Some thoughts of our favourite cook with a friend just like him.

"Hey Sanji~" (Y/n) said with a sing song voice. Both Strawhats stood side by side as they watched the ship decend even further underwater. The coating keeping everyone safe from being crushed by the pressure.

(Y/n) made sure to wear clothes that didn't reveal too much, opting to stay warm just as Robin had warned. Plus she didn't need her friend having a nosebleed.

"Where were you during the two years?" She asked, " You never told me."

Sanji looked traumatized. He held onto his chest to stop his heart from stopping at the horror-filled memories.

"I was in hell. Every second there was..." The poor man couldn't even finish his sentences. His face had gone deathly pale.

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO YOU?" She asked. Concerned at what he had gone through.

( Y/n ) watched as Sanji dived towards all the mermaids. She was honestly asking herself how she was friend with that pervert.

"Sometimes I really wanna know why me and that idiot over there are friends. Doesn't he have class?" She shook her head at his actions.

"Don't act all goody two shoes, you're both cut from the same cloth." Ussop judged the woman. His eyes squinted accusingly.

"HOW?!" (Y/n) reacted, shark shaped teeth bared. She was prepared to argue her case like a lawyer.

"Just a few minutes ago when we met up at Sabaody. Don't you remember?"

Flashback

"Looks like we're all finally here." (Y/n) said to herself.  Making sure to take count of everyone. She sat down and watched as the ship started going underwater. She could hear an argument between Zoro and Sanji.

"Just admit that you're outmatched number seven." Zoro smirked.

"Just because you got here first doesn't mean you're better than everybody!" Sanji yelled back, annoyed.

"I don't need to be better than everybody, just better than you."

'Oooohhhhhh. Sanji can't recover from that one. But I can. '

Just before (Y/n) could go rescue her friend, she took a good look at Zoro.  He seemed to have gotten taller and a lot more stronger in the last two years and that outfit change made wonders.

(Y/n)'s eyes turned to hearts. Ussop was able to catch this transformation live. His eyes widening at the speed.

"ZOROOOOOOOO~" She began, twirling toward the swordsman. Sanji's cigarette dropped of its own accord. The love tornado nearing in their direction looked dangerous.

"Huh?" Zoro caught sight of the approaching tornado. Well, sh*t.

Unbeknownst to them Nami had tapped Robin's shoulder so they could see the event about to take place.

The tornado caught Sanji and threw him to the side gently before slowing to a stop.

A rose was held up to Zoro as (Y/n) kneeled with one knee on the ground. Flowers had magically appeared around the Sunny  and  sparkles shone around the woman's eyes.

"Roronoa Zoro, you look as gorgeous as ever," she began. " No man in the world could be as handsome as you. The heavens took their time to carefully craft you and believe me, I adore the results."

Sanji's mouth fell to the floor from where he had graciously landed. He couldn't believe the betrayal.

"Get away from me, woman!" Zoro yelled but he didn't seem to shoo her away. Instead his cheeks had lightly dusted with some light pink. He averted his eyes grumbling to himself.

"You don't seem to want me to go away though," she smirked at him leaning forward till their noses nearly touched. She was on her tippy toes.  Her index finger and thumb kept his head in place so he couldn't escape.

Zoro froze in shock. This woman will be the death of me.

Sanji tornadoed towards the two and stole (Y/n) away leaving Zoro discombobulated and slightly flustered. Even after two years of everyone not seeing each other, the woman still managed to have an effect on him.

Flashback over

"That was one time!"  She tried to defend herself.

"Oh really, some of the things you say and do are more questionable that what Sanji does." Ussop continued.

"Like?" The woman crossed her arms, waiting for the sniper's explanation.

FLASHBACK

"If those guys weren't trying to hurt Big sis Robin, I woulda said smash."

Everyone at the train looked at her in shock. She was just looking outside and watching the perilous waves of Aqua Laguna with a dejected sigh.It seemed she was voicing her thoughts out loud.

When she caught their eyes on her she shrugged,"What? Just saying it like it is. But if they do hurt Robin I'm ready to up my kill count."

Another time

"Where did you get all those ropes Paulie," (Y/n) questioned the man. Everyone in the sea train was busy with their own thing but some were wondering the same thing. "It's kinda creepy."

"Well I–" he tried to defend himself but was interrupted.

"Creepy, but kinky."😏

Zoro pulled the woman away from Paulie and trapped her between his arms and placing her on his lap, effectively stopping her from talking. 'No.'

"SHE'S SO BOLD!" Both the Galley La and Franky Family yelled.

Nami smiled to herself. Ussop owed her a lot of money.

(The bet was how long she could go without saying something risky)

Another time

(Y/n) watched as Zoro brought Chopper back from nearly being eaten by sky sharks."Chopper are you alright?" For once the woman wasn't being a tornado, her eyes showed the worry for her reindeer friend.

"He'll be alright." Zoro stated. He took of his t-shirt. And went to find a new one.

He took of the shirt?!

He took it off.

(Y/n) froze. A war raged between her heart and mind. Turn around to look or have some decency and not look. She started sweating. Nami caught sight of her unusual posture and shook her which ended up making (Y/n) have a glimpse of Zoro changing into a blue vest in her peripheral.

"(Y/n) what's wrong, are you alright?"

The woman fainted. Well, not exactly. She was still awake but had hearts flying around her and her face was super warm.

"I think  Ms Spy is a little too excited from seeing our swordsman here. " Robin diagnosed. A chuckle escaping her lips.

"Seriously you and that ero-cook are  just unbelievable." Zoro sighed in annoyance.

"But what's that red colour on your fac3?" Chopper pointed out, basically snitching on Zoro.

Another time

"Guys this is my brother Ace." Luffy announced. 

"Ace here's my crew. Nami's the navigator, Zoro's the swordsman and also my firstmate, Chopper's the doctor , Sanji is the cook and (Y/n) is the spy."

Ace had taken a look at every one before meeting eyes with (Y/n). It seemed that Sanji had already placed tape on her mouth and had tied her up. All that anyone could see was the woman's heart shaped eyes.

Everyone breathed out a sigh of relief much to Ace's confusion and Zoro's irritation.

Flashback over

"In short, that's why you two are best friends."Ussop concluded, pointer finger in the air and a whiteboard behind with various drawings of the scenes . "Plus you two are great at combat when paired."

(Y/n) was walking away from Ussops lesson. "WHERE ARE YOU GOING?"

"I'm gonna find Zoro,"

"With what?"

"MY LOVE COMPASS OF COURSE!" The woman said as she twirled away with hearts revolving around her.Ussop sighed at her antics.

"ZORO-SWEET! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

Max will be experiencing the horrors when Jenson meets reverse age gap Daniel

Jenson was The Playboy of the paddock, one half of Slagclaren, he’s flirting with jailbait Daniel while interviewing him for Sky

So! I think, they meet because Daniel accidentally bumps into Jenson when he and Max are talking through the paddock (its busy!) and Jenson like stops him from falling by pulling him close. So we have Daniel clutching to Jenson and smelling how good he smells and then when he stumbles backwards, apologising- BAM he's bowled over by sexy dilf Jenson.

Max was also trying to steady him but Daniel's gazing up at Jenson like he's never seen a man before and Jenson winks at him and Max scowls and pulls them away.

Post race, Daniel is being interviewed by Sky and Jenson throws an arm around his shoulders while he interviews him and Daniel is stumbling over his words and blushing and licking his lips. Its hot! and hes dehydrated! he's sipping a lot from his bottle for something to do so he doesn't make a fool of himself.

Max is watching from the media pen and hes not happy. Poor Lawrence is interviewing him and thinks Max is glaring at him when truly he's looking over Lawrence's shoulder at Jenson clutching Daniel close.

Has there even been a mission or scheme involving only Scrooge, Negaduck, and Max?

Oooohhhhhh. I would really like to see something like that! Max is the young man that Negaduck ended up appreciating "forcedly", but who is still a bit inexperienced, so the villain is always watching him on some mission. Scrooge is the old man who is almost in his 80s, but does NOT show that age at all by having so much energy, physical endurance, mental clarity, and a great ability to succeed in some McDuck adventure. Still, the old duck became the closest thing to "a father figure" to Negaduck, so I wouldn't be surprised if the villain is always watching over him too. Two people who became important to Negaduck, who is already known as being very overprotective. It would be a VERY COMPLICATED mission, since Max would want to prove that he could gain experience, and Scrooge is "no boy to look after." But Negaduck is Negaduck^^' The Mallard would be SO stressed^^'

To start, there shall be a trend in these ships that boils down to “brooder and comforter.” One half of the couple is a bit (or maybe a lot) down on themselves and their partner is the warm embrace they need in life. The dynamic will forever and always be beautiful to me, just as much as “two pure sweethearts.”

Obanai x Mitsuri

Makes sense and 1000% compelled by it.

Obviously Obanai and Mitsuri fit that to a tee! Obanai is very clearly a broody boy and he states outright that Mitsuri saved him with her cheerfulness and smile. But it would be a massive disservice to the ship to ignore that Obanai also was Mitsuri's comforter in a way. She felt the way that he looked at her with affection whenever they were together which meant the world to her since she felt like it would be hard to love. They never judged each other and felt loved with one another and AAAAHHHHH HADKJHFLKAUHEILTHALEKTHKAEJG!

I know I've brought this up in the past but it bears repeating that I love this ship so much that I managed to work it into a college paper about depictions of (failed) romance in Japanese literature. Because, well, in a sense Obanai and Mitsuri's love wasn't successful. Let me share a bit of that essay to get my point across.

This mutual but unrecognized love is best described by the chapter title revealing Obanai’s backstory. The Japanese title is “hitsūna renjō” (悲痛な恋情) which I would translate as “a painful, miserable romance.” Mitsuri and Obanai’s feelings of self-loathing make their love a painful burden on their hearts. Even their confession is ultimately tragic, as both are in tears and on the cusp of death when their feelings come out.

Then again, the cycle of reincarnation allowed that love to continue and be acted upon. Still, this ship makes me VIBRATE with all the emotions. It's so unfair that Gotoge was able to invest me in this romance with only brief snippets and a small reassuring epilogue. And then the fandom just hammers the stake deeper into my heart. ObaMitsu. Beloved ship~!

Jellal x Erza

OOOOHHHHHH! Man, it's been forever and a half since I really watched Fairy Tail but Jerza is that ship that sticks with you (and Gajevy but that wasn't the ship asked for, now was it).

So much sense is made with the ship and it'll never not compel me.

Again, Jellal is the more blatant brooder but Erza has plenty of moments of hitting low points (and it's usually over Jellal). And again, they both act as a source of hope in each other's lives. These two knew each other as kids and they made strong impressions on each other clearly. I mean, Jellal made some strong impressions on many people for a variety of not good reasons... ANYWAYS! It makes so much sense that Erza is always holding out hope for Jellal because his turn to darkness back in the day was very out of the blue so deep down in her heart, she'd know that something wasn't quite right. And even as she loves him, Erza expects Jellal to take responsibility for his actions. You talked about it yourself when discussing this ship but with Jerza, their personal feelings don't immediately mean Jella's sins/crimes can be ignored. He has to work to right them and fix himself. Jellal changes not because he's browbeaten into it but because he wants to be better for Erza. And Jellal isn't the only one changing. Erza is able to open up and let herself wish a little more because the trauma of their history is slowly being healed. Their love is such a journey. Multiple times they're pulled apart before finding each other again. And each time they meet, they heal a little more, grow a little closer.

Lumiere x Secre

I won't say as much about these two as the others but I'm still a sucker for them!

In this case, Secre is the brooding soul while Lumiere is her comfort. She looked down on herself and her magic while Lumiere saw potential and inspiration. Lumiere gave Secre something to hope for and she gave him devotion. The way Secre's love endures over the centuries and she remembers to have hope from Lumiere's example is something that makes their love really special without them ever having to be in a relationship. We don't get Lumiere's perspective on Secre directly but the fact that he named his super special magic tool (the big spherical one) after her says quite a bit to me. She's important and special and helpful in Lumiere's eyes. Secre living on while Lumiere moves onto the afterlife is sad but he wishes her more happiness in a continuing future, even without him. It's an ending of separation but not of mourning and it's beautiful (even if I wish Lumiere could've stuck around).

Henry x Lorelei

I actually did read the fic where they meet a bit ago. It's just in my queue for reblogging. But ooooooohhhhhhh! I CAN GUSH HERE!

So I will be real, there is one detail of the ship that doesn't make sense to me. But that's Tabata's fault for making it that even low mana people feel drained by an extended exposure to Henry's mana draining. It's just unfair that really no one but Asta can safely be around him with his curse in place. So it's not on you. You made every other aspect of the ship wonderful. Henry definitely would fall for someone as openly sweet as Lorelei and her sense of whimsy is a wonderful complement to Henry's loneliness. The way he so shyly begins to talk to her is so in character and I think adding Lorelei to Henry's backstory helps explain why he's easily able to just talk to Yami and later Asta since he now has experience meeting someone new. Lorelei's Lucky Magic seems interesting (and fits in with David's Dice Magic) and well, I think it brought luck to both her and Henry. And do I even need to say it but this ship got me hooked with one fic. It may need more time in the microwave before it finds a permanent spot in my heart but... I'm digging the vibes already.

Nacht x Josele

YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!

I’ve talked Nacsele before for the ask game but I’m gonna talk again!

GAAAAHHHH! The way Nacht always loved Josele and was content(?) to simply love her from afar... Josele harboring her love for Nacht when she felt he didn't love her back... It gets so messy when she's with Morgen because he truly did make her happier than words could say. But half of Josele's heart was with Nacht. And when they finally get together, after much heartache and soul searching and doubting, it's gorgeous. Nacht is so hesitant about the relationship that he doesn't even call Josele his girlfriend for a while because he still sees Josele as Morgen's love. Josele too was hesitant, not wanting to risk her happiness being destroyed again, but once she got a talking to from one of the Bulls, she embraced the chance to be with Nacht and helps him with his steps into the future.

AND I LOVE THEIR FUTURE TOGETHER! Josele never really stops mourning Morgen and the future they could've had. But she doesn't lose sight of the future she's attained with Nacht. She loves Nacht and the way he's able to forgive himself. And Nacht accepts that Josele will always have Morgen in her heart, he really wouldn't have it any other way. Nacht slowly but surely frees himself of his guilt and self-loathing to full embrace all the affection that Josele always had for him.

My ship... I love...

4. Are you "out" to your family and friends?

Technically yes, but I’m no contact with them now. With like basically all of them, sooo. Yeah.

9. When did you realize you weren't cishet?

Ironically, I first realized that I wasn’t straight while at bible camp (went four years in row from 9-14). Raised in a very conservative area, and didn’t have the words to explain what I was feeling yet. Until I made a tumblr for the first time at 18 (it’s gone now), and learned what bisexuality is. So I thought I was bi for a while. And THEN, it was a few years later watching a try guys video, where they got styled by high schoolers. When Eugene walked out, I was like OOOOHHHHHH ok im pan. That’s what I am.

As for gender stuff, I didn’t realize that until I was 23. Strangely, it was a photography course that made me realize it. It was the part where they were talking about branding, and I decided on a cutesy name sidy.photography (based on part of my deadname). There was just some weird foreign feeling with that, and eventually after a few days I realized “OH WAIT! HOLY SHIT! I WANNA BE CALLED SID” and that woke up a whole other beast and long story short, I started off genderfluid, then nonbinary, then trans masc and non binary. That’s where I am now.

So this is also interesting. For me, wearing makeup makes me feel more masc, even like full glam. And shaving my head makes me feel more fem. Idk man 🤷

Pam doesn’t get why Squid (farmer) has such a big issue with her tho

It’s mostly due to the unapologetic alcoholism and putting Squids life in danger every time she wants to go to skull caverns (which also puts her life in danger but that one’s justified)

She made a copy of his underwear and now wears them constantly and Lewis can’t get her to stop

She’s pissed at him for making a golden statue while the village needed funding, screwing Marnie over in some highschool forbidden romance type thing they’ve got going on, and the list goes on

He now looks for any excuse to get her in trouble

But she’s been in trouble all her life and is good at shifting blame or feigning innocence (because she does genuinely fuck with him a lot)

The Syndicate felt hopeless as they saw the Crimson Vines that took over Dream’s cell. Tommy was silent for the moment, their only other hope of defeating the Egg was now gone.

“Maybe we still have time, this is Dream we're talking about. He wouldn’t go down without a fight and he sure as hell would not just bow down to an overgrown egg…” Phil spoke as he put a hand on Tommy’s shoulder to guide him with the others as they all followed Sam back through the hallways and back to the entrance of the Prison.

All of them avoided the red vines they noticed were now growing throughout the prison as if now that they found the reason for the building gone, they are free to show them the reason for the prisoner’s disappearance.

Dream grunted as another vine tightened painfully around his torso, his legs completely numb from kneeling for so long. The voices still whispering and occasionally screeching in his head, tempting offers and his desires that slowly ate away at his resistance.

He never noticed as Bad stepped up behind him until he was grabbed by his hair and forced to put his head against the Egg, his mask clacking loudly as it connected with the hard surface and the edges dug into his skin at the edges.

Dream tensed as the voices increased in both volume and intensity, his body started to go cold. Gritting his teeth as the corrupting magic of the red abomination started to once more seep into his code.

He didn’t know how much longer his shielding would hold before the influence of the Egg broke through and took him over. He just prayed that someone…anyone would notice his disappearance and come looking for him. Although he knew chances of that happening were next to none.

Moments later he felt something inside him crack and a scream ripped itself free and the sound echoed throughout the Chambers of the Eggpire and could faintly be heard by the guards outside the Spider Spawn.

The Eggpireans smiled as the Egg thrummed through them all, letting them feel its contentment as it continued its assault on the Nightmare of the SMP.

Techno waited impatiently on the other side of the Nether portal for his companions to return. He silently cursed the citizens of the Greater Dream SMP for labeling him as a wanted criminal, sinc that was the main reason he could not join the Syndicate or Tommy when they went to retrieve Dream from the Vault and head to stop the Egg.

He wouldn’t admit it out loud to anyone except maybe Phil, but he misses hanging out with the homeless teletubby and sparring with him was fun since they both didn’t really know what to expect when they traded blows, but he was the only one he could actually spar with that could keep up. He was his rival for Blood God’s sake.

Sapnap felt something inside him twinge, causing his movement to stutter as his sword missed a cow he was about to slaughter. He looked off toward the direction of the Badlands, something inside him was missing and he didn’t like the feel of it.

In a cottage far from the Greater SMP, a certain Goggled man let out a gasp, his consciousness nearly coming up to the surface before a white gloved hand touched his forehead and he was once more pulled back into the land of dreams.

The figure that hovered over the sleeping man straightened himself, his body flickering and red vines appearing on him before they too disappeared with the next flicker. The X on the mask it wore slowly started to change colors.

the way he goes feral when something or someone he loves is threatened. he would (and can lol) move mountains if he felt it was necessary to protect what he loves. i’m the same, except i can’t actually move a mountain

well. i do enjoy writing him as the confident and charming turtle he is. you know leo’s baby brother got that rizz. there is literally nothing i don’t like about writing him. i used to not like the way i wrote him, but i’ve improved immensely since starting sunshine and that makes me happy

Oooohhhhhh man, but also also? Hunter’s speech to Belos? Him telling Belos, right there, that he doesn’t want to be the Golden Guard anymore? That he’s not going to be the Hunter Belos made him to be, he’s going to be someone else. Hunter saying who he is, what he wants. That was so so so good.

Belos is standing there, mocking Luz for what she wants and saying he doesn’t care about her wants.

But then Hunter’s fighting back. Weakly, yes, his punch was so weak, but he fought. And he tells Belos,

Hi, I like your blog and really enjoy the articles and data you publish it’s very interesting. I wanted to pick your brain about your stance on psychiatric abuse for DID. Like, how do you feel about kluft because he is the bane of my existence. If you really wanna get into it I worked with colin ross in person who was the head of the international institute of trauma. Hes horrific. I think the thing that bothers me the most is I belive at some point i stumbled on a psychiatric guide for therapists on how to handle DID written by kluft (it was older, thank god, maybe 1990?) that said it is a-okay to hypnotize a paitent without their consent in order to gain access to alters.

On another note, I typically don’t do syscourse but from your stuff comes off to me as similar to the issue otherkin have with “kinnies” or kin for fun. Where theres a group of people who absolutely do not seem to give a fuck about a label and use it anyways. Even if it damages a legitimate community. I’ve met plenty of fine endos myself but. Yeah. Ive seen the other types around to.

That man

First-- thank you, hi, nice to meet you, welcome

Second-- I just want to put correct information out there so people can more easily figure out what they're experiencing ):

Third, have a rant of sorts, the last couple lines are about Ross, because I know that's what we're all waiting for

I am psych critical, there are good doctors and there are bad doctors, and then there are very bad doctors

The field of psychiatry is not the issue-- the field is good, the goal is good, the treatments are good when applied at the clients' request and with their consent-- IE, all treatments have merit (save for a select few "programs" that just flat out go against human rights), but not all treatments will work for everyone on a personal AND practical level-- both of which are required to make a treatment plan work

The doctors are where the issue is. And not all doctors are bad-- like any kind of relationship, people aren't going to mesh with everyone. Any doctor is good, provided THAT SPECIFIC CLIENT finds their treatment methods and approach to be both personally and practically effective.

Let's take the example of a Catholic therapist. Not conservative, just religious, and he uses that in his sessions-- not pushing it on his clients, but using it as a tool to help him and maybe try to bring a certain kind of positivity into the sessions. Me, being very unreligious, would be on the edge from the first mention. Depending on how he handles that reaction will decide whether he is a good or bad doctor for me. If he's a good doctor, he'll adjust his behaviour and approach accordingly, without a second thought. If he's a bad one, he'll ignore that reaction, and continue using his own methods, and I'll be off to try another therapist (easier said than done for most, I know, I was lucky to be born in Canada).

But here's the thing-- he's a VERY good therapist for the religious person in his next session. They find his approach to be empowering, they mesh well in the relationship, they're comfortable with each other and with bringing faith into the sessions. The client finds the methods used to be easy to utilize in their everyday life and simple to understand, and makes overall improvement. And that's what matters.

Now, if he's pushing his religious beliefs onto his clients, now he's a very bad doctor, and should not be licensed, and I will personally find him and drop kick him in the gender neutral tit.

And this can be extended to any doctor that performs any nonconsensual or unethical treatment on his clients. Psychiatric abuse happens far more than it should, and we should all be aware of it, and learn what to do when we see it (this will differ, depending on where you live).

In the case of research by doctors, it's a case by case basis for everything. Van der Hart abused clients, but that doesn't make a good portion of his research and work obsolete or wrong. He worked with two other doctors who weren't accused of anything, and the research is building off of others' work.

There's still viability in that specific research, despite what he did and despite what a shit doctor he was. Both can coexist. Knowing what he did, we need to be very critical when examining ALL his work. Did both Ross and Kluft put both good AND bad research into the field? Yes. Did they also do and say questionable things? A loud, resounding YES. No question. Should everyone be critical of their papers? Absolutely, always.

I have a "begrudging acceptance/hate" relationship with a lot of the big names out there. I'm critical of their actions and their work, but the validity of each and every individual article/book/experiment needs to be examined and compared against other (often questionable) research to decide whether there's any basis of use to it.

Do I think governing bodies need to be more proactive and stricter on those kinds of offences? Hell yeah. Do I want see doctors that do that crap held accountable? Fuck yes. Can I probably find a dozen other papers making the same point and stop using their names? If I can, I certainly will.
