Interesting little thing, Sorn and Nym Orlith's names can both be found in the "male" section of drow names from Dragon Magazine (Sorn meaning enchanted or spell, Nym meaning skeleton or skull, and possibly Orly-th meaning Guild of Challenges).

Sorn says they fled because male drow are treated like dogs. At first I figured it meant his sister went with him for a genuine care of her brother and twin (and perhaps still is the case) but I wonder if Nym is trans and transitioned after leaving the Underdark but kept her name.

Is this angry bitch of a detective siting in a room with a group of nerds(affectionate) roleplaying the prettiest, wholesome level 11 elven druid, mom of the party, voice of reason?

Or is Gavin out there just roleplaying Astarion.

she actually knew halesia when they were both younger, but both parted ways and haven't seen each other for many years. nym has since integrated herself into noble society under a pseudonym and a carefully constructed backstory that is always just a breath away from going up in flames. She'd thought that her noble lady con would allow her greater resources to find her sister with, but no such luck....(yet!)

Thinking about Atsushi staring distractededly out a window, not getting any work done, thinking of Akutagawa when he’s away on business.

Dazai notices and - being the Shin Soukoku shipper that he is - snaps a picture to send to the man in question.

A few minutes later, Atsushi gets a text from Akutagawa that reads: Miss me, weretiger?

And Atsushi beams from ear to ear, his entire day made as he eagerly begins texting back.

Just watched Last Night in Soho and I adored it and do recommend watching it but the main character was so lesbian coded that to me the biggest plot twist in that movie was that none of those sapphic Chekhov's guns (Sappho's buns, if you will) paid off?

Was I really supposed to read a country girl that just moved to a big city and on her first night out stops to stare in awe at the door of a striptease with GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS written in neon pink letters as straight? A girl that dreams of becoming a fashion designer but when she goes to sleep gets to witness the life of another girl in the 60s, and becomes so enchanted with her beauty and charisma she not only makes her her muse (it was Anya Taylor-Joy so who can blame her) but also dyes her hair and starts dressing like her as straight?? A girl who flees a party in the verge of a nervous breakdown, looks in distress at the several straight couples making out near her and then proceeds to scream at the friendly boy that's been coded throughout the movie as her potential love interest how she wishes she could be like everyone else, just before she kisses him in what reads as a desperate hail mary, as fucking straight???
