For his 10th birthday, Anakin is gifted a cam by Master Windu. He takes it everywhere, much to Obi-Wan's annoyance. Though his Master becomes easier about the constant cam use once he realizes all Anakin wants to capture is him.

Summary:

“We will never agree on this,” said Obi-Wan watching the stiff curve of Anakin’s back. He cut a striking figure, even when cradled in the dark he still called to Obi-Wan. It was hard to not look, to resist the ever tightening grip of the pull Anakin exercised on him.

“I don’t need you to agree with me, Obi-Wan. I just need you to stop fighting me.”

Mob boss Anakin Skywalker is one of the youngest gang leaders to rise to power in recent history. DCI Obi-Wan Kenobi is tasked with bringing this rising threat to justice. The only problem is Obi-Wan and Anakin have history, and the Detective in question finds himself walking on a tightrope of morality. After all the heart wants what it wants.

Obikin personal headcanons nobody asked for :

- Obi-Wan is an early bird, always waking up around dawn to perform his carefully crafted morning routine before starting the day. He goes to bed early when he can and falls asleep quickly. He generally sleeps well but his sleep deteriorates a lot during the war.

- Anakin is a night owl. He goes to bed late at night and tosses and turns for at least an hour before his overthinking brain finally shuts down. He (canonically) has nightmares very often if not every night and so has a very poor sleep quality impacting his mental health. He also suffers from insomnia. He hates waking up in the morning and when he has the chance he likes to sleep in until at least 12:00. Obi-Wan lets him.

- When they got together they had a very hard time adjusting to each other's sleep habits. They eventually found a balance by choosing a common bedtime hour, Obi-Wan finding different ways to quiet down Anakin's internal voices and Anakin accepting to receive help for it.

- Anakin likes to sleep on top of Obi-Wan. It isn't really comfortable for both of them but they don't care. They keep this habit during the war and deny everyone saying it's weird.

- Once in a while, Anakin programs an alarm to wake up before Obi-Wan and brew him his favourite tea.

- Obi-Wan always comes back from a mission with stolen found pieces of scrap he knows Anakin will be interested in.

- They always share a good night kiss, no matter what, even if they're mad at each other. Especially if they're mad at each other.

- Anakin tells Obi-Wan how much he loves him fifty times a day. Obi-Wan shows him.

- Anakin is very easily overwhelmed and/or overstimulated when they have sex. Obi-Wan became a specialist in after-care.

- Obi-Wan would leave the Order if Anakin asked. He almost did it when Anakin was a Padawan and would do it again.

- They think they're so subtle but every clone in their battalions knows what's up with the Generals. They won't tell a thing.

- Obi-Wan is the one who proposes, but Anakin is the one bringing an orphaned force-sensitive baby home.

Bonus one, pain edition :

- Anakin has very bad ptsd after the fight on Mustafar and is terrified of fire. He spends as much time as he can on his ship not to be confronted with the view of the lava surrounding his castle. The first time he got close to it again after 10 years was when he dragged Obi-Wan through it. It was both terrifying and liberating.

Like he’s walking around without his prosthetic because he can and there’s nothing wrong about it period the end. And he has that shirt on I’m sure the Karen’s hate him.

lmao but also imagine the halloween after anakin loses his arm when he and obi-wan are dancing around each other and being weird but not together yet and obi-wan gets an invitation to a halloween party and he's not gonna go because he's definitely sort of over halloween in general and house parties specifically, but then he finds out that anakin is going to go and that changes everything

but he doesn't have a costume so he just throws on his lifeguard outfit (but rolls up his shorts a little bit more and grabs one of the older beach t-shirts so he can cut out the sides in proper slutty lifeguard fashion)

only for anakin to show up as a shark attack (in progress), fake blood and all

im just thinking of them like standing next to each other by the wall in awkward silence after another person misidentifies them as a couple costume and obi-wan looks at anakin out of the corner of his eye and he's like >:( actually that was deeply traumatizing for me'

and anakin is like (sipping his drink) 'skill issue'

I love your stardew obikin au! Does anakin end up losing his arm in this au? If so, how? And do you have any festival thoughts?

Thank you so much for liking it!!! I hadn't thought about the arm! Maybe he loses it in a freaky farm accident and Obi-Wan gets very stressed about it, maybe we will let him keep it in this one, as a happy au.

The day Anakin learns about the flower dance he knows that he will dance with Obi-Wan. He KNOWS it. He won't dance with anyone else. What follows are days (maybe weeks) of Anakin being too afraid to actually ask Obi-Wan to the dance, a couple of girls asking him that he of course declines. Anakin hesitates so much that the day of the dance comes and he hasn't asked him yet but the moment he sees Obi-Wan in the forest talking with someone else?? Oh, Anakin is there is a second asking (begging) Obi-Wan to be his partner. Obi-Wan of course accepts, he had been thinking about asking himself, but it was Anakin's first time, so he wanted to leave the choice to him.
