It appears I have been sung towards a very fine establishment indeed! Upon witnessing the great Fun being had here, I found it of very, very, much, much.... i-imperch... to make myself a little housing point here! As of now, I have four missions to complete:

1: Get my hourglass dog back! I threw him up on Auction Day, but to my great misfortune, the last time I saw him was during my race against my friend Moony to meet the Great Runas. The reward for finding him is currently choccies, but it may rise to such heights as one fatty catty if the circumstances become too dire...

2: Communicate some information to my dear pal Moony! Indeed, you lovely reader, that is an astute observation, I seemed to have already communicated something to her. Unfortunately, that was a gift, not an information, and as she was the gift there was nothing to communicate. She communicated herself to herself. If there are any Moonies out there, please reach out to me, I am in quite the kerfluffle.

3: Find the Fun! Now, this is a very biggity big personal goal of mine- I simply must find it! I can't go ON with these INCOMPREHENSIBLE FEELINGS FOREVER!!! ADHFDKJSAHFJK WAHHHHHHHH- ahem. my sincerest apologies. But, in any case, my aim is to find the true essence of merriment! I do not understand it yet... but I hope to! Very soon!

4: Eat turròn. To my great distress, I have recently come to the realization that since I have gifted my turròn to the beautiful Shepherd (who, by the way, I would also love to meet again) , I never got the chance to eat it. This is upsetting to me. I wish to eat the turròn. If there are any turròns out there with turròn recipes or any turròn of turròn, please turròn to me with the turrònformation. THIS ONE IS HARD ummm see the thing is. they havent reconciled in the last 8 years.... and well. a large amount of history resentment and ego is preventing that from happening. which means we are left to theater of the mind to heal one of the most entrenched sports divorces EVER. one that has become a major part of their respective legacies and has been highly publicized by them both. so theyve got a lot on the line if they want to reconcile. and ive said that i DO think it should be valentino to make the first move here but um. well. i genuinely dont know how to get him to that point ! ive got amporphous ideas about a post-retirement crisis/re-evaluation (helpfully dovetails with marc having the worst time vis a vis his injury), them being in forced proximity and remembering they have insane chemistry/the same sense of humor, marc publicly looking like a slut, and many other somewhat plausible scenarios but until it happens (IT WILL. please please please youre nothing) im just throwing darts at the board.

honestly okay so like for as soft and sweet and Wants To Do Good gen is, there's a part of her that if given enough fuel is truly terrifying. for as fucking silly goofy she is, she is incredibly fucking powerful and the only thing keeping her from accessing their full power is Death and even then, it's to protect himself from her. if he didn't think she'd try and kill him and had experience with her attempting to, he'd let her loose. the veil is as old as death, the veil has power that death wants, and just it's all very messy because gen and the veil are the same thing only gen doesn't know this , and death just kinda is banking on that being what will eventually let him access the power. the cycle has been going on for a very very very long time like so fucking long because gen won't stop fighting. and when someone comes along and reminds her that she's loved or that she's not fucking alone or that she doesn't have to carry all the weight, it makes the fighting easier to do and makes it harder for death to have influence over them. it also makes death super fucking mad and petty and cruel and yeah it's not great it's not fun!! it rarely ends well!! getting close to gen is rarely a good idea because of this. they are doomed! it's a tragedy!

ahem to answer your question, I think you're referring to "Rusalka" and "Shlyukha"? A rusalka is a sort of malicious spirit that's associated with water, and is often called Russia's version of the mermaid (apparently. I know zero russian, and google is a good friend of mine)

And "Shlyukha".... is uh. a very rude word for women/prostitutes. it means like whore, slut, or hooker, that kind of thing. (again, per what google tells me.) Hence her response to what he said.
