by nature of the origins of many of the muses on this blog, dark themes and mature content will be present such as horror themes, blood and gore, death, possible sexual situations, and violence. these themes and more may not be tagged, if this is an issue for you this may not be the blog for you. 

demonic, angelic, supernatural monsters and beings, and mythological themes are also often prevalent upon this blog. please be aware of this before following. 

this blog is 18+, period. minors do not interact.

primarily uses icons but for some muses uses small to medium gifs on replies -- never uses large gifs on replies.

this is a multipara blog though shorter threads are sometimes seen. i tend to loose interest in one-liners fairly quickly. plotting is highly preferred but not required for most characters. 

please keep in mind that most canon muses are canon divergent and/or mixed canon on this blog so please read through their information pages before interacting with them.

a soft grunt of acknowledgement is the only response he offers to peter's words ; far too kind, far too gentle. he can't bring himself to fight it, though, && he doesn't particularly want to, either.

rocket knows it's true, that the last thing any of them should be doing is messing with time. it all worked out in the end, he thinks. i think... i hope lylla && thems would want me to be happy.

the hallucination — or whatever it was in his self-conscious that caused that mirage on the verge of death — certainly seemed to be, but the details of their reunion have slipped from his mind like the remnants of a dream.

( still, he remembers the feeling. that's what matters, really. )

ears prick up at the sound of the song, && rocket takes one earbud, holding it in his hands as if he can see the sound waves pulsing from it. it's a familiar tune, one that stirs up old memories && makes his chest clench.

does  it  matter  how  he  knew     ?       how  he  knew  something  was  not  right  when  Rocket  carried  his  drooped  shoulders  away  from  the  rest  of  their  family  earlier     ?       it’s  almost       SCARY       what  an  organic  team  they’ve  become  over  the  years.       they  can  look  into  each  other’s  eyes       &       KNOW.       it’s  an  uneasy  feeling  to  know  how  exposed  they  are.       as  heavy  boots  carry  the  Star-Lord  to  Rocket’s  quarters,       he  takes  a  few  deep  breaths  to  get  himself  ready  for  the  unknown  ahead.       he  never  has       &       never  will       JUDGE       his  best  friend.

YOU  DID  THIS  TO  HIM  —  is  the  first  thought  that  echoes  inside  his  mind  upon  seeing  the  procyonid.       he’s  hard  on  himself  like  the  one  before  him.       a  dumb  joke  is  gulped  down  while  he  takes  a  seat  by  Rocket,       worry  etched  in  his  gaze,       shadows  of  worry  falling  on  his  forehead.

he  almost  reaches  out  to  hold  him,       &       yet  his  right  hand  falls  on  his  own  knee  awkwardly.       ❝          oh  i  know      .  .  .          ❞       Peter  agrees  with  a  quiet  tone.       relief  courses  through  him  too,       knowing  he  leans  on  him,       physically,       mentally,       however  he  wants.  it’s  the       LEAST       the  half  human  can  do  for  the  fellow  guardian.

lucy < 33 ! you're a ray of literal sunshine, i'm truly convinced. i will say right now that you make me love peter quill. i admittedly... have only watched the first gotg and as far as comic knowledge, it's next to nil. but, that did not stop me from clicking that follow right away. your passion for your muse is infectious and let's not even get started on how pretty your theme and your graphics are !! is it weird to say that some of my favorite things about your blog is reading through some of your threads / dynamics with other people's muses ? it's just really cool to read how peter feels about different characters and his response to them. i guess, i'm just really invested in your peter's journey! and, i think it's also really amazing that you've written him so long and you're actively continuing to build on him and willing to have him grow out of his old self and not afraid to make him completely your own !

OCTOBER  POSITIVITY  MEME  :  fairy,  tag  someone  who  you  see  as  an  asset  to  the  community  at  large.

idk  how  many  of  these  i’ll  get  so  i’m  gonna  tag  a  couple  people  i  think  this  could  apply  to  ...  although  i’m  not  entirely  sure  what  “asset”  means  in  terms  of  the  rpc,  so  i’m  choosing  to  interpret  it  openly.  

@dervoured​  :  for  me,  personally,  allie  has  really  been  a  huge  influence  in  terms  of  various  things,  but  most  notably  i’d  say  is  probably  the  way  i’ve  come  to  love  and  appreciate  original  characters.  that’s  not  to  say  i  didn’t  before,  because  i  absolutely  did  and  i  have  always  had  high  respect  for  them,  but  i  know  that  i  had  never  really  ventured  in  to  bringing  an  oc  to  the  rpc  until  allie.  because  of  her  i  feel  a  lot  more  comfortable  exploring  that  (  though  i’ve  yet  to  actually  properly  try,  it’s  in  the  works  ok,  i’m  working  on  it  )  -  and  also,  she’s  really  supportive.  i  know  that  i  can  rely  on  allie  to  spam  memes  whenever  i,  or  anyone,  asks  for  them.  which  is  neat.

@elskcv​  :  in  the  same  context  of  respecting  and  appreciating  something  that  previously  was  either  not  generally  accepted  in  the  rpc,  or  terrifying  to  explore,  i  know  i’ve  said  this  to  her  before  but  djaq  i  feel  has  been  a  driving  force  in  normalising  nsfw  content  in  the  rpc.  obviously,  that’s  not  the  only  thing  about  her  and  her  blog  that  i  adore,  and  it’s  not  the  sole  draw  either,  but  for  the  past  maybe  two  years  ?  i  think,  even  before  we  were  mutuals,  it  was  really  refreshing  to  see  how  unapologetic  she  was  about  what  she  wants  to  write,  and  what  her  characters  wanted  to  explore.  i  was  never  ashamed  to  want  to  write  that  genre  of  thread,  but  i  was  maybe  embarrassed  ?  to  ask  for  it  or  approach  anyone.  now,  i  think  largely  in  part  thanks  to  djaq,  i  wouldn’t  think  twice  about  posting  or  reblogging  anything  even  remotely  sexual.

@builtmyth​  :  yeah.  you.  honestly  just  so  happy  i  found  you  again  but  like.  since  we  first  started  following  each  other  way  back,  you  were  always  so  supportive  and  welcoming.  and  that  really  hasn’t  changed.  i  feel  like  encouraging  other  people  and  engaging  with  what  they  post  is  something  that  a  lot  of  people  either  struggle  to  do,  or  simply  don’t  want  to.  i  know  that  i’ve  been  trying  really  hard,  especially  in  recent  months,  to  try  and  reach  out  more  whether  it’s  to  plot  or  interact,  or  just  like  or  comment  on  other  people’s  posts  so  they  know  they’re  not  screaming  in  to  the  void,  and  i  think  a  lot  of  that  is  at  least  somewhat  in  part  because  of  you.  you  really  do  just  support  the  community  in  whatever  they  do  and  i  think  it  means  a  lot  to  people,  even  if  they  don’t  say  it.  also  your  graphics  are  fire.

we’re  not  following  each  other  here,  and  we  haven’t  spoken  in  a  really  long  time,  but  i  have  to  include  @ofmalice  /  @villainsrph​  in  this  one.  i  think  for  the  most  part,  everyone  i  know  can  attest  to  briar’s  contribution  to  the  rpc  in  terms  of  his  commission  work.  there  are  so  many  talented  people  in  the  community  and  all  of  their  work  is  phenomenal,  i  certainly  have  no  idea  how  they  do  it,  but  i  think  it’s  safe  to  say  that  briar’s  is  probably  some  of  the  most  recognisable  ?  he’s  also  really  consistent  and  considerably  easy  to  work  with.

@outlawiism​  :  and  to  round  this  off  at  five,  i  gotta  add  lucy  here.  i  feel  like  lucy  is  such  a  positive  influence  on  the  dash,  and  really  encourages  everyone  to  put  themselves  first  and  practice  self  care  ?  there  have  been  times  where  i’ve  felt  really  down  and  they’ve  reached  out  and  commented  support,  and  i’ve  seen  that  consistently  on  my  dash  even  before  we  became  mutuals,  for  any  number  of  people.  i  wouldn’t  be  surprised  if  she  scoured  the  dash  looking  for  posts  to  sprinkle  glitter  on.  whether  you  interact  with  her  or  not,  she’s  almost  always  posting  something  uplifting  and  i  think  that’s  something  that  community  really  needs.

ooc |  okay this is actually....hard....i have so many ??? interesting threads??? but ok. in no particular order: (ALSO instead of sending in this ask, i’ll just tag 5 other people. )

1. my thread with @fasciinating​ detailing emma &&. spock meeting for the first time??? it’s a merging of both our verses && super interesting - && i just love the different nuances of telepathy they both have ??? there’s also always this spoken/unspoken conversation duality they have going which makes me look forward to each thread??? also jay is a FANTASTIC writer &&. i’m basically always in awe.

2. @aniimvs:  the plotting behind this thread low-key inspired its own star wars AU verse for me; but i just really enjoy seeing how they write kylo ren in his most aggressive state, reacting to a force-user he doesn’t understand ??? also just how on edge the whole things makes my character. emma’s not one to usually be quite so on edge, but the entire scenario is quite dark &&. does make me think more about what my muse would be like in such a situation.

3. @originalbirdboy: literally every single thread i have is *chef’s kiss*. beth is such a good writer && we have such a good dynamic with warren && emma that now spreads over like dozens of headcanons && little things that just make me die inside. emma’s usually quite caustic in conversation, or pretending towards something, but with warren she’s a bit more softer && more authentic, && i love seeing that.

4. @valiantsword :  again, lowkey inspired me to write a whole verse for an old guard AU // luca is such A TALENT ??? just the character inspiration && backstory && the way it’s all framed is gorgeous &&. fills me with delight. emma’s initial interactions with arthur are also tinged with both annoyance &&. suspicion, &&. the whole thing is so interesting to write.

5. @diamind : noor is literally such a queen // she completely blew my mind with the idea for emma having a dual personality that exists within her as a coping mechanism for her telepathy; her writing style is beautiful &&. poetic, &&. she makes me understand emma in such a deeper way that i just cant help but love our thread :)

This wouldn’t be me if it had some sort of fancy banner, so you’re just gonna get my wall of text, lol. 

So when I decided to create a blog for Kol, I didn’t have any idea — ANY IDEA — what I was getting myself into. I was happily RPing in the Disney rpc with my Toy Story muse, and had amazing friends over there, lots of muse, and was really happy with where I was, RP-wise. 

But I’d just gotten back into The Originals, and had seen Kol’s comeback, and his story began to click for me. I needed that extra backstory — of seeing him, narratively, from the storyteller role and not just as an antagonist — to be able to really understand the potential of his character. We had a character who was introduced as a dark force, unpredictable, who was willing to get his hands dirty to achieve his goals. Originals fleshed out what he looks like from the other side of the story: his motivations, his relationship with his family, and what he is ultimately searching for. 

So I decided to make a Kol blog, but I was expecting it to be, like, not a big thing, you know? I was going to make him my “weekend blog” and I was going to have fun on him, but he wasn’t going to be my main muse. But as soon as I started digging into him, and realized how much room I had to grow and develop with a character who had SO MUCH untold story?? I fell really hard, and really fast. Soon, Kol was the only blog I was logging into. And faster than I realized it could happen, there were people who were responding to my version of him! I was being validated and galvanized to just keep going. 

I found this weird middle ground where I wasn’t apologizing for the horrific things Kol had done, but I wasn’t focusing on them, either. I was worried about making this blog because I don’t write viciousness that well. I don’t want a character who is in CONSTANT fight mode. I didn’t want every single interaction to be Kol hunting someone, Kol hurting someone. 

The last four years has been a series of ups and downs, character-wise. There have been things I’ve tried that have worked really well, and stayed with my portrayal of Kol! And there have been things that really needed to be brought back to the drawing board. Everything has been important and it’s definitely made me a stronger writer. 

I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who’s stuck it out, through huge changes on my blog, through me backing away from Kol for times when my inspiration was low, through personal ups and downs which played with my strength as a writer. The opportunities I have are because I have people willing to try things out with me. I appreciate you all so much.

           @madtiitan !!  okay but, Thanos? really? and the answer is YES, Thanos. They have a take on him that’s so SPOT ON. I love it, it’s brilliant, and they obviously love Thanos, which makes things even better. Seriously, if you’re looking for some quality, this is the place. The only Titan that is allowed to bother Steve from time to time.

            @stormweathered !!  this is a brilliant Thor, seriously, I always stop when I see them on the dash, the writing is wonderful and the charactization of Thor is spot on. I’d love to be able to interact with them at some point!.
