Fashion Dreamer community is either going to be very amused or extremely confused as to why a B-type muse called "Arthur RF4" that suspiciously resembles the character in question is running around in the game's online mode.

Screenshots from today’s new Nintendo Direct, for those of you who’s into Nintendo and has a Nintendo Switch (as well as Nintendo Switch Online membership).
I’m hyped for Mario vs. Donkey Kong (a remastered port of the first game released on the Game Boy Advance) and WarioWare: Move It!. What games are you excited for coming soon if you watched today’s new Nintendo Direct?

Where to play every main series The Legend of Zelda game (ordered chronologically)
NOTE: when I mention the virtual console for the early games (NES, SNES, GB) it applies to basically every virtual console from Nintendo, not just the Switch. However, many virtual consoles have been discontinued such as the Wii. These are also just off the top of my head and besides a few exceptions are all on Nintendo consoles. I am not as familiar with emulation so I did not include many of those
The original console is listed in parenthesis next to the title which is always another way to play the game if you manage to find a copy, aka you can play ocarina of time on the n64 you just won’t have save states. HD remasters are within the same title since there’s minor changes, complete remakes get their own bullet points since they are a different experience from the original game and include major changes
The Legend of Zelda (NES) - Game and Watch mini console, Nintendo switch online NES virtual console (includes save states, special version also available which starts you with all upgrades and items)
Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link (NES) - Game and Watch mini console, Nintendo switch online NES virtual console (includes save states, special version also available which starts you with all upgrades and items), Hoverbat’s fan remake for PC (includes quality of life changes but keeps the essence and style for the original game)
A Link to the Past (SNES) - Nintendo Switch online SNES virtual console (includes save states), also rereleased on the Gameboy Advance as a bundled game with Four Swords
Link’s Awakening (Gameboy) - rereleased on the Gameboy Color as Link’s Awakening DX (aka the game now has color), Nintendo Switch online gameboy virtual console (includes save states, I believe you can only play DX)
Link’s Awakening HD (Switch) - released in 2019 for the Switch, a complete remake of the original game and has many quality of life changes including an art style update
Ocarina of Time (N64) - requires Nintendo switch online PRO account to play the N64 virtual console (not the regular online membership), was also rereleased on the GameCube twice (one copy includes master edition the other copy includes majora’s mask and the wind waker demo, if you grab a copy you can play it on the Wii as well)
Ocarina of Time 3D (3DS) - A remake of Ocarina of Time for the 3DS, only available on the 3DS
Majora’s Mask (N64) - requires Nintendo switch online PRO account to play the N64 virtual console (not the regular online membership), was also rereleased on the GameCube as a bundle with Ocarina of time (if you grab a copy you can play it on the Wii as well)
Majora’s Mask 3D (3DS) - A remake of Majora’s Mask, only available on the 3DS, I heard the mechanical changes to the game make it a little clunky
Oracle of Seasons (Gameboy Color) - dual release game with Oracle of Ages and can link both games data to unlock a special ending where you fight Ganon and Twinrova, I personally bought this on sale on the 3DS shop before it closed, also on the Gameboy color virtual console for Nintendo Switch Online (includes save states) - PLAY ORDER WITH OOA DOES NOT MATTER
Oracle of Ages (Gameboy Color) - dual release game with Oracle of Seasons and can link both games data to unlock a special ending where you fight Ganon and Twinrova, I personally bought this on sale on the 3DS shop before it closed, also on the Gameboy color virtual console for Nintendo Switch Online (includes save states) - PLAY ORDER WITH OOS DOES NOT MATTER
Four Swords (Gameboy Advance) - multiplayer game, virtually impossible to play today unless you and 3 other friends all have a copy of the original game, 4 GBAs, and linking cables - just watch a playthrough online (although I got headaches from watching playthroughs so brace yourself for a lot of screaming)
The Wind Waker (GameCube) - If you’re able to get your hands on a GameCube and copy I highly recommend it, a remastered HD version was released on the WiiU that included graphical changes as well as major item/discovery changes, can also emulate on Dolphin but the game will completely crash if you use the Pictobox so not recommended if you look to 100% the game (can also link you GBA to the GameCube version to use for the Tingle Tuner mini game)
Four Sword Adventures (GameCube and GBA) - multiplayer game, also virtually impossible to play today unless you have 3 other friends and a GameCube and a copy of the game, I believe you can link you GBA to the game and use that as a controller but I’m not 100% if that’s a requirement or not, I recommend just watching a playthrough but again there seems to be a yelling problem with this game
The Minish Cap (Gameboy Advanced) - I bought a knockoff copy for my GBA on Etsy for like $15 that worked beautifully (just don’t let your gba die while playing the game or else it’ll erase all your data), you can also play on the Nintendo Switch PRO gameboy advance virtual console (with save states)
Twilight Princess (GameCube) - was originally released on GameCube but was rereleased on Wii with I believe motion controls, the Wii version also completely flips the map and Link’s model to fit with right hand motion controls so the game not completely canon (such as TP Link is canonically left handed, not right) , was rereleased as an HD version on WiiU which includes graphical updates
Phantom Hourglass (DS) - requires stylus to play, need physical copy to play but can be played on DS or 3DS
Spirit Tracks (DS) - requires stylus to play, need physical copy to play but can be played on DS or 3DS
Skyward Sword (Wii) - Motion controls are required from my understanding of the Wii version, the HD version released on the Switch makes motion controls optional and has graphical updates (imo the controls are still horrendous on switch)
A Link Between Worlds (3DS) - currently only playable on 3DS
Triforce Heroes (3DS) - meant for multiplayer but has a single player mode, currently only playable on 3DS
Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - rereleased on Switch
Tears of the Kingdom (Switch) - released last year so only on switch
If you want to watch playthroughs for some of the games I recommend Keith Ballard as he started playing the Zelda series for the first time 5 years ago and plays 1-2 games per year (he’s done every 3D game and a few of the 2D and spin off games)
Basically every spinoff game (aka all non canon games - Hyrule warriors, age of calamity, cadence of hyrule) are on the switch, my Nintendo Picross Twilight Princess edition is the only one that became impossible to play once the 3ds eshop closed
For the most part if you have a switch and a hacked 3ds you can play almost every Zelda game. For the wind waker and twilight princess i was able to find a GameCube and Wii copy of their respective games at a retro game store so I highly recommend searching locally. I believe I also got ALTTP gameboy, phantom hourglass, spirit tracks, triforce heroes, and a link between worlds all locally. I also found ocarina of time + the master quest GameCube version for like $50 at half priced books which was one of the biggest wins (i also found tp GameCube there too but it was $150 and didn’t want to pay that much)
If you’re completely new to Zelda I highly recommend with starting with Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask, I actually watched Keith Ballard play both of those games while recovering from surgery and started looking into how I could play all of the games myself. There’s also no shame in watching a playthrough as although Nintendo is good about porting their old games, they are behind so many paywalls. From there you can decide if you want to go through the 3D games (I recommend chronologically by release date) or the 2D games (The Minish Cap and A Link Between Worlds are REALLY good 2D games but I love basically every 2D game except the multiplayer games so I honestly recommend playing all of them fjdkslf) . DON’T WORRY ABOUT THE TIMELINE!!! Just play the games how you want bc the timeline does not matter at all and was shoehorned into the series after like most of the games were released so it’s like trying to fit puzzles pieces that don’t fit together

some silly stupid little rogues galley headcanons i have
- Joker loves playing Nintendo games and has sent all the rogues switches & Nintendo online memberships so they have NO excuse to not play games when he invites them
- Harley is super good at painting nails! She loves to play nail technician for the fellow rogues too! Twoface is one of her favorite customers, they gossip while she paints
- Harvey freaking loves cheesy romantic comedies
- Joker celebrates his birth month, he's one of those people who wears a crown and sash. Also no one has any idea how old he is, he picks a new number every year
- Scarecrow doesn't talk about goofy crime anything until he's had his breakfast. It's a bowl of corn flakes and he just wants normalcy for five minutes before he has to deal
- Joker eats uncooked frozen waffles and has a preference for blueberry
- Twoface repeatedly comes out as gay to the rogues all the time and they’re always like “we know, we support you!”.
- Harley makes Spotify playlists for all her friends!
- The rogues all get together to watch and judge the dateline/actor reenactment movies that get made about them. So far Mr. Freeze probably has the best one (and the bar is pretty low) and of course Joker’s is the worst! However, Scarecrow’s is the most meme worthy
- Riddler and Joker each have tumblr blogs where they “anonymously” shit on and harass each other but it’s like sibling level bullying

Three in One Post.
For my A-Pal's On this Day Posts.
First the Easter Pic.
It looks nice to remember the Easter Pic he did. He especially did include Amber from Camp Lazlo on the list because I always wanted to see her team up with Anais, Panini and Halley. They make a good team together, besides Babs Bunny.
And for his Memory of getting his Xbox One.
I also got an Xbox One too, except it's the White Slim kind, and even my Mom's Friend's son had one, but it's the same Model as my A-Pal's. But I have got an Xbox One since Christmas 2016, which my brother and i got, but then my brother wants to stick with using the PlayStation 4 which he focuses on. And I usually play the Xbox One anytime I get Bored. But ever since the Wii U was a bit of a let down for Nintendo, which I have used the Wii U a lot ever since I got a White Wii U for my 16th birthday. And a few games for it. And for Xbox One, I even got a free Download Code for Battlefield 1, Battle born, Minecraft Story Mode, Guitar Hero Live, Rare Replays, Resident Evil Origins Collection, Project Sparks, and even Resident Evil Revelations 2. But I also have Resident Evil Revelations 2 on my Switch despite taking the game a whole lot of space. And I don't mind playing the Xbox since I use it anytime I get bored or want to use Microsoft Edge to look up some references and use Spotify anytime I want to listen to music. And I can sometimes get a Membership if I just want to play Online or have the free time to do so. E en if I can get either Game Pass Core or Ultimate.
And for my P-Pal's On this Day Post.
Even though sometimes Swords can be pretty heavy depending on the weight, I'm sure they both get him another car or they can get it fixed.

You (and another person on here) have single handedly gotten me into the Mario and Luigi rpg games. I will soon either get 1, a 3ds or a gameboy advance and play the game that way, or 2, renew my Nintendo switch online membership and get the expansion pack+membership thing. Be proud. You've infected me with your brainrot. A trophy will be soon arriving in your mailbox. It will have the words "#1 mario and luigi fawful fan" carved in, except Mario and Luigi is crossed out and fawful is written in red sharpie.
LMAO I'M HONORED
WHEN YOU PLAY YOU SHOULD UPDATE ME HOW IT GOES!!! I hope you enjoy the series!! (And thanks for the hypothetical trophy... I will treasure it dearly...)

maybe i shouldn’t be complaining since i refuse to buy any of the new pokemon games until there’s an improvement quality wise but for the people sticking around with the franchise the sv dlc is actually insulting. ngl i feel the need to emphasize that i do still love pokemon despite all the blunders in recent years and i’m only so harsh because i want the series to improve and also prove that it doesn’t have to be the butt of jokes now that it’s become infamous for low quality and a rabid fanbase. hell, the fans deserve so much better. they have saintly patiences to put up with the treatment nostalgia blind or not. they shouldn’t be treated like mindless consumers that will buy every bit of slop put out because they, too, love and want to see the franchise they adore get better.
but i don’t care how many copies it sold or how good the story is. i don’t care if it’s overhated or something. i don’t care who decided for it to be priced the way it is or if the staff working on it did the best they could (because it is the higher ups’ fault). this is an insult. this is inexcusable. this is a prime example of how far not just the series but triple a gaming has fallen.
Tumblr media
if you have violet, you have to wait a couple more months. if you don’t have the switch online membership or friends to trade with, you have to buy the same game—a game that costs $60 without tax—and, regardless, pay over half the price to experience a dlc for a game that released in such a poor state that there was mass refunds and nintendo actually had to issue an apology for. that’s visually horrendous and runs like trash for a modern title for a triple a franchise. that still has bugs and glitches galore that hasn’t been ironed out much if at all. that’s basically another cog in the modern gaming mentality machine that is “release the game unfinished.” that’s only backbone is the pre existing fanbase and, again, nostalgia like its goddamn disney. all for a couple new pokemon and the chance that it’s better than the base game. if it has to cost money, at most, it would be worth $10.
i have no idea who decided the pricing but. higher ups at game freak, nintendo, whatever, you make millions upon millions every quarter from merchandise alone. the team that works on these games is incredibly small and not even near the number of workers on other gaming projects by other studios not nearly as successful as the pokemon dev studio. there’s not many who need to be paid and hell they’re probably getting paid the bare minimum. pokemon is the highest grossing franchise in the world. you can afford to make the dlc cheaper. you can afford to take more time to develop newer shit. nobody will complain or care.
please for the love of god do not support this. even if you decide anyways to pay for the dlc, don’t just turn a blind eye to what’s actually going on and where your money actually goes because it does not go towards the improvement of the product’s quality. this goes for anything, really, but for such a big franchise this is especially appalling.

Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Switch Online adds Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age on January 17
Gematsu Source
Tumblr media
Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Switch Online will add Golden Sun and sequel Golden Sun: The Lost Age on January 17, Nintendo announced.
Here is an overview of the game, via Nintendo:
Golden Sun
From the humble village of Vale to the mystical peaks of Mt. Aleph, the Golden Sun game sets magic-wielding young heroes Isaac, Garet, Ivan and Mia on a quest to prevent the ancient power of Alchemy from being unleashed on their home world of Weyard. Their adventure takes them through towns, caverns and dungeons as they face wily enemies, confounding puzzles and epic challenges that push their magical abilities (Psynergy) to their absolute limits. Along the way, they get help from mysterious creatures known as the Djinn, who aid the heroes in harnessing their Psynergy to unlock potent spells and unstoppable attacks.
Golden Sun: The Lost Age
A direct sequel to Golden Sun, the Golden Sun: The Lost Age game presents a dramatic shift as the story now follows Felix—a young Adept (or magic user) who was the antagonist of the first game—on his mission to prove that Alchemy isn’t a destructive force, but one that could save Weyard after all. Forced to join Felix on his quest are Adepts Jenna and Sheba and the wizened scholar Kraden, all of whom struggle to keep Felix on task as powerful and enigmatic new challenges face them all. Featuring cooperative* gameplay that allows for friends to join your merry (and sometimes not-so-merry) band, as well as turn-based combat, puzzle-solving, open world exploration and RPG-inspired character upgrades, Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age are layered with unpredictable gameplay built around an engrossing and engaging story. The more you get to know Weyard, the more mysterious it gets. So, what do you say? Ready to fall under its spell? *Additional games, systems and/or accessories may be required for multiplayer mode. Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Switch Online is available as part of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership.

For Nintendo purposes I'm now a resident of portland, oregon.
When I got my switch (last year, as a gift) and I tried to open the eshop, I found out just to open the fucking shop you need to be from a handful of select, privileged countries. So I went into my Nintendo account and changed my location to the US.
Recently I got myself a dollar card. In my country, it's almost (practically) impossible to send any amount of money outside the country. So no online international purchases at all. Unless you go through a third party to buy gift cards. But some time ago, the government + nepal rastra bank started issuing prepaid dollar cards, with a limit of $500.
I'd been thinking of getting one since the cards became available but hadn't because a. having to go the bank, and b. I'd, for some reason, with no proof, thought one needed to load all five hundred dollars at once, and that's a lot of money. And then I saw a post on r/nepal that said patreon doesn't take prepaid cards. And that made me even more hesitant about getting a dollar card.
But now that I have some money, I said fuck it and went to the bank. Didn't take more than 20 minutes and turns out you can load a little at a time ($10 one-time activation charge, $2 charge per load) upto 500 a year. But I was still apprehensive about using it.
Last night I plucked up the courage and got the 7 day free trial for the Nintendo switch online membership (can't believe you need payment details to get a FREE trial). (But more importantly, WHY THE FUCKING FUCK DO WE HAVE TO PAY TO GO ONLINE WHEN WE COULD DO THAT FOR FREE ON THE 3DS AND THE CONSOLES THAT CAME BEFORE.)
It asked for my location, and again I set it to USA. It asked me for my zipcode, which will be needed to calculate sales tax. So I look up the states with the lowest sales tax and it turns out Alaska and oregon don't have that. At first I thought of going with anchorage bc I'm cool like that but then I stopped and thought wouldn't a bigger city like portland get more offers? As if I was going to go to a physical store there myself? What? So anyway i entered the first zipcode I saw of portland and everything went well and now I have a free trial that expires in 6 days and apparently auto renews to the monthly subscription.
The first thing I did after being able to go online was connect to pokemon go (that was a whole ordeal and half). The second thing I did was do a surprise trade (got a gible for a meditite). And then I joined a tera raid, for a hoothoot. And idk what the shiny chances are for these tera raids but
Tumblr media
I got a shiny rock tera hoothoot woooo
