I had a draft of about 5 of these results ready to go pre-face reveal but then everything went to shit so just for some closure here are the results (FROM SEPTEMBER!) ^_^

This chart shows the percentage of total respondents who indicated that they mained the people above. This isn't a comprehensive list, with other streamers like SBI, Benchtrio, or other DSMP-adjacent streamers rounding the answers out!

of the 598 people who filled out the survey, 98.5% main one of the people in the above chart, and 92.8% main one or more of the Dream Team.

From this question, it seems like DSMP creators are the main pipeline into dtblr—but a good 40% of us didn't start on the Dream Team side!

We have a good amount of people who came from the Corpse/OTV side of Twitch, and a decent amount of you who have been here a while, since SMPLive :]

A lot of us have been here a long time—66% of us were here before 2021. The vast majority have been here since 2021, a good 93% of us!

I thought it'd be super interesting to see how watching the Dream Team may have changed how we interact with their primary game, and it looks like a majority of us were crafters before and still are! They managed to get nearly a fifth of his audience here into playing as well!

A toast to the loss of most of dtblr's favorite MCC player to watch, something that we definitely mourned when we heard the news. But if you're looking for a new POV to watch, survey respondents put down a wide range of players—just outside these top 8 were Ranboo, Tubbo, Grian, Illumina, Purpled, and Hannah!

Another loss for 6% of dtblr with how this question aged, RIP Trust Issues :( But for the remaining 94% of us, our favorite Drusic is still on streaming platforms. Change my Clothes is only...500k listens away from 67 million listens on Spotify so 👀

Wow ok as this goes on I realize just how many chapters have ended over the last few months but a salute to the 26% of loreheads on dtblr! On to the next chapter :]

Now to a touchy subject...who's in the dteam privs? According to the survey responses, 39% of dtblr is in all three! Interestingly, there are more people who follow Dream's alt than his main. Fair enough, there are enough piss tweets on there to warrant unfollowing it!

Word of mouth and the YouTube algorithm seems to have been the best way for the dteam to get to us—interestingly enough, a good amount of people found out through either Heat Waves the song or through the fanfiction, ranging from it crashing ao3 to commentary YouTubers talking about it on their channels!

Now for some psychic damage, I'm seeing a lot more of RTAH posting on my dash nowadays but here's some solidarity for everyone who may have come from similar backgrounds ^_^

Now for some more history—a vast majority of us came from gaming content backgrounds, and nearly 17% of us were primarily mcyt enjoyers. Personal shoutout to Team Crafted viewers we're holding hands <3

Nearly half of dtblr doesn't consume much Minecraft content outside of the stuff our boys are in, though there's still a pretty large amount of people who watch other SMP's and keep up with the speedrunning scene!

This one is an ode to the lurkers who keep the economy strong—even now you guys are an essential part of dtblr! Same to the 30-40% of people who post the stuff for lurkers and other dtblr members to see. Everyone is important to keeping our little island afloat <3

Now onto Banter, most of dtblr doesn't make time for Banter Wednesdays, but if there's an interesting episode, it seems like the trio will capture our attention :]

Adding some literal variety to our results, I thought it'd be interesting to see what common variety games are our favorites! 95% of us would be tapped in wholeheartedly for Geoguessr or Jackbox streams. On the other hand, Fall Guys and Fortnite are in the middle of the pack, whereas it seems like FPS games are our mortal enemies—62% of us would tap out during Valorant while 46% wouldn't be paying attention to CS:GO.

Onto the topic of shipping, DNF steamrolled every other ship listed to have nearly 86% of responders saying they ship it. That lines up with the follow-up question, where nearly 90% of respondents either have experience with shipping RPF in the past, or have been caught up with DNFer supreme Dream's antics. Otherwise, there was a good distribution of love for most popular ships within DTQK+, with Karlnap, DNN, and Karlnapity leading the pack at around 25% each!

Ever wonder how dtblr is spread out across the globe because of the dash being dead at different times? Well, the vast majority of us are in North America and Europe, with 86% of us being between GMT +4 and GMT -4. Much like our streamers, though, a lot of us have fucked up sleep schedules so time zones aren't as much of an issue LMAO

Next up is a fairly simple one, I had another question that asked for gender but there was, as expected, a lot of variance and nuance that I couldn't fit into a neat graphic. But this one is a fairly simple one to graph so Well here's the 24/7 pride parade Dream mentioned coming in hot, with about 95% of us identifying as LGBT+ or questioning!

I wanted to test out my theory that GNF mains are also biased towards CS/Engineering fields, so I asked what people were studying! There's a pretty big bias towards the arts and humanities around here, but we also have just as many STEM people around, good on dtblr for academic diversity! As for my hypothesis, 22% of people who indicated they were George mains studied some form of CS/Engineering. George mains also made up 70% of all people who studied CS/Engineering. So cheers to my stem kid gnfers o/

Finally, I don't really know the best way to make a graphic for the favorite colors question, but just know that 50% of us chose either green or blue, and it was a near-even 25%-25% split. Great job dnfers, Dream would be proud <3

Feb: Valentine's day week

March: England, on separate streams they both said they decided to go at the last minute, they were spotted alone together in a video with a fan

April: LA

May: LA again with foolish after his nc/florida roadtrip

June: New York where they were spotted by a fan alone shopping (there's a clip of it somewhere on twitter), Tinacon, karl was also in LA prior to Tinacon but no idea how many times they met up during that time

July: Tinacon continued, LoL tournament in Las Vegas, on a foolish fall guys stream tina talked about going to nc for karl's bday but for some reason this didn't happen

August: Tina went to NC

Sept: Tina went to New York followed by Karl a few days later, people say he was busy working but one of the otv vlogs showed he was with their group, LA again for Name Your Price, Karl was in LA a while before leaving to England

Oct: after getting back from England late sept karl went straight back to LA and didn't leave until mid Oct, early oct he announced getting a place in la within days of tina announcing moving there at the end of sept.

Dec: the controversial one that is NOT PROVEN, but it is believed by some that she flew to portland to spend time with karl and his family between dec 14-17th (that's the week they celebrated christmas), those who believe this theory point to several things such as tina saying she was going to be unavailable, then several hours later someone on twitter saying they spotted her at lax on the 14th, her being absent from all social media and even discord during that time, as well as karl streaming from her room on the 17th saying he just got off a plane an hour ago suggesting they flew back together and then went straight to her place. also they spent the 17-23/24th together. again the portland meetup is a theory, nobody actually knows where she was during that time.

2023

Feb: Valentines week NC, tina stayed at karls house

March: around 9/10 karl went to la and didn't leave for 2 weeks

April: early april karl went to la again stayed a few days, then flew back with tina to nc she again stayed at his house, then in late april tina flew to japan to see him

May: karl and tina stay almost the entire first week of may in japan

June: 6/7 karl flies to la to watch spiderman with her and leaves after only being there two days, we know this because they told the same story about the movie experience they had watching it, neither knew the other told the story and neither mentioned the other was there. then they met up sometime around the 18th of june again and hung out til the end of vidcon where he briefly left to go with mr beast before coming back on the 28th and staying through july 6/7

July: stayed until the last possible moment before leaving to pack for paris, tina then flies on the 18th to nc to spend time with him on his bday, again staying at his house

August: 7-12th from what I've seen others mention

those are the ones I'm aware of between 2022 and now... with maybe one or two missing in september of 2022 and possibly others missing as well. I'm sure someone else with more knowledge can fill you on on 2021

I think when you sent this I was more divided, but it's pretty fixedly the OT3 at this point with some room for OTV considerations. So many things have not stopped from keep happening since then. The gilvek hug page. The boys lining up so Agatha could kiss them one at a time before they all split up. The "on our honeymoon" conversation. I'm just.

Eight times.... They're the first thing in it and I used the phrase "overprotective homicidal duckling". I just! Enjoy them!! They're mutual stand-ins for each others absent siblings even though only one of them knows they have a sibling (and also the two older sisters are each others' origin stories unbeknownst to absolutely everyone)! They both think the other person is a huge freak they begrudgingly work with while they're normal! They both brutally slaughter people while being massively judgemental about how the other person does it! They've both demonstrated they'd betray the general ideals that guide how they live for each other! They have matching weird names and stupid nicknames!

7. Favorite story arc?

Time marches on but it remains Mechanicsburg. All of my favorite sequences and character moments are in there AND it's a good art era. If I have to break it down into entering Mechanicsburg/Castle Heterodyne/attack on the town I will begrudgingly pick CH because it's so iconic even though the arc opening has the best Gil scenes and the coffee shop. It does not have Tarvek, however, so.

Saw that you asked for a timeline a couple weeks ago ab her ex! I was around since the start of Tina officially streaming (among us era being 3 yrs ago wtf…) but I remember the timeline of Tina and her ex relationship, when she met everyone, kina timeline, etc.

December 2020:

- Tina and Karl first meet in one of the otv among us lobbies, they were very silly funny and got along quickly

- That same day they followed each other on socials, and subbed to each other on twitch; karl tweeted to her that they should play more games (bonded over shared interests)

USAF Department program launch of the seventh mission of the X-37B spacecraft

The U.S. Air Force Office of Rapid Capabilities Department, in partnership with the United States Space Force, is scheduled to launch the seventh mission of the X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle on December 7, 2023 from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida.

Mission 7 of the X-37B will be launched for the first time on a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket, designated USSF-52, with a wide range of test and experimentation objectives. These tests include the operation of the reusable space plane in new orbital regimes, the experimentation of future space domain recognition technologies and the investigation of the effects of radiation on materials provided by NASA.

"We are excited to expand the range of the X-37B's reusable capabilities, using the flight-proven service module and the Falcon Heavy rocket to perform several cutting-edge experiments for the Air Force Department and its partners," said Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Fritschen, Director of the X-37B Program.

The X-37B Mission 7, also known as OTV-7, will expand the United States Space Force's knowledge of the space environment, experimenting with future space domain recognition technologies. These tests are essential to ensure safe, stable and secure operations in space for all domain users.

Head of Space Operations, General B. Chance Saltzman hailed these experiments as "innovators," saying: "The X-37B continues to equip the United States with the knowledge to improve current and future space operations. Mission 7 of the X-37B demonstrates the commitment of the USSF to innovation and the definition of the art of the possible in the space domain."

The NASA experiment on board will expose plant seeds to the hostile radiation environment of long-term spaceflight. Known as "Seeds-2", the experiment will be based on the success of previous experiments, paving the way for future manned space missions.

Previously, Mission 6 of the X-37B was the first mission to introduce a service module that expanded the capabilities of the spacecraft and allowed it to host more experiments than any of the previous missions. The spacecraft carried the experiment of the Photovoltaic Radio Frequency Antenna Module of the Naval Research Laboratory, which transformed solar energy into radio frequency microwave energy, and two NASA experiments to study the results of radiation and other spatial effects on a sample plate of materials and seeds used to grow food. Mission 6 of the X-37B also deployed the FalconSat-8, a small satellite developed by the U.S. Air Force Academy and sponsored by the Air Force Research Laboratory.

The Director of DAF RCO, William D. Bailey praised the collaborative partnership with the industry, noting: “The X-37B government and Boeing teams worked together to produce a more agile, flexible and adaptive experimentation platform. The work they have done to streamline processes and adapt evolving technologies will help our nation learn a lot about how to operate and return from a space environment."

ABC NEWS ANNOUNCES JACLYN LEE AND MELISSA ADAN AS MULTI-PLATFORM REPORTERS 

Wendy Fisher, ABC News senior vice president of Newsgathering, sent the following note to the news division announcing that Jaclyn Lee and Melissa Adan are joining ABC News as multi-platform reporters.

I am excited to share that two new multi-platform reporters are joining our team this week. Jaclyn Lee begins today in New York, and Melissa Adan starts later this week and will be based in Los Angeles.   

Jaclyn Lee joins us from our very own WPVI-TV in Philadelphia, where she served as an anchor/reporter since 2020. During her tenure, she spent time in the field, reporting on COVID-19, civil unrest, the 2020 presidential election and the unprecedented 2021 winter storm in Houston. Additionally, in response to the increase in anti-Asian American hate crimes nationwide, Jaclyn pitched and carried out an anti-Asian hate crime PSA that aired on OTV stations across the country. 

Prior to WPVI, Jaclyn worked as a general assignment reporter and anchor at WVEC-TV, the ABC affiliate in Norfolk, Virginia. There she sharpened her investigative skills, reporting from the Virginia State Capitol on the blackface scandal and sexual assault allegations facing top state politicians. Jaclyn also spearheaded investigations into crucial shortages in the U.S. Navy, which caused officials to take action. Jaclyn’s work has also taken her around the globe. She reported on protestors against Machu Picchu tourism in Peru, the effort to preserve minority cultures in China, and the large number of sea lions dying in Chile, and she researched the aftermath of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda. Before relocating to Virginia, Jaclyn worked in Raleigh, North Carolina. She holds a degree in broadcast journalism from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. 

Melissa Adan comes to ABC from NBC 7 and Telemundo 20 in San Diego, where she worked as a general assignment news reporter and anchor since 2018. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, and her reporting has taken her worldwide. She recently traveled to Vatican City to cover Pope Francis’ appointment of new cardinals, has reported from Mexico on the immigration crisis at the border in Tijuana and Ciudad Juarez, and covered the 2018 migrant caravan in Tijuana. Her reporting in Australia on climate change in the aftermath of destructive wildfires won her a regional Emmy. She received the Al Neuharth Investigative Journalism Award from the National Association of Hispanic Journalists for her report on sex abuse and money mismanagement at migrant youth shelters in San Diego. 

Previously, Melissa was a reporter/multimedia journalist at NBC 6 in South Florida. She covered many breaking news events, such as the mass shooting at the Fort Lauderdale airport, Hurricane Irma and the death of José Fernández, star pitcher for the Marlins. Melissa is a Miami, Florida native and a first-generation Cuban American. She has a master’s degree in criminal justice from Florida International University, a B.S. from Boston University's College of Communication and an A.A. from Miami Dade College, The Honors College. 

Both Melissa and Jaclyn are skilled investigative reporters and great additions to our talented teams on both coasts.

Time for the Rust Twitch Rivals 2!!!

Since there is a limit on how much you can type in a tweet, I’ll rant my thoughts out in a tumblr post instead hehe

I don’t play the game myself, but I love watching it ever since Jae played in the OTV Rust server (the first one) last year. He was the one that introduced me to twitch and to all these streamers I’m following now. I only watch two active rust content creator though, they are the ones I vibe with the most; hJune and Hutnik.

The first rust event, dubbed as ‘Twig Rivals’, was kind of a disaster due to the spanish-speaking team displayed some questionable behavior. I still enjoyed it though since I was on June’s stream during the whole event, and he maintained the positive vibes throughout. I hope that this second event will go well and that all the players respect this competition 🙏🙏

The format is a bit different than the first one. This time there’s going to be 4 teams, 5 days, 40 players per team, a new custom map and an elimination based format. So a total of 160 players; 2 NA captains and 2 EMEA captains.

The official list of participants have not been announced yet, but I’ve heard a few names being spoiled on a few streams (usually is themselves that are participating LOL). Many of them are streamers that I consistently been watching, that’s why I’m so excited 😄😄 I’m only interested in Toast’s team, since June is in it and a few EU rust players. Xqc/Mendo team, which is the other NA team, not so much.

UPDATE: June revealed the 40 teammates on his stream (5/8-22) AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I will color the names of my favorite streamers and bold the ones I know of 😉

2ND UPDATE 6/8-22: Apparently June teams swapped two teammates with Willjum’s team, since they didn’t actually know them and to balance out the groups. So we got Nora and Mammoth on the team instead, which is good! Even I know who they are since Jae played with them before. Also Mammoth is from Poland so I’ve also watched a few duo streams of him with Hutnik. Two “noobs” got swapped but I don’t know which two. Let’s see tmr!

Even if we got two more “pros” on the team, I’m sure there are streamers that have not played Rust before (the ones I don't know about) and that’s a disadvantage. Especially if they don’t play any FPS games either. I now understand why Abe said that the other teams have try hards, meanwhile Toast’s team consist of friends LOL But I believe! Maybe those that are not familiar with the game can be farmers? Another concern was, will everyone play in the whole event? Especially the Valorant content creators since LQC is happening right now and for example Tarik is doing watch parties. We’ll see I guess.
