Hi soda , I love your Nacht x reader headcanons. I have a request. How would nacht feel and react if his s/o wakes him up by peppering him with kisses.

Waking Nacht Faust with kisses

To be honest, I headcanon Nacht as sleeping like the dead. Once he's asleep, he's still as a stone and not easy to wake.

Nacht's s/o has asked if it's some kind of effect from his devil contracts and he'd say that it isn't. He's just always been that way.

The only things that can wake him are either just naturally stirring awake, being thrown out of bed, or an incredible loud sound directly to his ears.

So when it comes to morning kisses, Nacht's s/o would have to patiently wait for him to rouse before they started any kind of affection.

(Unless his s/o wants to kiss Nacht for a good fifteen minutes while he's still asleep. But where's the fun in that?/lh)

Once they get the first sign of Nacht waking, usually it's a small groan or his face scrunching up, then it begins.

There's always a "good morning" whispered first so Nacht knows that it's his partner greeting him.

After that greeting comes a little kiss to his temple, followed by a trail of little pecks along his jawline.

His s/o probably has a hand on his chest or caressing the other side of his face. Regardless, Nacht, even in his groggy, just-woken-up state would be able find their hand and hold it with his own.

Nacht would let out a little sound, something between a sigh and a chuckle.

He would just let his s/o continue to kiss him. He's learned that rejecting affection doesn't do anyone good. It hurts his lover's feelings and makes him feel lonely.

Although, maybe if Nacht woke up feeling like a tease, he'd intentionally turn away from his s/o and make them "chase" him a little to give more kisses. Playing hard to get once in a while keeps things from getting boring in the relationship.

A smooch on the cheek. Feather-light kisses on his forehead. Maybe a little peck on the tip of his nose if his s/o is feeling especially playful.

His s/o would be ready to kiss Nacht on the lips, only for him to put his hand between their faces.

Nacht, fully awake at that point (probably was fully awake earlier but only showing it now), would look at his s/o with a slight chiding expression.

"How very sweet of you. But the taste of morning breath certainly wouldn't be," he would remark.

"Mine or yours?" his partner would ask in reply. It's only a joke, both know that.

Once the couple have done their morning routine, only then would Nacht kiss his partner on the lips.

"With that, I'm truly ready for the day," Nacht would say with a smile, the kind of smile he reserves for his s/o alone.

Even when he's not woken with kisses, Nacht wants his partner to know that he loves being able to wake up with their presence next to him.

The occasional kissing wake up call just makes morning a little sweeter.

And, because Nacht wants the good to be rewarded, he'll find a way to turn the tables and be the one giving the wake up kisses sometime in the future.

It makes me so disappointed and frankly really fucking angry to see writers and artists that put their heart and soul into writing and art and then offer them to people to enjoy FOR FREE be harassed and honestly cyberbullied by random assholes with way too much time on their hands.

It makes me sad for them in a way that they are clearly so unhappy with their own lives that they feel the need to displace that hate and resentment onto wonderful amazing people who absolutely do not deserve it.

And the whole name dropping thing? I wonder if these hate anons really don't realize that others won't put up with their petulant, childish, attention seeking bullshit and idk....defend the people that they care about and are friends with?

I'll admit, I've really only been putting my own content out for about three weeks, and even I have been bracing myself for the inevitable anonymous dickhead dropping their uncalled for and unnecessary bullshit in my askbox about my music and now about my writing. And that shouldn't have to be a thing.

No creator on here should have to feel stressed to post something because they're afraid of backlash from morons with small brains and nothing better to do.

I try really hard to spread positivity here, and I want to make it clear that my blog and my inbox is a safe space for anyone to vent or talk about whatever they like. But I will absolutely not tolerate any unkindess, any bullying, any mean and resentful bullshit. Towards me or any of the creators in this space.

but once u actually took what felt like hours to process that u might actually be in fucking Genshin Impact-

Nahida came running from, somewhere?? Its kinda just very floaty dreamy in here so, unclear, she’s beaming with a giddy little smile (💘)

It’s… so much more than what her game model could manage.

I mean, you knew that, of course you did, but- to see the tiny goddess smiling in person, her cute chubby arms waving in the air, her cheeks all plump with baby fat from her excited smile, pretty green eyes that sparkle only in the way excited toddlers do-

It was just…wow. 🥺

You can’t help it, her sheer carefree excitement, exactly like a child but you know that she must be really overwhelmed with joy if shes letting herself act like that so blatantly, you feel ur muscles tug gently into a smile, you try to muffle it but ur happiness leaks out anyway

She's panting as she stumbles on short chubby legs to reach you.

After just staring at you with those big green clover eyes for a few seconds, she physically shakes her head to knock herself out of it,

Nahida places her hand over her heart, and bows elegantly, going back to looking at you with a small but bright smile, her voice is kind of quiet, muffled in a soft way, much like her game depiction,

“Hzozn! R'ev yvvm dzrgrmt gl nvvg blf! R wrwm'g gsrmp blf dlfow wvhxvmw fmgro R dzh zg ovzhg z uvd gslfhzmw bvzih low!” *

…Nahida begins to look a little concerned… her eyes get impossibly bigger.

Nahida had apparently quickly spread the news that you can’t understand them, but luckily it seems like all the characters still know you!

Alhaitham is pretty much a constant by your side, you knew he was vaguely studying linguistics in the akademiya… but that knowledge still didn’t prepare you to be intensely stared at with his diamond pupils for hours. 💀

Then he’d tap your shoulder or something, and you quickly picked up that he wanted you to just try and say something.

Then he would scribble for hours.

Turns out they can understand you about as much as you understand Teyvat language (s? You can’t even tell if there are multiple languages, that’s how unrecognizable this language is, damn)

The more extroverted or friendly people, like Venti, Yoimiya, Kazuha, Jean, Noelle, Amber, Xingqiu, Hu Tao, Zhongli, Ganyu, Barbara, Beidou, Collei, Ayaka, Gorou, Nilou

At least attempt to talk to you, and try very hard to watch what you gesture with your hands or body language

They're pretty much ready to play charades at all times for you lol

Interestingly enough, they only ever understood you when you typed in the chat (with other ppl)

But even then not immediately, 

Sumeru scholars basically had to make a whole new department (regardless of how much you play with others) to decipher your ancient language (to them) like those old clay tablets with cuneiform we’re still translating?

Like that, your words appear in elemental magic heavy places (so like that abyss lang. It’ll appear on walls or structures, so like Andrius’ stone colosseum? in Wolvendom gained some of your chat replies inscribed and glowing a rainbow of colors on the top edges of the walls)

Much like the abyss language you see throughout genshin, most Teyvat scholars (across nations/internationally) agreed your language is the oldest form of language known!

It’s like modern languages having roots in older ones, like English with Latin, greek, or German roots, or Sanskrit and the Prakrit for Hindi language today

…so of course no one really speaks the root languages anymore, because they’re so old, so those ancestors who spoke those languages would have little to no understanding of their modern counterparts…

Occasionally if you turned your mic on for whatever reason there would be a gentle whisper on the winds in Mondstadt of your voice,

or your laugh in the waves washing ashore in Inazuma and Fontaine,

your startled noises or screams from battling bosses mixed with the landslides in the mountains of Liyue

So they know what you sound like, but that doesn’t mean they understood your language :/

Nahida had been hoping that you’re actual physical form being here would help improve the language barrier

But unfortunately, those things remained the same, but at least you were physically here to talk to now and give more content for the scholars to study rather than them having to make do with your snippets of language from chats

…so needless to say, it took you a long time to realize they viewed you as a god of sorts.

You kind of knew something was up when at least two allogenes were by your sides at all times, or eremites would replace them if they really couldn’t stick around

You figured they knew you weren’t nearly as combatant-ready as they were at all times, hell you obviously didn’t have a vision hanging off you somewhere, and you only really had a knife strapped to a belt, courtesy of the Thirty Corps

You are still kind of convinced that the people of Teyvat, or Sumeru at least, are just pretty polite (and in the allogenes case, very kind or friendly, even people like Alhaitham or Cyno, resting bitch faces they have, seem to soften a little when they’re walking around with you… maybe you’re just imagining it…)

And as much as you would love to wait until they understand you to do something more fun, as you can see the frustration on Tighnari’s face (and his ears try to flatten back hehe) as he looked like he was debating heatedly with some of the Sumeru sages who insist you stay in the city

…so why not go?

It’s not like they’re going to get it anytime soon, and it’s still too frustrating for yourself to charade things or draw things for them because you can’t even hear their guesses 💀

You can totally handle being like the traveler too, 

You still have access to your inventory afterall! Plus, lucky for you, you still find a pass for the Serenitea Pot in your little pocket dimension!

So now you have somewhere to sleep at night, and while most of your stuff went to the traveler’s pack, the things like Primogems

(which.. Okay now you really want primogems bc theyre so pretty and shiny irl)✨️

And other high-level things, or just objects of no use for the traveler (so basically all your hoarded level up stuff and infinite amount of weapons lol) came along with you

So you did have to wander the first week or so around the city and even commission the Adventurer’s Guild to grab you food supplies to cook with

Filling up, along with a few big waterskins, you’re off!

...and everyone collectively has a heart attack!

When you show up in Ghandaraville essentially all “✨️💖☺️✨️” on Tighnari’s doorstep-

He chokes on the tea he’d been sipping on before he opened the door lol

He looks a little frazzled so you try to just gesture with “calm yourself small animal” energy with your hands

“Tivzgvhg Oliw! R'n- R- sld wrw blf-?! Mvevinrmw, xlnv rm, xlnv rm, ivhg! ...R mvvw gl hvmw z nroorlm ovggvih mld gl ylgs gsv vmgriv xrgb lu Hfnvif, gsv Zxgrmt Tizmw Hztv, zmw gsv Nzgiz nlhg orpvob…” he began out looking at you and talking and gesturing to his small dining table (the game sucks, his house looks great and has lots of cool rooms filled with interesting plants… oooo…so pretty...) 

But then he kinda just devolved into rambling, no need to understand, you can read the vibes and just know that's what he's doing lol

Collei eventually ducks in, and she looks a little panicked?

She’s quickly followed by Cyno, pushing past her to call out into the house,

His voice seems hard and stressed, looking at Tighnari, “Grtsmzir, szev blf hvvm gsv Tivzgvhg Oliw zmbdsviv, gsvb dviv hvvm xlnrmt gl Tszmwziezeroov ozhg-” 

Cyno stops and blinks.

Collei’s mouth is slightly dropped open, she also just, blinks.

You blink. 

Tighnari blinks tiredly, he looks like he’d rather be done for the day, you think.

The doctor sighs, and moves his head to nod towards the other dining seats.

Sumeru foods are so much better looking in real life, and they’re so good too, your practically bloated by the end of dinner, 

As a thank you, bc u cant say it obv, you just gesture for Tighnari to stay sitting, and he gives you a raised eyebrow and a suspicious ear twitch

But stays still, and you reach out to finally hit the eight-pointed star hovering over his, and all playable characters chests at all times.

Like you suspected, it brings up a holographic character menu, but rather than his full model, it kind of hovers in front of Tighnari’s face, replacing his old 3D model self with framing the real thing for a portrait just in front of his face

The poor Denro user nearly jumps a foot out of his chair as he looks in shock at your screen, you do the same “chillll boy” gesture with your hands and press his shoulders for a second to remind him to not run off or panic

Cyno and Collei had done the dishes and put up leftovers, and are now standing behind Tighnari, watching with equally wide eyes,

“...Dszg ziv gsvb wlrmt gl blf?

Cyno’s voice is even deeper and quieter than usual, you feel goosebumps run up your spine

“Ziv blf tvggrmt yovhhvw, Nzhgvi Grtsmzir?!” Collei’s sweet voice is also hushed like she’s witnessing something sacred, Tighnari gently shakes his head negatively in response, his shoulders shrugging,

“Nzbyv? R uvvo... z orggov hgilmtvi, zmw nb Erhrlm rh zxgrmt fk zh dvoo…”

Though he’s replying, Tighnari’s eyes haven’t once left your ancient magic? technology device? hovering in front of him,

and as he crosses his arms and squints to try and look closer at everything floating in front of him, you can see the childlike gleam of awe in his green eyes, (so cute) in fact, now that you glance up and look, both Collei and Cyno have the same quietly excited and fascinated sparkle in their eyes too

With a displeased sneer, you chuck his old level one bow into the material grinding spots, hope he wasn’t attached to that…

Oh well, he’ll like the new one better, afterall, with no characters, all your best weapons and artifacts are ready to use!

With a small smile of reassurance, you finally finish gearing Tighnari up, tap a miniature version of that 8-point star in the corner like an “X” button, and it retreats like a classic TV set📺 turning off into his chest, he startles but then carefully stands

You decide to just start making decisions bc its worked out so far ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And grab his hand and haul him out into the forest, Collei letting out a surprised squeak, her and Cyno hurrying after

You reach the nearest clearing, and gesture at Tighnari like a bow and arrow firing, he gets it, and your glad he already trusts you, because he doesn’t take long to summon his bow

He takes aim at a smaller tree about two cars length away

You can feel them all holding their breathe, as Tighnari charges it with Dendro, the arrowhead glowing, (it looks so cool and badass irl god you feel envious even tho ur already here-)

The ranger lets it fly, it streaks neon green, whistling through the air, it hits the tree-

and it fucking explodes.

Vines and leaves and the trees roots all rapidly swell like theyre filled with water, like it literally got hit by a superhero with plant powers, which, not that far off actually.

The green floating Dendro seeds make a ring around the tree its so full of elemental energy-

You give a wild grin, you still got it, hell yeah. >:)

Your grin widens as you look over at Tighnari, Collei, and Cyno

Cyno has a smirk lighting up his face, eyes eager, Collei’s jaw has dropped and she’s just frozen staring as the tree finally settles from the burst of the dendro powered arrow

…Tighnari has lowered his bow, and his mouth is only slightly open, his ears perked straight up into the air, shaking with excitement? Happiness? Interest? You don’t know how peopl-animal-hybrid ears work,

and you STILL cant talk to any of them to ask what they thought, so looks will have to do >:/

Tighnari is the first to move, his head snapping over to look at you, the brightest, kinda feral tbh, smile taking over his face-

“Blf pmld, dv xzm'g fmwvihgzmw blf, zmw blf fh, bvg R xzm'g dzrg gl hvv dszg rm gsv dliow blf'iv tlrmt gl wl mvcg. Blf'iv znzarmt."

Alhaitham was literally running around Sumeru City trying to find you when you left, tho you did try and leave a translatable-in-3-to-5-business days-note, he didn’t have time to translate that because you were gone.

Or worse, lost in the city, and he would never forgive himself if he lost you, esp as Acting Grand Sage-

Kaveh got a letter a day and a half later from Tighnari letting them know you were having a sleepover in Ghandarvaville lol

Kaveh also had to hunt down Alhaitham to give him said news, then force his roommate to go sit or lay down for the rest of the day to recover lmao

(Haitham honestly kinda freaked Kaveh out bc he’s never seen him that... desperate, it was like seeing a statue emote lol)

MANY artists take requests randomly. this isn't the original anon, I just saw your post&was blown away by how rude it was. this anon wasn't even rude. artists are always putting out informationals with like guides on how to speak to them&it's the so egotistical&rude&controlling. Mate, I said "no hard feelings just letting you know this ask came across as rude" after we had a bit of a giggle about how funny it is that they hadn't stumbled upon the specific kind of fanart they wanted to see when IMO it's extremely common in the fandom, and then pointed them to another artist who had already drawn what they wanted to see.

"Don't ask/hint at artists to draw you things for free" is not being rude or demanding or egotistical, it's just a firm boundary. It's not a minefield to navigate, and artists who accept random requests usually say so somewhere in their bio/about. I also think blocking the poor anon would've been way more harsh and unnecessary than letting them know how their behaviour was perceived, cuz if they keep doing it, some other artist is going to be way meaner about it.

"Tongues and Teeth", "Curses" and "take me to war" is a heavy cfau danny song to me, and of course, "the moon will sing")

Like they're BEST friends dude, they're two sides of the same coin and when they were kids they would do this thing where their 'fingers crossed'/'double-crossed' was them hooking their index fingers in the fingers crossed gesture.

and i'm actually currently rewriting my original post into a more fic-like format, and when I'm done I'll post it on here under the cfau tag - with the original post still in tact. But its,,, gonna be so long dude,,,, the original behemoth was just over 9000 words,,, and I've written 3k words already of the new one and we haven't even reached Jason and Danny reuniting at the gala yet,,, i need to get back to that,,,

and then to answer your questions!! god im almost hesitant to answer because i dont wanna spoil the little fic i had planned for it but also like,, its not like im gonna spoil everything, right? and answering the questions isnt the same as writing the scene down so!!

i love danny and jason's reuniting, like i've thought about it SO much and I've thought about it happening after Danny kills the Joker. I know the reveal could have been before that, and it could have been equally just as dramatic but like??? Thematically, doing it after danny kills the joker is SO good. To me at least.

Because like?? Jason's been in somewhat denial about danny's plan to kill the joker for months. ever since danny told him that he wanted to at the gala. And from Jason's pov its not even technically a plan. He sees his best friend for the first time after five years and his best friend still isn't over his death. He hasn't stepped foot in Gotham since his funeral and now suddenly he's here.

And he's still so full of grief over his death that he tells a masked vigilante that he's going to kill the guy that did it, who lives in said masked vigilante's city. And danny's got that look in his eyes that Jason knows so well that means he's being serious. And yet he still doesn't know if he should believe him or not.

And then he does. Danny kills him. And Jason can't fucking believe it. And when he goes and sees Danny, Danny's hands are still covered in blood. And that reunion? God like a fucking firework show. Danny's so fucking angry, and pissed, and hurt, and so goddamn overjoyed that he's alive and here that he sends them both to the ground, and if he doesn't calm down he's gonna take out the power in a five block radius.

there's just so, so much yelling on Danny's end. And then so much crying, first from Danny and then them both. because god, you're alive. you're here. i've missed you so much. i'm never letting you out of my sights again.

and Joker's death! God I don't want to actually say too much about that, but the way I have it set up thematically makes me actually not want danny to take any part of the joker with him as an offering. and he may actually forego that particular ghost etiquette and offer something else as an offering to Jason in substitute to not bringing him the Joker's heart/head/ritualistic body part.

Because you know what the last thing a man whose been spending the last two decades of his life building himself up to be larger than life would want? A death that's unremarkable. :) and that's all i'll put on the matter for now.

and the batfam!! they technically already know that jason hasn't told danny he was resurrected, and plenty of them have mixed feelings on them. largely bruce and dick i think, considering they saw firsthand how close jason and danny were when they were kids.

Dick was honestly surprised at first when he found out that Jason hadn't told Danny he was alive - and on one hand he understands the reasoning for it, and on the other hand he isn't sure if it was such a good idea. Especially after he sees Danny again after he arrives back in Gotham and sees just how badly Jason's death was still affecting him. But it's not like he's going to try and convince Jason to tell him - he can make his own choices, even if Dick has questions about them.

Bruce has much the same thoughts as Dick, so there's not really much to add here other than he might bring it up once or twice to Jason like, vaguely. And then immediately drops it when Jason shuts him down. He might actually somewhat...?? prefer that Jason hasn't told Danny because that raises a lot of questions and could jeopardize their identities. However, again, Jason can make his own choices and there's not much Bruce can do about it other than disapprove from afar.

Tim who knew of Danny from stalking the Wayne family shares similars sentiments of being surprised that Jason didn't tell Danny, but again, yeah, understands the thought process to some extent. Doesn't bring it up ever.

Everyone else who hadn't seen firsthand how close Danny and Jason are don't really have much opinion on it -- Jason didn't tell his best friend he was alive, great, he also didn't tell them either so it's not like its that much of a surprise. It would've been more of a surprise to them if Jason had told Danny before he told Bruce and co. Damian may make a comment or two about Jason not telling Danny, but its not about how he can't believe he didn't tell him or anything like it.

can i still identify as aroace/aromantic?

i'm asexual and demiromantic, and feel pretty comfortable with aroace (to avoid long descriptions or explanations, also to have one word for my identity) and im pretty comfortable with aromantic (can be shortened to aro! also due to demiro communities harder to come by, it's easier to go with an aro label)

i still use ace/demiro as my main labels, but im just wondering if its offensive or not allowed in any way

you are absolutely allowed to use aroace/ aromantic as a label!

i don’t usually like to tell people what they can or can’t identify as, since i’m not any sort of authority on that, but i will say: using broader labels to help explain your identity is perfectly fine!

i saw a good post about it recently, and though i can’t find it, it said something to the effect of “it’s like telling people you live in a big city, even though you’re from a small town, because most people won’t have heard of that small town, but they will know the city” labels are just tools to help people explain how they feel (or don’t feel) they aren’t boxes with rigid edges you have to fit neatly in! use whatever helps you!

Hello! welcome back! This is a lovely request especially after yesterday's... here's some fluff to say a bit of a sorry for that! with love

Uncles (1/1) (jegulus | rosekiller)

Harry was standing on the step James built so he could look out the front window. As soon as he could stand he would pull himself up on the couch to do so, loving watching the neighbourhood pass by him. When Regulus was afraid he would fall, James made him a little step latter that had a clipbar on the back so he wouldn't fall down, but he was quite the strong little boy and usually never had a problem.

Regulus and James were sitting nearby sprawled between the toys and books that littered the floor, a mix of Harry' things and his parents' work. The sitting room was where they spent most of their time, so usually by mid week it was covered in various dolls, cars, blocks and half made photo binders, business account briefs, game schedules, and lists of new clients. No matter the mess it always always felt like home.

Harry had been clapping and calling out things he was seeing out the window. James and Regulus took turns praising his words and recognition skills. Until Harry squealed and pointed out the window, "Crouch! Crouch!" He bounced up and down and a big smile on his face.

Regulus and James looked a bit confused, Harry wasn't looking into the living room, so why was he calling out couch?

"Haha no sweetie the couch is in here," James said. "It would be silly if a couch was outside," he added.

Harry looked at him and briefly pouted. He looked at Regulus, "papa," and pointed at the window but continued to look at Regulus, "Crouch!"

Regulus got up, maybe there was a couch outside. He knew the neighbourhood pretty well and didn't think anyone was moving, but maybe redecorating? But as Regulus approached to stand by Harry, a smile formed on his lips. "Oh yes, that's right mon petit, Crouch," Regulus said and leaned down to kiss Harry's head.

James understood now that neither of his loves were saying couch, and that only meant one thing.

On cue came the knock on the door and the non-waiting for the answer for it to open, and suddenly Barty Crouch Jr and Evan Rosier were walking in.

"Where's my little guy!" Barty called out as he leant over and Harry ran into his arms.

He put both his little hands on Barty's face and with a small pat said, "Dada silly Crouch!" Very pleased with himself. James wasn't that pleased with the new company but he was very proud of his son.

Thankfully he was able to praise Harry with his words, "that's right Harry, silly crouch," James said.

Barty gave him a quick sneer but quickly went back to playing with Harry, making him giggle with glee.

"I didn't know you two were coming," Regulus said as Evan joined them back on the floor.

"Oh we weren't really planning on it. We were out and then remember that James' next 3 games are away so we figured we'd stop by before you all head off for a while," Evan explained just as Harry came over to tackle him with a hug repeating "uncle uncle uncle!"

"Well clearly Harry is happy to see you," James said.

"Stay for dinner won't you?" Regulus asked looking between Barty and Evan who were happy to oblige.

Not sure if you take these kinds of requests, but I figured I'd give it a shot because I like your blog and love Nacht and it's hard to find good content for him.

But what are your headcanons on how Nacht would be if he ended up liking someone in the Black Bulls, they are sweet, confident, intelligent, a light user (just for the irony). But he learned that Nozel Silva has his eyes set on them as well?

I know it's a weird ask. I'm sorry. I just have a hard time writing him.

Now, onto the headcanons.

Nacht vs. Nozel for a Crush's Affections

To start, Nacht never thought he'd fall in love. Not with how heavily his heart is burdened.

But then the Black Bulls gained a new member: you, a Light Magic user with a bright smile. And it makes Nacht's heart hurt at first.

Nacht does his best not to seem like he'd avoiding you (when he is because he's still working through his issues). But eventually, you approach him.

"I was wondering why you never talked to me so I asked the captain and... I heard about your brother," you'd say with a faint, sympathetic smile. "Just remember that I'm not your brother. But still, take all the time you need to get used to me. When you're ready, let's try to be friends."

The immediate understanding. The unspoken forgiveness. The gentle offer. It's what gets Nacht to finally approach you himself.

As you and Nacht grow closer, he grows to cherish your kind smile. You impress him with your keen mind, using knowledge recalled from books to solve dungeon puzzles or strategizing for battles. And your confidence makes all your other traits shine brighter, taking his breath away.

Nacht even opens up to you about Morgen. He doesn't get into deep detail, but you learn the general flow of events involving Nacht taking up Forbidden Magic and Morgen's eventual death.

While Nacht sheds tears, once again mourning his brother, you take him in your arms and softly tell him that you know the man Nacht is now, so regardless of his past, you'll stick by his side.

After Nacht's cried himself dry, he finds you again to make you swear to secrecy and you blink and go "Wait, did I see anything that should be a secret?" You wink to him to let him know you know what he's talking about and that his secret is safe with you.

He loves your intuition and how much he can trust with you.

Eventually, while watching you happily chat up Knights from other squads at a Magic Knights function, Nacht realizes he's in love with you.

Nacht decides he's going to confess you. He's spent too much of his life avoiding his feelings for the people he cares for. So he won't waste time with you.

That's when Nozel approaches you. He bows like a gentleman and even greets you with a kiss on the hand.

Seeing that makes Nacht's world come to a screeching halt.

He watches you and Nozel chat. Nozel seems to come to life around you and you're grinning back at the Silver Eagle captain. You both were enjoying each other's company.

Nacht tries to keep his anxiety down, rationalizing to himself that you and Nozel are just friends. That the kiss on the hand was just part of formalities. He didn't want to accept the possibility that...

Nacht ends up leaving the function early because he needs to be on his own to calm down.

The way Nacht sees it, Nozel has so much more to offer you than he did. While Nozel still isn't the best person, at least Nozel didn't cause Noelle's death. And where Nacht is a disgraced noble and was a non-presence for the Bulls for seven years, Nozel is a royal and the hard-working captain of his squad.

For the next few days, the vice captain of the Black Bulls is moping around, listless and lost in thought. He can't compete with Nozel. The most he can do is wish you the best with the prince.

You end up finding Nacht and sit down with him. You don't ask what's got him so upset. Just sit and talk and let Nacht know that you want to see him relax. That you look forward to smiling and laughing with him again.

And that resonates with Nacht. He's reminded of how much you mean to him. He remembers his desire to grow from the gloomy man he was before. And he resolves not to give up on winning your heart, not yet.

"Thank you, my friend," he whispers to you and you say "you're welcome! I knew you just needed a pep talk!"

Some time later, Nozel turns up at the Black Bull base, looking for you.

Nacht approaches Nozel and asks what exactly the Silver Eagle's relationship with you is. Nozel's answer, "We're friends at the moment, but I'm working up to courting them."

Nacht takes a deep breath, looks Nozel directly in the eyes, and answers, "Then let the best man win."

From that day onward, Nacht puts his all into winning your heart the way you've completely won his. If he's to be perfectly honest, he feels like he was at a disadvantage. But he's still trying for you.

Nacht takes full advantage of the fact that you and him are part of the same squad. He offers to work with you on various missions. He sits next to you during breakfast. He definitely shows his bias towards you over the other Bulls. He'll remember all your favorite things and give you appropriate gifts whenever he gets the chance.

Whenever you ask about him and his own life, he lets down his walls and tells you whatever you want to know. Nacht wants you to see all his sides because he wants you to love all of him.

Despite worrying about losing to Nozel, Nacht doesn't get in the way if you ever want to spend time with the Silver Eagle captain. He knows you wouldn't appreciate him being clingy/jealous.

You would for sure take notice on Nacht's increased attention towards you. Nacht isn't good at hiding his favoritism.

If you ask what's gotten into Nacht, he'll half tell the truth-half lie. "I want you to know how much I care about you." He's not about to unveil the him vs. Nozel drama! 😬

Nacht and Nozel definitely have an RBF around each other, might even become a glaring contest if they're in the same room.

It's a tense but respectful rivalry. They both acknowledge each other as a formidable rival for your heart.

Each time you throw yourself into a hug with Nacht and exclaim "This is why you're my favorite person," Nacht feels his heart race more and more. And he feels like you might just love him back.

There's still a fear in Nacht's heart. A worry that you'll end up choosing Nozel over him. That all his love will go to waste.
