a good look at the guys and saw their frozen stances, they seemed ready to attack someone, and once you followed their gazes you found that they were all glaring at Soobin. Jealous boys. He only showed me how to get to you guys. You walked over to Jungwon who lightly pushed you toward Niki who then enveloped you in a tight hug, one you couldn’t escape, even if you tried. Soobin must have picked up on the vibes of the Enhypen boys so he quickly excused himself from the situation. “Bye guys, buy (Y/n), have fun!” “Bye Soobin, thanks for the help!” You tried to raise one of your hands to wave, Niki however only tightened his hold around you, therefore hindering your goodbye. “Let’s go back into the practice room,” Heesung said and everyone followed, you sort of involuntarily as Niki just brought you along as he walked without releasing his hold on you. 

Once inside, Niki let go of you and you all sat down on the floor in a circle. “How come you were hanging out with Soobin-hyung?” “How come you guys are jealous over such a small thing? You know I love you guys and not someone else?” “(Y/n), just please, tell us why you were with him,” Jake said in a pouty voice. “I was planning on surprising you guys by just showing up, all was well until I got lost and stumbled upon Soobin who volunteered to lead the way here,”  “Oh,” They all said simultaneously, now looking embarrassed. “Sorry for acting like that,” Sunoo said as he played with his hands instead of meeting your eyes. “It’s okay guys, I get why you would be worried. I might admire Soobin but I’m not in love with him, I’m in love with you guys,” “We love you too,” Sunghoon said. They all scooted closer to you and soon the eight of you were bundled up in a big pile on the floor, laughing and enjoying each other’s presence. The boys were holding onto you for the rest of the day, no matter what they were doing, one of them was holding your hand or hugging you.

short summary of lore today (so far)

listen a lot has happened so here's the summary, at least as far as i know

pac is first to log in, he teleports to a waystone and finds the stolen waystones arranged in a pentagram

fit logs in and meets pac to talk about the waystones. they notice there are sandstone waystones with binary code. together they translate it, its a message to vote carefully

tubbo joins them, immediately breaks some waystones until fit kills him. then they put the waystones back in the circle

soon fit notices chayanne and tallulah aren't in their beds, but left the ducky and hat behind. he puts a message in chat and pac discovers richas is gone too, leaving his shirt behind

in ramon's egg bed, his mustache is left behind, revealing that it was a fake mustache all along

they all meet up and check on all the egg beds they can find, taking pictures of them all. niki joins them too

bobby's bed was still the same as always, so only alive eggs were affected

they decide they need to get cucurucho's attention to ask what happened, so tubbo decides to build another mega drill

after the mega drill was built, the server crashes. everyone rejoins and the drill doesn't work anymore, and tubbo recieved a discord message telling him it was a bad idea

they realize that create machines now cannot be more than 100 parts, which breaks most of the machines on the server

slowly more people start to join the server, so they all meet at spawn to try to figure out what happened to the eggs and with the waystones. everyone is devastated when they find out

most people think the waystone lore is unconnected to the egg lore! (especially pierre iykyk)

there are no clues left behind from the eggs, so no one really knows what to do. none of the online members for a while knew where dapper or pomme slept, so they spent a long time trying to find their beds

tubbo gets a quest from cucurucho, asking him to build a library. he asked what happened to the eggs but cucurucho just said "classified"

foolish finds a chest with a book from leo, which is basically an apology because they keep missing each other. it also includes a picture of leo taken yesterday by pomme

still no one knows what to do. they eventually find all the egg beds, none of the eggs are there, and they all left accessories behind

foolish tries to ask the capybaras what happened to the eggs, but they say they don't know. then he finds another mustard memory

everyone starts to go a little bit wild since there's no clues and they can't find their eggs

Extra headcanons to give the characters more depth.

SBI is canon: wilbur came out as pansexual to tommy and techno in the pogtopia arc, wilbur came out to phil via letters during the pogtopia arc. wilbur came out as bigender after he was revived (to everyone on the smp because he wanted people to use the correct pronouns for her.) tommy came out originally to phil, wilbur, and techno as bisexual before the dsmp but later figured out he was a biromantic demisexual when he first joined dsmp (and of course told phil, techno, wilbur, and tubbo). techno casually came out as aroace to phil, tommy, and wilbur, when they were all sat around at the diner table before they joined dsmp. Also of course everyone was accepting. Wilbur and tommy have wings, but tommy lost his during exile because dream cut them off so he couldn't run away (im sorry for the angst but oh well) and wilbur never lost his. (And the reason you cant see wilbur's wings in my fanart of him of a long time ago is because one: im lazy and its hard to draw wings, and two: he can retract his wings in his back)

Jack is a robot/cyborg: I personally like the idea of jack being a cyborg/robot, probably because im a fnaf fan, I also like to think that niki made him and thats why they were so close (before the smp he came out as trans to niki and she supported him of course) I also like the idea that he looked really human but because of his canon deaths his skin was damaged so you could see the robotic side of him, Also if you cant remember his first canon death was by wilbur, he was burned to death by him and I like to think the fire damaged the skin on his arm and thats how everyone found out he was a cyborg, his second canon death was by tommy on accident, tommy pushed jack in the lava in the nether and from that, thats why you can see his right side all robotic like because the lava burned his skin off. He also came out as bisexual to niki before the smp. (Also can people stop sleeping on jacks character because he is literally one of the coolest characters.) Also his third canon death was by techno, he and techno were having a dual during doomsday, and because of that he lost his right eye and had to tell niki to make another one, of which looked really robotic because she didn't have the resources to make a human looking eye. Jack also went to hell and had to complete different challenges to be revived which is canon btw. (And sense he didn't get revived by the revive book, I dont think he would have a white streak in his hair, and i know that jack doesn't have hair but you can still dye it, take irl billzo for example)

Tubbo's related to schlatt: I like to think that schlatt is c!tubbo's biological dad because both of them are ram/goats, and that schlatt thought he was straight, (thats why tubbo is schlatt's son even tho I headcanon schlatt to be gay) schlatt was also homophobic and transphobic and thats why tubbo when he was 15 he ran away from home (because he told schlatt he was gay and trans but schlatt didn't except him, tho later on schlatt was more accepting of him and actually used the right pronouns and stuff) later on phil found tubbo in a box and basically adopted him, also something cute I'd like to add to the clingyduo headcanon is that tubbo before he met tommy wore a green handkerchief while tommy wore a red handkerchief but when they met and became friends they switched their handkerchiefs so even when their far away from each other they would still remember each other😊.

Lazer, vikk, corpse, pokimane, lilnas x, ninja, ksi and Michaelmcchill will be excluded from this because they logged on there like once. And for anyone wondering AMAB means a person that was born male; AFAB means a person that was born female; AIAB means a person that was born intersex. I chose a question mark for c!Callahan's AGAB because we basically know nothing about their character and their irl self.

Also as a reminder these are CHARACTER headcanons and NOT content creator, do NOT speculate actual people's sexualities and gender identities!!!

(Also its kinda sad to know that most of these people I dont even watch anymore, really the only ones I watch now are wilbur, dadza, techno, tommy, charlie, jack, and on rare occasions i watch the dream team, eret, tubbo, and quackity but even then I rarely watch tommy now, maybe its because im getting older? Grian-  the L'manburg flag on his ankle. It's rarely seen, and only Wilbur knows it's there
